Migraine: SOME EPIDEMIOLOGICAL DATA ON THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Females in Kazakhstan suffer from migraine more frequent - 89.7%, than males - 10.7%. Diagnosis: "Migraine" was firstly detected in 42.6% of patients, in 57.1% of patients it was diagnosed in different stages of the disease; among all examined patients number of people working in different areas of activity was significantly higher in comparison with number of people out of work; people suffered from migraine are mostly involved in intellectual work; among ranked severe disorders associated with migraine mostly were detected the following: Mts. gastritis, spinal osteochondrosis (various segments), hypertension, Mt. pyelonephritis, Mt. bronchitis, neuro-circulatory dystonia; migraine often was inherited from the mother right (84.5%); and, finally, severe headaches mostly appeared between the ages of 15 and 20 years old, the least -before 5 years.
