The process of interlock-ing Moldovan popular architecture with professional Rus-sian classicism is also thoroughly researched on the exam-ple of the houses of classical order, the so-called „houses with columns”.

The integration of emigrants from the Moldavian principality in Russian society during the XVIII century The history of migration flows from the Moldovan Princi-pality to the neighboring countries is one of the most re-searched topics of the modern historiography. Numerous publications address the reasons of migration occurrence, its forms and intensity of traffic and the demographic con-sequences for the Principality. This article is dedicated to a less researched side of the Moldovan immigration to Rus-sia during the XVIII century and the problem of their inte-gration into the Russian society. Based on numerous doc-uments, the majority of which are being introduced into the academic circuit for the first time, the author identifies the main social groups of immigrants and the specifics of their process of integration. Documental analysis portrays the policies pursued by the Russian government to create favorable conditions to simplify the naturalization of the newly arrived from the Moldovan Principality.

The history of the formation of a new stage of the rela-tionship between Old Believers’ religious communities and the Soviet Government in 1920–1930 is described in the present article. Special attention is paid to the implemen-tation of the first decree of the Soviet Government, which determined the legitimate status of the Old Believers’ com-munities in the Baikal Region. The author reveals interest-ing facts about the inter-confessional activity of the Old Be-lievers’ communities during the period of their registration.

In the article the question of the significance of the na-tive language for the Belarusians of Moldova considered for the survey materials, we conducted in 2009. The role and importance of the mother tongue for the Belarusians of Mol-dova is manifested in their language behavior and language competence. The significance of the native language for the identity of Belarusians emphasizes its symbolic aspect. For Belarusians of Moldova Value is determined by the language, above all, its symbolic meaning – the language is a symbol of ethnic and cultural identity, collective emotive value. The language gives them a sense of cultural and ethnic identity.

The article examines the reflection of some „every-day culture” aspects of the Bessarabian society of the 1920s of the interwar period in the journalistic works of Leonid Dobronravov (Donici). The object of this study is the au-thor himself, as a person in the subjective circumstances of social and cultural life, and his interpretation of these circumstances. This makes possible to recreate the atmo-sphere of a particular historical time (the early years of the turning point of the interwar period), and to explore the features and the originality of the formation of the Bessarabian mentality.

The article provides the analysis of the „Russkoye Slovo” newspaper in 2013–2015. The author reveals nodal points of discourse about ethnic groups: historical memo-ry and the language issue that build the representation of ethnicity. The author gives a more detailed analysis of the historical memory reflected in the newspaper, analyzing the timeline reflected in this edition and the mechanisms of past-present connection. The article presents the analy-sis of the historical memory on the level of an objectified narrative and on a personified one.
