Adélia Prado, in her book Bagagem, presents an intentional and insistent dialogue with some writers, mainly with male ones and belonging to Brazilian literature. Among these authors, we can highlight the romantic poet Castro Alves. The dialogue with a poet who conceived the female figure in a naive and sweet romantic molds, but who also represented most real and sexy women, is a form of the adeliano speech put up as a builder of a woman's voice who also has what to say. Thus, this study aims to verify how Adélia Prado, resuming the romantic poet with irony and eroticism, proposes a reflection about the forms of resistance and overcoming of women, through the poetic discourse and consequently through the female representation of women living in a patriarchal society.
