This article describes the performance results of two versions of Java - 1.7 and 1.8. Three applications were created for this purpose. The first one is responsible for preparing the test data. Two more implement performance tests depending on the virtual machine version of Java. The methods in the test applications were designed to analyze the performance of collections and the rate of change of the variables by two threads.

The article presents both the methods of data modification of motion capture data in C3D file format, and the analysis of the modification of motion capture data using implemented application. The application is used to load C3D files with recorded motion and to automatic cut of the repeating, similar sequences of recorded motion. The analysis was conducted in terms of comparing received cut phases of motion. Study include cases such as length of particular phases, maximum and minimum distance between examined markers and comparison of start and final motion frames.

The aim of the work is the performance analysis of the Unity3D engine in the contex of applications running with a web browser and WebGL technology.. The paper presents literature review was carried out in the scope of creating multimedia applications run in web browsers, graphics engines and WebGL technology . Additionally, technical issues related with converting Unity3D application to WebGL technology are discussed. The research are performed based on computer simulations with five scenes created with Unity3D environment, which include the main capabilities of this engine. Finally, it was presented the results of these studies and the conclusions.

This publication concentrate on the posibility of the use of sensors in mobile devices with modified operating systems. Presented research focuses on Android devices. The gyroscope, the accelerometer, the orientation sensor and the light sensor data was acquired with use of Physics Toolbox Sensor software. The research has been conducted on two mobile devices of Xiaomi under control of six different kinds of operating system. Measured values were compared to values recorded by very accurate, reference sensors.

The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of JavaScript AngularJS and VueJS frameworks to create user interfaces. The study of productivity has been achieved through the implementation of JavaScript applications using both frameworks. Each of them was executed and the performance was measured. The results was a basis is the analysis. The analysis was done using the code build in the applications as well as the developer tools of web browsers.

The data is often the most valuable thing that we collect on our computers. Without proper data security with encryption our valuable information may be illegally used by an unauthorised person. The article presents selected encryption methods and hash functions available in Boucy Castle library for Java programming language. The presented analysis applies to measurement of the speed of signature generation and verification. The signatures are for 240 bit encryption algorithms. In case of a hash function, the analysis refers to the speed of such functions. The fastest encryption algorithm and hash function from the research group were AES and SHA1.

This article compares three modern Linux file systems: ext4, Btrfs and XFS. Their construction and functional features were discussed. File systems were compared in terms of performance. The topics being considered in the study is to compare the text input methods in the mobile network communicator. Analyzed the speed of text entry as well as the number of mistakes made by users via the tested methods. Compared the methods of entering text using the QWERTY keyboard, Swype Technology, Handwriting and voice commands. The study was conducted among the two groups of respondents, by age of the participants. There have been characteristics of the selected text input methods in the mobile network communicator. On the needs of the article was developed mobile communicator.

The study describes and characterises BOID (bird-oid object) type behaviours, consisting of joint movement of a cluster of objects with the same properties. Authors presented Reynolds’ model, which takes into account 3 rules: separation, alignment and consistency, as well as the control procedures of a cluster of objects suggested by Parker, considering such variables as wind, aim, speed, order and the occurring forces. The test method was to conduct simulation experiments with different configurations of coefficients of the forces controlling the model. For each simulation the time of moving from the start point to the end point was measured. A hundred simulations were carried out for each individual group of coefficients, and then, using the described statistics methods, generalised time values were determined. This allowed a comparison of the results and made a conclusions. The numerical simulations carried out were implemented in Unity environment. Calculating the time required for travelling the same route was done by changing the value of the separation force, cohesion, alignment and avoidance. From the values obtained, it can be seen that the biggest influence on the increase of the time of moving BOID objects, is increasing value of the coefficient of separation and levelling forces. Unity environment is well suited to conduct such simulations, since it allows to obtain both numerical values and process visualization as a 3D image. In addition, Unity allows to create individual scripts to manage simulation in individual IDEs, and consists reliable documentation, which simplifies their writing.

Various methods that rely on offloading graphics card, by increasing the use of CPU and memory were used in order to check how the game performance changes.

This document reviews research in efficiency analysys of particles created by Unity 3D built-in particle system compared to those created via sctript written in C# language. Author focused his research on examining the impact of the various tasks on the speed of rendering frames, a difference which occur during the generation of particle by particle system and those generated by a script, and how influential is the complexity of the mesh particles generated on the application performance. For this purpose, using Unity3D, Microsoft Visual Studio and Blender, an applications for computers that are ruunniong on Windows system was created, application allows to adjust the simulation parameters (the number of generated particles, particle shape - sphere, cube).
