The paper presents the analysis of the human heartbeat value under the physical exercise and rest condition. The test group was divided into four groups regarding age and sex. Measurements were performed using a mobile application and a blood pressure monitor. The phone's accuracy with respect to the blood pressure gauge was measured and the statistical significance of differences between age groups, sex and activity was also computed. Measurement inaccuracy varies from 4 to 12%. The mobile application accurately reproduces the pulse during rest.

This paper is focused on comparison of interface quality of mobile access to the services of selected banks. Main factors, which were used in the comprising process are: safety, availability on the mobile platforms, time and simplicity of task performing, intelligibility, design, comfort, number of functions. Research was made using 4 methods: surveys, corridor tests, expert tests and eyetracking. As a result T-Mobile Banking Services won in three categories: intelligibility, design and simplicity while mBank is better in responsiveness, availability and has more functions to offer.

Based on Nielsen's conclusions, ISO standards, and metrics efficiency, problem-based and user ratings, mobile interfaces of three applications for searching public transport connections were evaluated and compared. The research was conducted using an eye tracking goggle and surveys on a group of five students of the Lublin University of Technology. The same functionalities of applications were tested.

The arcticle describes preparation of architectural visualization of the virtual museum. It purpose was to explore possibilities of using VR glasses, 3D scans and design aplications. During the study VR glasses showed great opportunities in the field of architectural visualisation. The results of the performance tests confirmed potencial in 3D scans and models from design applications, although they require mesh prcoessing and simplification. However, the tests showed insufficient performance of tested smartphone’s GPU, which shows that market needs to advance in this direction. This would make it possible to create better VR applications.

In agile methods, one of the techniques for improving code quality is refactoring. This is a process that employs a number of techniques, modifying the code without changing its functionality, aiming to improve its transparency and reduce vulnerability. You can measure the improvement of the code using different code quality metrics. The paper presents an analysis of the effect of refactoring on static code quality on the example of the open-source project Scuba. The quality of the code was measured at two different points of software development - right before and after refactoring the code. The three most popular sets of object code quality metrics and the Sonarqube tool were used for the measurement. The research clearly demonstrates the significant improvement of static code quality as a result of refactoring.

The article presents the results of comparative analysis of various tools for creating applications for the Android operating system. Performance analysis was based on applications created using individual frameworks, in particular Xamarin and native software development tools. Several research criteria have been defined, based on which results of performance comparison have been derived and formulated conclusions.
