LETRAS is an academic journal that publishes studies of high academic value on linguistics, literature, second language teaching, Costa Rican indigenous languages, semiotics and translation. In addition, the journal publishes material of documentary importance for the disciplines within the scope of the Escuela de Literatura y Ciencias del Lenguaje (UNA).
