FOCUS AND SCOPE
Al-Rafidain Engineering Journal (AREJ), which is issued annually by the College of Engineering/University of Mosul, aims to expand knowledge and experience in the various fields of engineering and provides a broad coverage on the most interesting and well-done work of their principles. The journal issues one annual volume including six issues covering the following majors:
Architectural Engineering.
Civil Engineering.
Electrical Engineering.
Mechanical Engineering.
Dams and Water Resources Engineering.
Computer Engineering.
Mechatronics Engineering.
Environmental Engineering.
To be accepted for publication, a paper must be judged to be truly outstanding and effectively able to participate in developing its field of engineering and related sciences. After submitting, the paper will be assessed by a highly experienced and reputed referees who will recommend it for either acceptance or rejection.
OPEN ACCESS POLICY
The peer-reviewed AREJ provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
ARCHIVING
AREJ utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
