  • post(s) is an annual publication by the College of Communication and Contemporary Arts of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito. It reflects on discussions and debates that take place within and between the communicational and artistic fields, both locally, regionally and internationally. The thematic interests of post(s) are developed amongst the members of the Editorial Committee and guest editors, whom are invited to collaborate with the publication. Each edition emphasizes on professional, artistic and academic praxis –creation is an agglutinating axis of this publication. post(s) publishes more traditional academic texts, along with experimental and performative forms of writing and knowledge production. The articles are published in Spanish and/or English. In addition, each issue includes translations of seminal texts that circulate only in English. Translations are chosen by the Editorial Committee which takes into account both the relevance of the text to the issue’s theme, and the importance of sharing influential texts within a Spanish-speaking context. The main audience of the publication are academics interested in post disciplinary research, and a wider public interested in understanding the transformations of contemporary society, from a critical and cultural studies perspective.
