PUCARA is an annual publication of the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Learning Sciences of the University of Cuenca, Ecuador.
Its objective is to disseminate research of the different cultural and societal manifestations from literary, historical, philosophical, anthropological, archeological and educational perspectives in the Ecuadorian, Ibero-American, and world spheres.
Pucara is a space for dialogue and academic exchange; it brings together national and international experts to present preliminary and final results of original research projects, endorsed by prestigious educational and research institutions.
It is aimed at researchers, critics, writers, teachers, and readers in general in the area of humanities and education.
The abbreviation of its title is Pucara Ec., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, legends, and bibliographical references.
It comprises papers and essays having to do with theories, analysis of texts, and reviews arising from research and studies from the university environment in Ecuador, Ibero-America and the world.
