Bakhtiniana - Journal of Discourse Studies, bilingual journal (Portuguese and English) in electronic format, was created in 2008 and assued by Applied Linguistics and Language Studies Post-graduation Program of Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo/LAEL-PUCSP and by the members of Language, Identity and Memory Research Group/CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development). The journal' mission is to promote and to publicize discourse studies researches. It gathers every six months papers, book reviews, debates and conference reports written by professors and/or PhD researchers from national and international universities.
Evaluated as Qualis A1 (the highest ranking available on the system) by CAPES (the Brazilian Federal Agency for the Support and Evaluation of Graduate/Post-Graduate Education)
