Cumbres is a multidisciplinary journal of the Universidad Técnica de Machala, which disseminates research by academics around the world biannually. It is characterized by its epistemological and methodological openness in the construction of scientific knowledge. Cumbres publishes results of rigorous, unpublished, original research; offering alternative solutions to the requirements of modern times. It is aimed at professionals interested in investigating current issues related to different disciplines classified within the social and human sciences, life sciences, technology development, agricultural science, and business, among others. The journal follows the arbitration system known as double-blind, framed in the rigor demanded by scientific serials. Today, Cumbres enters the globalization of knowledge through the Open Journal System (OJS) platform.
