The Journal of the Faculty of Economics aims to contribute to the strengthening and construction of a new identity within Ecuadorian academia, serving as a pluralistic platform for the dissemination of economic science. To achieve this, we invited professors, researchers, and professionals in the field of economics to submit research papers for publication.
The Journal of the Faculty of Economics seeks to socialize research findings, work, and contributions from economics professionals and related fields without compromising the quality of the published content. We welcome theoretical and empirical studies that employ diverse methodologies. Additionally, we promote dialogue among different perspectives within the field of economics and welcome research that emerges from various approaches to ensure the plurality of contributions.
The Journal of the Faculty of Economics targets opinion leaders, policymakers, students, academics, researchers, and the general public with an interest in topics related to economic science. It is freely available online with no charge to the user.
Starting in 2023, the Journal of the Faculty of Economics is published semi-annually, with editions available in May and November of each year.
Currently, this journal is indexed in LATINDEX Catalog 2.0, Dialnet, MIAR, LatinREV, and Google Scholar.
