  • The Journal Knowledge & Diversity (RCD), eISSN 2237-8049, is a publication of the Centro Universitário La Salle do Rio de Janeiro and is part of the Network of La Salle Institutions, which extends to 83 countries, including 74 Universities and 1003 basic schools. The Journal is also part of the La Salle Brazil-Chile Province and the Latin American Lasallian Regional Educational Project/PERLA. Journal Homepage Image Revista Conhecimento & Diversidade (RCD) is an academic and scientific journal that prioritizes articles on education, teaching, and learning, publishing research that elucidates learning processes and the ways in which technologies, instructional practices, and environments can be designed to support learning in different national and international contexts. It also welcomes other articles from areas related to education and teaching, which address emerging issues and phenomena, complex and challenging of contemporary society, because it holds that education and teaching are participants in this same society in constant transformation. The RCD invites authors to submit their articles in a wide range of contexts, including formal and informal education, teaching, and learning environments. Relevant contexts include school or community settings; basic or higher education; workplaces and public spaces; play and family spaces; as well as distance education, virtual realities, and metaverse. We welcome all interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research on education, teaching, and learning that problematizes disciplinary boundaries, conducting critical reflection on pedagogical theories and practices, as well as on its actors and institutions. Articles are not limited to any particular research method, methodology, or theoretical framework, but should be based on rigorous analyses that present new knowledge about how people learn and/or how learning can be supported and enhanced. Manuscripts should carefully describe the methods used, and justify their appropriateness to the research questions that are posed in the article. From 2009 to 2016, RCD published its issues on a biannual basis. From 2017 to 2022, it adopted a four-monthly frequency. From 2023 on, it will publish four issues per year, i.e., quarterly, due to the increasing volume of articles qualified for publication. In this way, RCD intends to contribute more and more to the authors who entrust the journal with their academic and scientific work.
