The Iraqi Journal of Physics is an open access scientific journal that focuses on publishing genuine papers of physical sciences in both applied and theoretical fields. Due to its wide scope, Iraqi Journal of Physics may also accept papers in other fields of relevance, such as Chemistry, Astronomy, remote sensing, and some specific science and engineering applications that related to physics.
Being the first specialized journal in physics science inside the Republic of Iraq, the Iraqi Journal of Physics holds a significant place among all other scientific journals published in this field of science. The central role of this journal was revealed from the importance of physics science development in the academic society of Iraq. Such development began decades ago and it marked the Iraqi scientific society as being the most distinguished, for the notable and extended efforts of its members. Iraqi Journal of Physics publishing under the license of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY). It published quadruple by the University of Baghdad, Iraq in January 2002. The Journal is using Turinit to prevent plagiarism and to ensure the originality of our submitted manuscripts. A double-blind peer-reviewing scheme is used to assure the quality of the publication.
