Kyiv Historical Studies – scientific edition, dealing with current issues of history and archaeology, preference is given to the study of urban history, especially the history of Kyiv, was founded by the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University in 2015, published twice a year (June, December).
Problems: scientific research of magazine covering topical issues of history (with no chronological, thematic or territorial restrictions), historiography and source, theory and methodology of history, and present a review of professional publishing. Preference is given to research on urban history, especially the history of Kyiv.
The creative principles of editorial board: gnoseological pluralism, freedom of scientific creativity, openness to debate, promotion of communication in the community of scholars-historians.
Basic requirements for authors: the highest professional level of texts, providing their scientific novelty, the adequacy of selected research methods for the study of problems, diligence in the handling of sources and historiography on the topic of research, originality and validity of conclusions.
