  • The Encyclopedia Herald of Ukraine (Entsykpopedychnyi Visnyk Ukrainy) is an full open-access reviewed journal for encyclopedia studies. It publishes theoretical, empirical and methodological original articles, review articles, biography essays as well as reports and reviews covering the broad spectrum of encyclopedistics, defined as the study of encyclopedias and encyclopedic content (encyclopedic knowledge). The herald’s primary focus is articles of original studies referred to the encyclopedic activity from the earliest period to the present, in across fields and disciplines. We encourage the submission of research outputs in which various topics concerning encyclopedias (historical trends, building proccess, conceptual frameworks, entries and articles, role and usage, classifications, technologies, etc.) as well as encyclopedic knowledge are studying. These are topics that are usually exploring in fields of humanities and social sciences like history, linguistics, philosophy, information and library sciences, communication studies, and can be combined by term “encyclopedistics” (“encyclopedics”, “encyclopediography”).
