Strategic guidelines for strengthening the organizational climate

Job performance is directly related to the motivation and commitment that staff have with their institution, affecting the organizational climate. This situation has given rise to the concern of the present study whose objective is to design strategic guide-lines for strengthening the organizational climate of the Departamento de Recursos Humanos del Hospital General “Dr. Israel Ranuarez Balza” from San Juan de los Morros, Guárico state. The research was framed in the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach, under the Feasible Project modality, supported by a descriptive field design. The population was made up of 80 workers from the institution. The survey was used as the data collection technique. Among the instruments used are the questionnaire. The analysis technique of the results was the statistical study and the statistical infe-rence. Among the results obtained, the lack of criteria for diagnosing the training of the workforce with a view to improving their performance in the hospital institution can be mentioned. Likewise, the lack of development of personnel training programs was evident. Conclusions, this scarce valuation of the existing resources in the institution for the selection of suitable personnel is evident. Finally, the little regularity with which the needs are determined in terms of the quality of the personnel required for a given job. Likewise, guidelines are proposed to reinforce the employee’s identificationwith the institution, the work culture , maintain communication create a harmonious boss-em-ployee environment, and maintain motivation.
