The world financial crisis in 2008-2009 brings a lot of problems for economic enterprises, but the most injured branch was construction industry. The main reason for that was growing troubles with mortgage credits, which in fact were closed for wide access. Considering that building industry and especially housing construction is one of the main economic engines we should analyze what are the main reasons of stagnation on mortgage lending market, which is the key source of financial capital for housing construction. We found that main problems are systemic and could be solve only with wide activity of the state institutions.

The main purpose of the paper is to develop the ideas of procyclical leverage behavior and reverse of the normal demand for assets emphasized by Adrian and Shin (2008). We analyze nonlinear interrelations between credit frictions, banks’ balance sheets, leverage, and assets prices in the structure of reinforcing and balancing feedback loops. Also we develop an Adrian and Shin’s interesting hypothesis of about fundamental changes of the microeconomic foundations of demand curve in conditions of lending expanding.

The article deals with analysis of the impact of education level on the competitiveness of older workers in the labor market of Ukraine.It has been noted that there is a direct correlation between duration of education and probability to continue professional activity in older age. The results of the survey «Older men and women in Ukraine: quality of life and social well-being» have proved that more favorable conditions of employment and higher wages help to attract elderly people with high level of education to the economically active population. Today in Ukraine, as in the most developed countries, changes in age-specific profiles of labor occur by reducing the proportion of younger and middle-aged people Therefore the implementation of lifelong learning programs in Ukraine should start with promotion of their measures among the people of older, pre-retirement and retirement employment age.

The study examines the probable factors such as female literacy, and per capita GNP who affects the child mortality in different extend. It reveals in the study that female literacy and per capita GNP adversely influence the child mortality of the low and middle income countries around the world, meaning that an increase in the both variables can trim down the child mortality significantly. It is found that the impact of female literacy is nearly double than that of per capita GNP which suggests to give more importance on female education and public awareness to reduce child mortality.

A heuristic concept of institutional self-organization in regional environmental monitoring systems is proposed and tested with a cross-country example. The effect of pollutants’ health and environmental impact upon their coverage in annual monitoring programs is modeled using logistic regression with random effects, controlling for central government budget allocations. Statistical estimations show the varying degree of self-organizing systems’ capability of efficiently mediating macro policy signals. A regular assessment of this kind may provide the screening criteria for efficiency audit, as well as design, of environmental monitoring systems, and assist in establishing co-financing amounts and structures for environmental administration.

One of the conditions of human life in the city is a sufficient number of recreational facilities. Among them an important place is occupied by recreation units in residential districts, which are used for daily and weekly resource types of recreation, especially by inhabitants relating to the category of citizens with limited mobility. This paper presents the economic evaluation of recreation units in residential districts by using the method of total economic value. The objects include a water body (pond) and as well as green area. There were determined the direct use value (cost of wood), as well as indirect use. There were taken into account the following functions of recreational facility components: water treatment, carbon dioxide sequestration and dust removing. There were compared the costs of direct and indirect use of recreational facilities. It was also shown the necessity to keep the visual impact of the recreational landscape with his assessment.

We have identified the necessity to use cyclical forecasting in business and a sequence of development of this method based on innovation and expertise. We have further determined possible transitions between innovations which implies that technological advancement significantly facilitates growth. We have analyzed functional dependence of S-curve with the learning curve in identifying the zones with most potential growth, accelerated growth, and zone closest to asymptote.

The article deals with the process of reformation of mining industry and intense subsoil use, which requires constant improvement of legal support, rationalization and ecologization of subsoil use. The more intensely natural resources are used, the more carefully they should be exploited, especially, it concerns the nonrenewable resources: recently the world community has been lacking in nonrenewable natural resources. The author offers to consider the balanced use of natural resources as the state economic function including management and regulation of ecological and economic relations.

The paper presents internal marketing and talent management as key elements determining effective introduction of employer branding strategy. Nowadays tendencies to interdisciplinarity force organizations to search for concepts from different areas of science and combine them for most effective market performance. That is the reason for presentation of two aspects of employer branding – from HRM and marketing perspectives, in the paper. The paper is aimed at presentation and discussion of internal marketing and talent management as elements of overall strategy of organisation in the scope of its competitive advantage gaining.
