The study was conducted descriptively and aimed to determine the anthropometric profile of athletes from women's soccer team at UCPEL and the specific objective was the description of the anthropometric profile of athletes for positions, which were divided into: goalkeepers, fixed wings and pivots. The variables measured were age, height, weight, body fat percentage, body fat mass, lean body mass and BMI. The results were: overall mean age of 22.56 ± 3.77 years, median overall height of 1.64 ± 7.2 cm, mean weight of 61.98 kg ± 11.41 kg, average fat percentage of 19.79% ± 6.62%, overall mean fat body mass of 12.82 kg ± 7.35 kg, mean overall lean body mass of 49.16 kg ± 6.16 kg and overall average BMI of 22.77 kg / m² ± 3.43 kg / m². In the results according to the positions of the athletes it was revealed that the highest average body mass, BMI, body fat percentage and fat mass occurred in the category of goalkeepers. In contrast, the wards had the lowest results when evaluated under the same rates. And the highest average height was in the fixed category. From the description of the results, it is considered appropriate to indicate that the characterization of the anthropometric profile of athletes is an important tool for planning, monitoring and evaluating the training process, while respecting the limitations and reality for each team.
