This article explores the role of the churched youth in realization of out-cultic practices of contemporary Christian churches. The content of concepts «cultic practices» and «out-cultic practices» is exposed.
The author draws the results of her qualitative research. The target group of research is formed of young people – members of Volyn region Christian churches. The article is devoted to the analysis of the representations of Lviv citizens on functioning features of the youth non-government organizations in Lviv.
Based on the analysis of the in-depth interviews an expert portrait of the youth non-government organizations activities was formed, which further was compared to the citizens’ views about the activities of youth organizations in their city.
