Medicine courses have in their curricular guidelines a proposal for the implementation of teaching based on the community that the institution is inserted. The objective here is to know the profile of the teachers of the Tutorial Teaching of a medical course. This is a descriptive, quantitative, prospective study, carried out with the professor of the tutorial teaching module in the 2018.2 and 2019.1 semesters of the medical course of a public institution, with 50% of the teachers having between 5 and 10 years of teaching career. All were experienced with tutorial teaching. The majority (57%) found themselves for at least 2 years without capacitation aimed at tutorial teaching. The participating teachers were from the most diverse courses. The majority (57%) said they were close or very close to the local reality before tutorial teaching. Even after their insertion in tutorial teaching, 43% of the teachers reported little proximity. All teachers responded that they had reasonable knowledge about the topics discussed in tutoring. 29% considered little to follow the intervention step performed by students in tutorial teaching. 83% reported that learning about the topics discussed is considered reasonable. The most varied topics were covered in tutorial teaching: communicable and non-communicable diseases, parasitic diseases and, environmental and social problems.

This text aims to describe how deaf young people report the communicative process they experienced at home and at school with listener mothers/teachers. Three deaf young people, aged between 18 and 30, narrated their communicative experiences at home/school contexts, through video interviews recorded with the participation of a professional interpreter of LIBRAS (the Brazilian Sign Language). The results disclosed the non-acceptance of deafness at home/school environment, which was emphasized by the deaf people’s perceptions of constant expectations from mothers and teachers of hearing improvement and speech development. It was evidenced that the communicative processes experienced by the young interviewees were difficult and interfered in the academic development and in the relationships at home.

Introduction: PIMS means pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome. It describes a new health condition seen in children who were infected with new coronaviruses, recovered and later show an immune response that results in significant levels of inflammation in the organ systems and symptoms. Objective: To analyze scientific production on Systemic Pediatric Inflammatory Syndrome (PIMS) in relation to the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2. Method: The integrative literature review is the method employed for investigation. The following inclusion criteria were adopted: original article in English, available online and in full: year of publication in 2020, in the MEDLINE database, on the PubMed Search Engine. Articles that do not respond to the objective of the study will be excluded. The descriptors applied were: Coronavirus Infections, Syndrome, Child. Results: Five publications were included and categorized in “Scientific production on the correlation of Pediatric Inflammatory Syndrome with SARS-CoV-2”. It showed in the main results that in the analysis of the studies, four studies of children diagnosed with COVID-19 (recent or previous, with past history) developed the syndrome, and that one of the authors links SARS-CoV-2 with Kawasaki Disease (DK) with disagreement. Conclusion: SARS-CoV-2 is related to PIMS, regardless of the development of the syndrome, it can generate serious health complications for the child.

The stigmatizing attitudes, associated with individuals with mental illness, present in students and health workers are reproduced in health care, producing adversities, in addition to those already generated by the mental illness itself. One way to combat this social problem is to invest in professional education in anti-stigmatizing education. The objective of this article is to present an experience report of an intervention in the mental health discipline, of the technical course in nursing, consisting of the planning and implementation of a teaching practice, aimed at facing the stigma. This practice showed a reduction in stigma among nursing technical students and it was related to an organization of the discipline, with the inclusion of educational strategies that defend the psychosocial care model and that promote students' contact with cases of individuals with mental illness.

This paper aims to approach the essential conceptual elements on decentralization and respect for federative autonomy in Public Education and Health Policies in Brazil. Perceiving its concrete definitions in the indexed publications that started in the 1980s, it perpetuated itself with more openness to go away in 1990. With an explorative qualitative approach that focuses on enlargement according to the theory, providing hypotheses for sample conduction and space to be studied (DESLANDES; GOMES; MINAYO, 2009), being guided by the bibliographic review in the database of CAPES, IBICT, SIBI / UFPA, SciELO, Google and books. Both sectors (education and health) highlight an entanglement to promote strategic actions in public policies, with emphasis on the demands of the struggles of both political and sanitary reform movements. Interdisciplinary policies and their intersectoral dialectics require their joint implementation, which mobilizes a new strategic model of these public policies.

The school and the teacher play a fundamental role in welcoming students who experience situations of violation of the integrity of their lives, in cases of aggression and abuse that may occur. Research shows that the highest incidence of violence against children and adolescents often occurs in the family environment, believing it to be a way of educating or often reproducing what they also suffered. Therefore, the objectives of this article are to understand the role of the school and the teacher in caring for the child who suffers violation; raise the rates of violence in the city of Bertioga-SP; and, to verify if the teachers perceive alteration in the learning process of this child. The article was conducted with bibliographic and documentary survey, and field research with teachers in elementary schools 1 of the peripheral and central region, with CREAS, and with the Tutelary Council of Bertioga - SP. The data collected provided evidence that teachers understand this domestic violence and that school is one of the key places to receive the victim, but not all have the mastery of legal procedures that support children who suffer violence, but most admits that this situation interferes with school performance.

This study aimed to map indigenous children with signs of disabilities, born in Dourados/MS, between 2009 and 2014, and to evaluation visual impairment associated with cerebral palsy in the age group from zero to five years. The research was based on the ecology of human development and in ethnographic principles, relying on the active participation of family members in the application of the Functional Evaluation instruments of the Integrated Vision for Global Development, whose protocols were adapted to the language, culture and indigenous daily life. The mapping surveyed the number and birth conditions of indigenous children, as well as the location of five children with visual impairment and cerebral palsy. In turn, the evaluations of visual functioning and global development made it possible to identify the specific needs arising from the disability situation and reflect on strategies for early intervention, with a view to better learning opportunities in early childhood.

The Communication deals with teaching illness mediated by historical and dialectical materialism, a bibliographic review and methodology classified as a descriptive study and literature review. The material analyzed in the form of theses, dissertations and articles was accessed through the CAPES and SciELO databases, referring to the period from January/2016 to December/2018. There are also bibliographic data on works from related areas for the period from 2008 to 2016. With a quantitative approach and content analysis, categories and subcategories were identified that were related to the object and as result praiseworthy proposals for improving the quality of teaching life were proposed, however such actions are palliative and not punctual because they do not solve the problem in their founding bases. In the conclusions, it can be seen that actions to undermine this system that underlies the exploitation of one class over the other are necessary to reverse this illness.

First aid is the care provided to victims of any accident or sudden injury before the arrival of the doctor, ambulance or any qualified health professional. The objective of this study is to identify the physiotherapist's way of acting in first aid in sport. This is a bibliographic review, in which 2 books and 8 scientific articles obtained in the databases LILACS, MEDLINE and SciELO were used from January to March 2018. The results showed that the physiotherapist will act in the sports first aid by means of the PRICE method. However, it is necessary to carry out new studies that emphasize this topic, so that we can have a greater theoretical contribution. The majority of the analyzed studies reported the role of physiotherapy more oriented to preventive measures and rehabilitation.

The practice of physical activity generally brings numerous health benefits. For people with disabilities, the benefits are even greater in view of the need of each individual in particular. Strength, agility, balance, motor coordination, are some of them, as well as psychological and social aspects, such as improvement in self-esteem, motivation, confidence, health promotion and socialization. Increasingly, adapted sport has been accepted and expanded thanks to the good results achieved and, in this context, some modalities have been good options for people with disabilities. In order to know more about the activity and its benefits as a physical activity, it was verified that the CrossFit Adapted has provided experiences in several aspects, as reported in this text, through interviews with a practicing group. It is hoped that this modality will gain visibility and that new units of the modality will be created by the country to extend the experience to other people.

Objective: analyzing proposals to deal with problems and anguish experienced by graduate students in the light of the habits of empathy. Methods: a qualitative, exploratory research carried out with 15 graduate students in nursing of a Graduate Program in Nursing of a Public University in the south of Brazil. The data collection took place on October 2017, through a dynamic that aims to exercise the practice of empathy. Results: The analysis of the statements proceeded through Content Analysis and from it emerged three categories of analysis: Problems and anxieties experienced by nursing graduate students; Looks, perspectives and proposals and; A look at the problems and anxieties of peers: (mis)understandings, conflicts and debates. Final Considerations: predominated complaints related with lived experiences in the scope of Graduate Education. The proposals were mainly characterized as advice and empathy was exercised by few academics, so it is considered necessary to expand the theme in academic spaces.

The main reflections presented in the article relate to gender and identity issues in children's education in the school education perspective and the experience of the pedagogical professional in the way their subjectivity is produced. In this sense, the development of gender roles and the construction of identity are socially elaborated and learned from birth, based on social and cultural relations established from the first months of life, but it is at the beginning of education that the child begins to perceive the difference between the feminine and the masculine. Consequently, the article prioritizes a number of thematic issues, a process that is therefore plural, polemical and complex, in which daily educational and pedagogical practices incite theoretical questions and problems, at the same time, that new theories and social movements provoke or transform these pedagogical practices. The article brings a study of this subject and is constituted from different disciplinary positions, theoretical and some concepts of the question of gender and identity. It is important to emphasize that understanding these concepts makes it possible to identify the values attributed to men and women as well as the rules of behavior resulting from these values. With this, it is evident: the influence of these values and rules on the functioning of social institutions, such as school; the influence of a possibility that allows us to think about differences without turning them into inequalities, that is, without differences being starting points for discrimination.

This research presents a study about the children 's perception about some children' s characters, influenced by what is disclosed in the media, about the princesses and elements covered in the productions, both cinematographic and television, and even in other digital or even physical media. In the field investigation data were collected with the second and fifth year classes of Elementary School of a private college, located in the dependencies of a private Faculty in Resende, Rio de Janeiro. Based on the elements researched, it was evidenced the importance that these stories have, given the difference of views, according to the age of the participants, in which the most experienced have a different view regarding the heroines of children's stories, as opposed to the younger ones. The question of updating education professionals also emerged from the research, since society is constantly changing and it is necessary to construct other teaching skills to deal with the new.

Aims to discuss factors associated with the use of folic acid during gestation. A descriptive-reflective study with a theoretical basis elaborated from updated scientific articles. Despite the benefits of folic acid and, even if it is a worldwide recommendation, the prevalence of this supplement consumption is still unsatisfactory. Some studies have shown that women with unplanned pregnancies, lower schooling and socioeconomic status, without partners and with insufficient prenatal care are less likely to consume this supplement during gestation. Folic acid supplementation is an essential intervention, acting in the primary prevention of neural tube defects. Thus, public policies that further encourage maternal supplementation with folic acid are of great value, since they reduce neonatal morbidity and mortality. It is also necessary to plan actions that aim to minimize the action of the factors associated with the use of folic acid during gestation.

The Law of Education Guidelines and Bases (LDB) incorporated into the statutes and bylaws of higher education institutions the principle of inseparability between teaching, research and extension, legislated by the 1988 Constitution. Considered one of the pillars of higher education, extension plays a relevant role in the training of professionals. However, there is little work quantifying the impact of extension activities on the development process in training. To quantify and identify the impact of extension actions on the vocational training of undergraduate health courses. Method: exploratory, retrospective and quantitative field research. Students from the last semester of several health courses that performed extension activities answered questionnaires regarding achievement as well as academic performance (including domains of skill, knowledge, attitudes, values and ethical aspects). In addition, the contributions of extension in the training process as a person and professional were also evaluated. The group was mainly composed of young people, who had a job, and women. It was verified that most of the students reported improvement in academic achievement. It was found that in all domains, the average scores given by the group that reported improvement were significantly higher than the group that reported improvement in academic performance. Extension students mentioned that the actions contributed to the development of the relationship with the team and the public; as well as training to identify individual and collective needs; and awareness and reflection on the individual role in social transformation. It was found that the extension program positively impacted the academic achievement of extension students, as evidenced by the affirmation of the improvement in academic performance, the high average grades awarded by students in the quantitative questioning of the various domains and the description of students' positive perception of the effective contributions in their process and formative journey as a person and professional.

Educational games are very useful tools to help teaching in schools, especially for more complex content in which students have difficult to fix what they’ve learned. The health theme addressed in high school fits into the group of subjects difficult to fix by students, given the high number of names and characteristics to be learned, the use of the game "San San da Saúde" suggested as a different way of addressing the topic by making it more fun and friendly for students. It was observed that the students evaluated the results of the game, as a didactic instrument, in a very positive way, giving evidence that the learning was facilitated with its use, mainly due to how this instrument was used.

This is a retrospective qualitative study that used interviews with two mothers who had Zika virus confirmed during pregnancy and whose children were born with microcephaly, during the epidemic period. This is a review of the literature, using different databases and descriptors, "HPV", "teenagers", "young" and "nursing", in order to know the main causes of vulnerability to HPV infection in young people and adolescents as well as the nursing actions that favor the prevention of contamination by this virus. It was possible to show that the young population has riskier sexual behaviors, leaving them vulnerable to HPV infection, and this suggests that the nurse needs to be able to provide comprehensive and continuous care to the young people and adolescents, identifying risk situations, developing educational and preventive actions together with the family and community, aiming at improving the sexual and reproductive health of this age group.
