The article focuses on the analysis of priority vectors for the Ukrainian state-owned banks development. The purpose of the study is to summarise and substantiate perspective development vectors of the domestic state-owned banks, taking into account the peculiarities of their activities in modern Ukraine. The research is based on the following general scientific methods: analysis, structuring, comparison, grouping, generalization, systematization. The article presents the author’s vision of the main strategic vectors for domestic state-owned banks development; the emphasis is placed on singling out the vectors for improving the activities of the state-owned banks, i.e. privatization (measures aimed at reducing the state property share in the banks), corporate governance (measures aimed at reforming the corporate governance system in the banks), and problem assets (measures aimed at resolving the imbalance issues in the banks’ assets structure). At the same time, the paper outlines the productive measures aimed at efficient improvement of the domestic state-owned banks development. The obtained results allow to work out the comprehensive concept of the further development in the state banking sector of the Ukrainian economy system; apart from this, the results can be applied to practical activities of the domestic state-owned banks.

The deterioration in the health of the working-age population of Ukraine is associated with the chemical safety of working conditions. The negative outlook for the expected socioeconomic consequences of such an impact is real. The article shows and analyzes the current state of health of workers of industrial enterprises of Ukraine. Environmental risks to the health of workers required to assess the level of chemical safety are described on the basis of practical experience and the results of socio-environmental monitoring. Factors influencing the timely identification of occupational pathologies and the prediction of their development in the future are justified. Identifying the specific nature of the chemical exposure of workers simultaneously with the implementation of control measures is the way to prevent (decrease) the level of negative exposure.

The purpose of the process of training of border guards is the formation of professional competence, which results in the selection and appointment of the personnel to the positions in the border guard authorities. The method of rational selection of personnel for performing professional functions consists of several stages: formation of a set of admissible decisions; search for criterion correspondences between the requirements for the position and the level of training; search for a final solution to a multicriterial task. The theoretical significance of the methodology is that on the basis of the integrated application of theories of graphs, dichotomies, and methods of mathematical programming, a method for selecting specialists for participation in joint border guard operations of the European Union countries has been developed.

The results of a theoretical analysis of the effectiveness of psychotherapeutic work with psychosomatic disorders with patients of middle and older age are presented. The method of Katathym-imaginative psychotherapy (symboldrama) as one of the most effective in working with psychosomatic disorders has been studied. Practical application of the Katathym-imaginative psychotherapy (symboldrama) method in work with patients with insomnia disorders of inorganic nature has been implemented. A positive trend was recorded in the process of individual psychotherapeutic work, the result of which is the partial or complete elimination of signs of insomnia in patients of the control group.
