The article examines some aspects, concerning the infusion of officialdom of the former Getmanshchina into bureaucratic space of the Russian Empire in the second half of the ХVІІІ century. One of the major reasons of the integration easiness is the comparatively high educational level of local elite in the mentioned region, as they held main bulk of positions in the newly created administration. Special attention is attached to the transfer from local tradition of promotion in rank to the imperial standard system.

Commemorative coins are one of the attributes of the modern Olympic movement, relating to the category of «Games Product». Monetary program “Sochi 2014”, realized since 2011 is one of the most extensive and design diversified. The tradition to stamp out coins in the host city of the Olympic Games was established in Ancient Greece. They served not only as a means of exchange or as a store of value, ancient Greeks managed to make them works of art. Ancient authors’ data, concerning coinage site, time and type don’t give an accurate account of the coins we can reasonably call the “Olympic” ones. This problem has been solved by numismatologists from late XVIII century through the present. Their views of ancient “monetary program” differ. This article is focused on the special character of these discrepancies both in historical records and historiography.

The author, using the data of pre-revolutionary technical schools, traces the genesis and trends of educational excursions development in the Russian Empire. Special attention is attached to the types, organizational forms and methods of excursion activities, educational policy, concerning its development. The article presents author’s classification of educational excursions, notes that educational excursions have become traditional and were operated systematically by the early XX century. Field excursions, which in fact displaced introductive training, prevailed in technical schools.

The article, basing on the analysis of the archive published and unpublished data, books of condolence, witnesses’ recollections, presents extended characteristics of mass compulsory expulsions from the Soviet Far East, realized in order to “houseclean” as a preventive security measure. Such acts were not ethnical in nature. Their aim was to grant region the status of secure territory and introduce passport limitations. Three campaigns, involving not less than 150 thousand people in total: 1) population passportization (1933–1934); 2) expulsion of families of the victims of Bolshoi Terror (1937–1939), 3) expulsion of the so-called «insecure» population of the Primorsky Region (1939) was analyzed. The author concludes that they had the form of Stalin’s mass deportations, aimed at the formation of discriminated social groups.

Author consider the socio-political situation in the Tomsk scientific-educational complex, defined the role of party organizations of universities, research institutes, the city and region in the research and teaching activities of physicists.
