Özet: Zihin yönetimi Antoine de La Garanderie’nin araştırmalarıyla gündeme gelen bir eğitim yaklaşımıdır. Bu yaklaşımın amacı kişinin kendi zihinsel işlev ve süreçlerinin farkına varmasını, bunları geliştirerek etkili kullanmasıdır. Eğitim ve günlük çalışmalarda bireyin zihnini iyi yönetmesi ve başarılı olması hedeflenmektedir. Zihni iyi yönetmek için beş işlem ve süreç üzerinde durulmaktadır. Bunlar dikkat, hatırlama, anlama, düşünme, hayal etme ile ilgili zihinsel işlem ve süreçler olmaktadır. Bunları düzenleme, geliştirme ve etkili kullanma zihni iyi yönetmenin temelini oluşturmaktadır. Bu becerileri geliştirmek için düzenli eğitim yapılması gerekmektedir. Eğitim sürecinde öğrencilere zihinlerinin çalışma biçimini öğrenmeleri ve daha etkili çalıştırma yollarını keşfetmeleri için gerekli bilgiler, beceriler, yöntem ve teknikler öğretilmektedir. Zihnini tanıma, becerileri geliştirme ve zihinsel bağımsızlığa ulaşma gibi üç aşamada yürütülen eğitim çalışmaları çoğu ülkede öğretmen ve öğrencilere verilmektedir. Son yıllarda yönetici ve liderlere de verildiği ve etkili olduğu görülmektedir. The aim of this approach is to create awareness in individuals on their own mental activities and processes and to make them develop and use them effectively. Educational studies aims at helping individuals manage their minds well and be successful. There are five activities and processes to manage mind well. These are: attention, retrieval, comprehension, thinking and imagining. Organizing, improving and using them efficiently constitute the basis of mental management. In order to develop these skills, it is necessary to provide systematic education. Necessary knowledge, skills, methods and techniques are taught students in order to help them learn how their minds work and to help them discover the ways to work their minds more efficiently in the education process. Carried out in three steps, which are getting to know the mind, developing skills and attaining mental independence, this training is provided for teachers and students in many countries. Özet: Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin örgütsel sinizm ve örgütsel sessizlik hakkındaki görüşlerinin neler olduğunu, bu görüşlerin, cinsiyete, kıdem ve kurumdaki çalışma süresi değişkenlerine göre değişip değişmediği, son olarak da öğretmenlerin örgütsel sinizm, örgütsel sessizlik ve örgütsel sessizliğin alt boyutları arasındaki görüşleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Araştırma kapsamında Bolu ilinde taşımalı eğitim- öğretim yapan 10 ortaokulda görevli 90 öğretmene örgütsel sinizm ve örgütsel sessizlik ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde, yüzde, frekans, ortalama, standart sapma, t-testi, Kruskal Wallis ve korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre; öğretmenlerin örgütsel sinizm ve sessizlik düzeyleri ile cinsiyet, kıdem ve kurumda çalışma süresi değişkenleri arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır. Öğretmenlerin örgütsel sinizm düzeyleri ile örgütsel sessizliğin alt boyutlarından olan okul ortamı, sessizliğin kaynağı ve izolasyon boyutu arasında orta düzeyde pozitif ilişki olduğu görülmektedir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Örgütsel Sinizm, Örgütsel Sessizlik, Öğretmen Abstract: The aim of this research is to identify what the teacher’s perceptions are on organizational cynicism (OC) and organizational silence (OS) and whether these views change according to gender, years of experience and years of office in organization. Also it’s tired to define if there is meaningful relation between teachers’ views on OC, OS and its sub-dimensions. Within the scope of this study, OC and OS scale were applied to 90 teachers working in 10 different transportational teaching schools in Bolu. In the analysis of researchfindings, percentage, frequency, avarage, Standard deviation, t-test, Kruskal Wallis and correlation analysis were used. According to the findings of the research; there is not a significant difference between the teacher’s levels of OC, OS and gender, years of experience and years of office in organization. However, it’s found that there is avarage positive relation between OC level of teachers and school environment, source of OS and isolation. Özet: Çalışmada Osmanlı Devleti’nin son dönemlerinde kızların eğitiminde okulun ifade ettiği anlam araştırılmıştır. Bu çalışma nitel bir desene sahip olup dönemin kaynakları ve özellikle kız okullarında okutulan ders kitapları, doküman analizine göre incelenmiştir. Genel olarak okul büyük bir aile olarak görülmüştür. Okul, kızlara kalp ve akıl gözünü açarak yaradanını, dünyasını, vatanını, ailesini, nefsini ve her şeyi ona gösteren bir yer olarak ifade edilmiştir. Kızların okul sayesinde fazîlet, marifet sahibi olduğuna, dünyayı anlayabildiğine ve dinini öğrenebildiğine inanılmaktadır. Bununla beraber, insanlara öğrenmek istediği şeylerden bahseden kitabları okumak zevkini veren, birbirlerine karşı görev ve sorumlulukları öğreten ve bilim hayatının ilk tecrübe meydanı olarak görülmektedir. Bu nedenle burada geçen kıymetli zamanı israf etmeden bir kızın okula devama dikkat etmesi beklenmektedir. Okuldan kaçmak kötü bir hareket olarak algılanmakta ve okul kurallarına uymanın, öğretmenlere saygı gösterilmesinin ise zaruri olduğu dile getirilmektedir. Sonuç olarak okul, o dönemde kızlar için tam bir insan olmanın öğrenildiği bir mekân olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Osmanlı Devleti, okul, kızların eğitimi, rüşdiye, ibtidai. Abstract: In this study, the meaning of school in girls’ education in the last years of Ottoman Empire was researched. This study has a qualitative design and it is based on document analysis of the era’s documents and especially textbooks of girls schools used in that era. Generally, school was accepted to be a big family. Schools were explained to be places where girls’ hearts and minds were opened and creator, world, homeland, family, desires and everything were shown to them. It was believed that girls gain virtue and skills by schools and they could understand the world and religion. Besides this, schools were believed to be places which give students the opportunity to read books which give information about what they want to learn, teach their duties and responsibilities and give them the opportunity to experience science life for the first time. This is why; girls were expected to be careful about continuing their education without wasting precious time spent in schools. Skipping school was thought to be a bad behavior; it was told that it is necessary to obey school rules and respect teachers. Özet: Bu araştırmada öğrencilerin matematik öğrenme yaklaşımlarını geçerli ve güvenilir olarak ölçmeye olanak tanıyacak bir ölçme aracının geliştirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma, 2012-2013 Eğitim Öğretim Yılı Bahar Dönemi’nde Batman il merkezinde toplam 416 lise öğrencisi üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada ölçeğin kapsam ve görünüş geçerliği için uzman görüşüne başvurulmuş, yapı geçerliği için Açımlayıcı Faktör Analizi (AFA) ve Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) uygulanmıştır. AFA sonucunda toplam varyansın %32.99’unu açıklayan, 21 madde ve iki faktörden oluşan bir yapı elde edilmiştir. Ortaya çıkan faktörler; Derin Öğrenme Yaklaşımı ve Yüzeysel Öğrenme Yaklaşımı olarak adlandırılmıştır. DFA’dan elde edilen bulgular, Matematik Öğrenme Yaklaşımları Ölçeğine (MÖYÖ) ilişkin 21 madde ve iki faktörlü yapının yeterli uyum indekslerine sahip olduğunu göstermiştir. Derin ve yüzeysel öğrenme yaklaşımı alt ölçeklerinin güvenirliği iç tutarlılık, test yarılama ve bileşik güvenirlik yöntemleri ile incelenmiş ve hesaplanan güvenirlik katsayılarının kabul edilebilir sınırlar içerisinde yer aldığı saptanmıştır. Ölçekteki maddelerin ayırt ediciliğini belirlemek amacıyla düzeltilmiş madde toplam korelasyonu ile %27’lik alt-üst grup karşılaştırmalarına yer verilmiştir. Madde analizinden elde edilen bulgular, ölçekte yer alan maddelerin tamamının ayırt edici olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu bulgulara dayanarak, ölçeğin öğrencilerin matematik öğrenme yaklaşımlarını ölçmek amacıyla kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu söylenebilir. The participants were 416 high school students studying in Batman in 2012-2013 Education Year Spring Semester. Expert opinion was consulted with regard to the scale's content and face validity. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were performed in order to measure the scale's construct validity. As a result of EFA, a 21-item and a two-factor structure, which explains 32.99% of the total variance was obtained. The emerging factors were named Deep Learning Approach and Surface Learning Approach. The findings obtained CFA indicated that the 21 items and two-factor structure related to mathematics learning approaches scale have satisfactory goodness of fit indices. The scale's reliability coefficients were calculated by means of internal consistency, split half and composite reliability methods. As a result of reliability analysis, it was determined that reliability coefficients were within acceptable limits. The findings of the item analyses showed that all of the items in the scale were discriminatory. In light of these findings it could be argued that the scale is reliable and valid and can be used in order to test students' mathematics learning approaches. Abstract: The study conducted aimed at determining the goodness of fit between the lower secondary education 3rd grade Curriculum for English Language in Turkey and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages that was composed by the Council of Europe to encourage other languages except for the mother tongue to be spoken and to bring foreign language instruction into conformity with some standards. The study was done in the light of significance Turkey attributes to foreign language education in the scope of harmonization efforts with the European Union and was qualitative. In the research where "the Document Review" technique was used, the Curriculum and Common European Framework of Reference for Languages were compared and contrasted in terms of objectives, content, learning and teaching process and evaluation strategies. At the end of the research, the following results were obtained: The goals of Turkish National Education and Common European Framework of Reference for Languages had a similarity at 92 percent even though the language skills were not handled on an equal basis in the Curriculum. Among all the language competences, Waystage (A2) Level was the most referenced one in the Curriculum. A1 and B1 levels were less dealt with when compared to Waystage Level. Overall Oral Production was the language competence represented with most descriptors in the Curriculum. All the assessment tools in the Curriculum were taken from the European Language Portfolio. Özet: Avrupa’da ana dil dışında diğer dillerin de konuşulmasını özendirmek ve yabancı dil öğretiminde belli noktalarda bir standardı yakalamak amacıyla Avrupa Konseyi tarafından ortaya çıkarılan Avrupa Diller için Ortak Başvuru Metni ve Türkiye’nin Avrupa Birliği’yle uyum çalışmaları kapsamında Avrupa Konseyi’nin yabancı dile verdiği önem ışığında Ortaokul 3. Sınıf (İlköğretim 7. Sınıf) İngilizce Öğretim Programı’nın arasındaki uygunluk düzeyini belirlemeye yönelik olarak hazırlanan bu çalışma nitel bir çalışmadır. Doküman İncelemesi tekniğinin kullanıldığı araştırmada programın kazanımlar, içerik, eğitim durumları ve sınama durumları yönleri benzerlik ve farklılıklar bakımından karşılaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda aşağıdaki sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır: Türk Milli Eğitimi genel amaçları ile OBM genel amaçları arasında %92 oranında uyuşma olduğu bulunmasına karşın dil becerileri İngilizce Öğretim Programı’nda eşit oranda ele alınmamıştır. Tüm dil becerileri arasında A2 düzeyi en çok değinilen düzey olmuştur. A2 ile karşılaştırıldığında, A1 ve B1 düzeylerine az değinilmiştir. Sözel üretim becerisi, öğretim programında en çok betimleyici ile temsil edilen dil yeteneği kategorisi olmuştur. Özet: “Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu Olarak Medreseler” konulu bu çalışmada; varlıklarını sürdürdükleri dönemlerde medreselerin, eğitim öğretimindeki yeri ve önemi ortaya konulmaya çalışılırken, Medreselerin ilk ortaya çıkışlarından başlanarak görüldükleri son devir olan Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun sonuna kadarki süreçte medreselerin teşkilatlanması ve eğitim-öğretim yapılanması ele alınmıştır. Devamında ise medreselerin sosyal boyutları da göz önünde bulundurularak bu teşkilatlanma ve eğitim-öğretim yapılanmasının icra ettiği fonksiyonlara değinilmiştir. Özet: Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaöğretim kurumlarına giriş sınavlarında (LGS, OKS ve SBS) Fen ve Teknoloji/Fen Bilgisi dersinden yöneltilen sorulardaki gösterim türleri ve bu gösterim türleri arasındaki geçişleri incelemektir. Çalışma kapsamında doküman analizi yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri olarak 1998-2012 yıllarında yapılan ortaöğretim kurumlarına giriş sınavlarında (LGS, OKS ve SBS) sorulan 475 çoktan seçmeli soru dikkate alınmıştır. Soruların analizinde öncelikle öğrenme alanlarındaki grafik, eşitlik, metin, sembol, şekil ve tablo gösterim türleri arasındaki geçişlerin dağılımları incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak; ek çok kullanılan gösterim türünün şekil olduğu ve gösterim türleri arasındaki geçişte en sık görülen geçişin şekilden diğer gösterim türlerine olduğunu tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde, merkezi olarak düzenlenen sınavlarda yöneltilen soruların, gösterim türleri arasındaki geçişin daha çok dikkate alınarak hazırlanması gerektiği düşünülebilir. The study was conducted with document analysis method. A total of 475 questions asked in the examinations (from 1998 to 2012) were taken into consideration. The data analysis included determining firstly the distribution of the representation types including graphics, equations, text, symbols, figures and tables, and then the transitions between these representations. As a result, figures were the most seen representation type, and the most common transition was from figures to the other representation types. In this manner, the questions placed in assessments should take into account transitions between different types of representations more. Özet: Fatma Âliye Hanım’ın Muhâdârât adlı romanında kadının eğitimine dair bulguları değerlendiren bu çalışma, yazarın hayatı ve eserlerinden hareketle, romanın kaleme alındığı dönemde kadının eğitimine dair fikirlerin esere yansımalarını ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bir sanat eseri olarak romanın aynı zamanda sosyal bir yansıma olması, Fatma Âliye Hanım’ın Türk Edebiyatının ilk kadın yazarları arasında yer alması, yazarın farklı eserlerinde dile getirdiği fikirleri ve yaşam öyküsü ile eser arasındaki koşutlukların açıklığı, eserde kadının eğitimine dair görüşlerin ideal bir tip olan Fâzıla’da her yönü ile anlatılması incelenen roman ve konunun seçiminde etkili olmuştur. Çalışmanın sonucunda eğitimin romandaki ve devrin düşünce dünyasındaki yansımaları yorumlanmıştır. Çalışma sırasında Osmanlı Devleti’nde kadının eğitimi, Fatma Âliye Hanım’ın hayatı ve eserleri gözden geçirilmiş ayrıca yazar ve konu hakkındaki önceki çalışmalardan yararlanılmıştır. Kadının eğitimine dair bulgular romandaki olay ve kişiler merkez alınarak, ilaveten yazarın hayatı, dönemin zihniyeti ve gerçekleri göz önünde bulundurularak değerlendirilmiştir. Abstract: This study evaluating the findings of woman’s education in Ms. Fatma Aliye’s novel named Muhâdârât, based on author’s life and works, aims to present reflections of period’s thoughts about women’s education in the novel. Besides novel as a work of art, it is a reflection of social. Ms. Fatma Aliye was among the authors of the first woman writers of the Turkish literature. The ideas expressed in the different works of the author and with the gap between biography and the work’s parallelism, and the novel was examined in every aspect of views about the woman’s education described by the ideal type Fazıla, had an effect on choosing the topic. During study, women's education in the Ottoman Empire, life and works of Ms. Fatma Aliye were overviewed furthermore benefited from previous studies about the author and the topic. It was evaluated considering findings about woman’s education according to characters and events from the novel as well as author’s life and the mentality and facts of the period. Özet: Osmanlı Türkçesi Dersi, ilk defa 2003-2004 öğretim yılında faaliyete başlayan sosyal bilimler liselerinde, kuruluş tarihinden bu yana okutulmakla birlikte söz konusu dersin öğretim programı MEB Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu Başkanlığının 12.09.2011 tarih ve 139 sayılı kararıyla uygulamaya konmuştur. Yürürlükteki programa göre Osmanlı Türkçesi dersleri zorunlu olup 10, 11 ve 12. sınıflarda haftada 2’şer saat olarak uygulanmaktadır. Bu bildiride, adı geçen sınıflarda okutulan Osmanlı Türkçesi dersine ilişkin uygulamalar, öğretim programının genel amaçları doğrultusunda öğrenci görüşlerine dayalı olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Çalışma, Ankara Mehmet Kaplan Sosyal Bilimler Lisesinde öğrenim görmekte olan 10 ve 11. sınıf düzeyindeki öğrencilerle görüşme yöntemine dayalı olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bunun için gerek önceden belirlenmiş sorulara cevap alınması gerekse öğrencilerin dikkat çekmek istedikleri hususları belirtmelerine imkân vermesi açısında yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler öğretim programının uygulanışına ilişkin olarak “Osmanlı Türkçesi ile yazılmış farklı güçlük düzeyindeki metinleri okuyabilme, anlamlandırabilme, söz varlığını geliştirme, Osmanlı Türkçesi etrafında gelişen kültürü tanıma, Osmanlı Türkçesi ile yazılmış eserleri koruma konusunda duyarlılık kazanma, alana özgü çalışmalarda Osmanlı Türkçesi ile yazılmış eserlerden yararlanma” amaçlarının gerçekleşmesi bakımından değerlendirilmiştir. The curriculum of Ottoman Turkish was put into practice with the 12.09.2011 dated and 139 numbered sentence of Board of Education. According to this sentence the 2 hours Ottoman Turkish courses are compulsory at 10 ,11th grades. This study deals with the current implementation of Ottoman Turkish courses on the basis of students’ opinions. The research was carried out in Ankara Mehmet Kaplan High School of Social Sciences. The semi-structured interview method was used. The data was evaluated under the following sections: reading and comprehending the Ottoman Turkish texts, developing vocabulary, realization of cultural components of Ottoman Turkish, gaining sensitivity in preserving Ottoman Turkish heritage, using Ottoman Turkish texts for academic or occupational purposes. Özet: Bu araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının okumaya ilişkin algılarının incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını Artvin Çoruh Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Bölümü Sınıf Öğretmenliği Programı’nda öğrenim gören 56 öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışma bir durumu betimleme amacı taşıdığı için nitel araştırma yöntemi benimsenerek gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının okumaya ilişkin algıları açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formuyla toplanan verilere dayalı olarak betimlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Sorulan açık uçlu sorularla öğretmen adaylarının kitap okuma alışkanlığına sahip olma durumları, okuma deneyimleri, ilk ve ortaöğretimdeki okuma çalışmalarına ilişkin algıları, okuma becerileri bakımından kendilerini ne kadar başarılı saydıkları, okumayı sevmedikleri tür ve konular, kitap okumalarını engelleyen temel nedenlere ilişkin görüşleri ve okurken yaşadıkları temel sıkıntılar tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda okuma becerisinin gelişimini sağlamaya yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur. The participants of the research is composed of 56 Artvin Çoruh University Education Faculty Primary Education intern Teachers. Since the current study has the aim of description, it has been studied by internalizing qualitative research method. Reading perceptions of primary school interns’ were tried to be described with respect to data of semi constructive interview form which included open ended questions. It has been tried to determine the reading habits of intern teachers, their reading experiences, their perceptions of primary and secondary education reading studies, thoughts of their ability to read, the topics and types which they like to read, basic reasons of preventing their reading activity and their ideas of the reasons and the basic problems during the reading process by open ended questions. Özet: Bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerindeki hızlı gelişmeler her gün yeni bir ürünle tanışmamızı sağlamaktadır. Kullanıcıların ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak üzere tasarlanan bu ürünler, bir taraftan İnsanların yaşamlarını kolaylaştırmakta bir taraftan da günlük kullanımdaki araçların eskimesine neden olmaktadır. Bu süreçte bilgisayarların önemi giderek artmakta, günün her dakikasında ulaşılabilen araçlar haline gelmektedir. Böylece insanlar günlük yaşamdaki çeşitli işleri bilgisayarla gerçekleştirmektedir. Müzik dinleme, film seyretme, fotoğraf çekmegibi birçok işlem farklı araç gerece ihtiyaç duyulmadan bilgisayarla yürütülmektedir. Kitap okuma da bu işlemlerden biri olmaktadır. Kitap okuma alışkanlığı kağıt kitaptan elektronik kitaba doğru ilerlemektedir. Bu amaçla geliştirilen elektronik kitaplar her yerde kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Ülkemizde Fatih projesiylebirlikte öğrenciler e-kitaplarla tanışmışlardır. Elektronik kitaplar öğrenciye çeşitli yararlar sunmaktadır. Bunlar güncelleme, taşınabilme, basım, dağıtım, erişim ve arşivleme kolaylığı ile e-kitap okumak için kullanılan yazılımların sağladığı metinsel işlemleri yapabilme ile çoklu ortam desteği olmaktadır. Bunun yanında bazı alışkanlıklar, okuma zorluğu, farklı konularda ve yeterli sayıda e-kitap olmaması, e-kitap okumada yardımcı ekipmana ihtiyaç duyulması, bireylerin teknolojik araçları ve yazılımları kullanmadaki beceri yetersizlikleri ve uygun hazırlanmayan e-kitaplar da kullanımı sınırlandırmaktadır. Bu çalışmada e-kitapların eğitim ortamında kullanılmasına ilişkin bazı araştırmalardan elde edilen sonuçlarınbir değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Abstract: The rapid developments in information and communication technologies to meet every day provide us with a new product. These products, designed to meet the needs of users, on the one hand facilitate people's lives, on the one hand causes aging of vehicles in daily use. In this process the increasing importance of computers, those are becoming accessible tools every minute of the day. So people perform various tasks in daily life with a computer. The many different processes such as listening to music, watching films, photographing has become done with computers without the need for tools. One of these processes is reading a book. Habit of reading abook is moving towards electronic books than paper books. Electronic books, developed for this purpose, have been used in everywhere. In our country, with the Fatih Project students are acquainted with e-books. Electronic books offer several benefits to students. Ease of update, can be moved, printing, distribution, access and archiving, and provided by the software used to read e-books to make the textual operations and multi-media support are the advantages of e-books. Moreover, some habits, reading difficulties, lack of different issues and a sufficient number of e-books, the auxiliary equipment is neededfor e-book reading, the lack of skills of individuals to use of technological tools and software and the not proper preparation of e- books are limits the use of e- books. In this study, some research results obtained from relates to the use of e-books in an educational environment, was evaluated. Özet: Görsel okuma; dinleme, konuşma, okuma, yazma gibi dilin öğrenme alanlarından biridir. Çoğu ülkenin dil öğretim programlarında ayrı bir alan olarak ele alınmakta ve öğrencilere kazandırılacak beceriler arasında sıralanmaktadır. Eğitim sürecinde ise çeşitli yaklaşımlar uygulanmaktadır. Dünyamızda uygulanan yaklaşımlar genel olarak “davranışçı, bilişsel ve yapılandırıcı” olmak üzere üç ana grupta toplanmaktadır. Eski yaklaşımlar görsel okuma eğitiminde görselleri tanıma ve anlamlandırma çalışmalarına önem veriyordu. Günümüz yaklaşımları ise görsellerin algısal, zihinsel ve duygusal etkilerine odaklanmakta, öğrencilerin çeşitli becerilerini geliştirmek için görsel okumadan yararlanmaktadır. Görsel okuma eğitiminde öğrencilere önce bakış eğitimi verilmekte, ardından görsel kodları keşfetme, tanıma, anlama, görseller hakkında hissedilenleri paylaşma, hayal gücünü zenginleştirme ve yaratıcılık becerilerini geliştirme çalışmaları yapılmaktadır. Görsel okuma etkinlikleriyle öğrencilerin kendilerini yazılı ve sözlü ifade etmeleri, anlama ve sorgulama becerilerini geliştirmeleri, kültür ve çevrelerine ilişkin bilgileri öğrenmeleri amaçlanmaktadır. Bu konuda ülkemizde de önemli gelişmeler olmuş, görsel okuma eğitimi 2005 Türkçe 1-5.Sınıflar Öğretim Programında ilk kez ayrı bir alan olarak ele alınmış, öğrencilere kazandırılacak beceriler sıralanmıştır. Görsel okuma eğitiminde ise yapılandırıcı yaklaşım benimsenmiş, öğrencilerin görsel okuma becerilerini geliştirmek için programda çeşitli kazanım, etkinlik, görev ve projeler önerilmiştir. Böylece ülkemizde de görsel okuma eğitimi aracılığıyla öğrencilerin dil, zihinsel, duygusal ve sosyal becerileri geliştirilmeye çalışılmaktadır. It is addressed as a separate domain in many countries’ language education programs and the skills to be cultivated in students are listed. In the period of education, on the other hand, there are various approached used. The approaches used around the world can be broadly grouped under three main topics, which are “behavioral, cognitive and constructivist approaches”. Old approaches put emphasis on recognizing and interpreting visuals in visual reading education. Today’s approaches, however, focuses on the receptive, cognitive and affective impacts of the visuals and utilize visual reading to develop multiple skills of students. In teaching visual reading, students are first trained for perspective, and then for discovering visual codes, recognizing, understanding, sharing what is felt about the visuals, enriching imagination and developing creativity skills. The aim of visual reading is to develop students’ skills of expressing themselves both written and orally as well as their understanding and questioning skills and to help them learn about culture and their environment. There have also been significant developments in this field in our country and for the first time, visual reading was classified as a separate domain in 1-5th graders Turkish Teaching Program in 2005 and the skills to be cultivated in students were listed. Constructivist approach is adopted in visual reading education; and multiple acquisitions, activities, assignments and projects are suggested in the program in order to develop visual reading. Thereby, the aim is to develop the language, cognitive, affective and social skills of the students in our country through visual reading skills. Özet: Değişimin hızlı bir biçimde yaşandığı ve bütün dünya toplumlarını etkilediği içinde yaşadığımız uzay çağında yabancı dil öğretim/öğreniminde de öncelikli değerlerde farklılaşmalar gözlemlenmektedir. Artık günümüzde herhangi bir yabancı dilde sözel anlama ve anlatım becerilerinin geliştirilmesi ve etkin kullanımı dilin diğer birimlerinin öğretiminin önüne geçmiştir. Doğal olmayan ortamlarda erken yaşta yabancı dil öğretimi toplumun bu yöndeki beklentilerine kesin bir çözüm olmamakla birlikte söz konusu literatür, çocukların gerek doğal ortamlarda gerekse öğretimin okullarda gerçekleştirildiği doğal olmayan ortamlarda yabancı dilde sözel anlama ve anlatım becerilerini geliştirme ve sonraki dönemlerde etkin olarak kullanmada gençlerden ve yetişkinlerden daha başarılı oldukları sonucunu ortaya koymaktadır. Biz bu çalışmamızda yabancı dil öğretiminin uygulandığı ilköğretimin ilk sınıflarında öğrenenlerin sözel anlama ve anlatım becerilerini geliştirmek için ne tür uygulamaların yapıldığını ve dilin bu alanının öğretiminde yaşanan sorunları tespit etmeyi hedefledik. Bu amaçla ilgili sınıf yabancı dil öğretmenlerine 3 açık uçlu sorudan oluşan bir anket uygulayarak elde edilen verileri betimsel (descriptif) yaklaşımla analiz ettik. Okulda erken yaşta yabancı dil öğretiminde sözel becerilerin geliştirilmesine yönelik etkinliklerin uygulamada yetersiz kaldığını saptamaktayız. Bu yetersizliğin en önemli nedenleri arasında sosyo-kültürel koşullar, yabancı dil öğretmenlerinin sözlü dili sınıf içerisinde yeterli düzeyde kullanmamaları ve teknolojik donanım eksikliği sıralanabilir. Nowadays, the effective use of oral language skills has surpassed the other language skills. Even if foreign language teaching in early childhood in non-natural environments is not a definitive solution to society's expectations, the literature prove that children are more successful than the young people and adults in improving the oral language skills of a foreign language and in using effective subsequently in natural environments and non-natural environments such as schools. In this study, we aimed to identify what kind of applications are implemented for improving the learners' oral comprehension and expression skills and problems encountered in foreign language teaching in the first classes of primary school. For this purpose, we have analyzed data obtained via a questionnaire consisting of three open-ended questions for foreign language teachers of the relevant class by descriptive (descriptif) approach. We determined that activities intended for the development of verbal skills in the foreign language teaching in early childhood in school are inadequate in practice. Socio-cultural conditions, teachers’ using oral language in the classroom inadequately and the lack of technological equipment can be cited between the most important reasons of this failure. Bu çalışmanın amacı, dönemin eğitim sorunlarının esere yansımalarını tespit ederek bu sorunların Mustafa İnan’ın hayatındaki yerini betimlemek ve Mustafa İnan’ın hocalığından hareketle bilim adamının taşıması gereken özellikleri belirlemektir. Bir Bilim Adamının Romanı, Mustafa İnan’ın yaşadığı ve yazıldığı dönemde özellikle üniversite eğitiminde meydana gelen değişiklikleri bire bir yansıtır. In this study it is concluded thatnew universities should not be established unless necessary preparations aremade,turning the existing schools into universities cannot transform academic life and changing the school names does not improve the mentality of scientific studies; it is also concluded that in addition to making publications and carrying outscientific studies, scientists have the task of raising new scientists after themselves. Özet: Bu makalede, bir yetişkin öğrenme yaklaşımı olarak dönüştürücü öğrenme teorisinin din eğitimine yansımaları tartışılmaktadır. Yetişkinler arasında eleştirel düşünme becerilerinin geliştirilmesi ile başlayan dönüştürücü öğrenme süreci, bireylerin çevresindeki olay, olgu ve durumları anlama yetenekleri çerçevesinde değerlendirmesini içermektedir. Jack Mezirow tarafından seküler bir eğitim ortamında geliştirilen bu teori, birçok din eğitimcisi tarafından eleştirilmesine rağmen, yetişkin öğrenmesini anlamada yardımcı bir yaklaşım olarak uygun görülmüştür. Makalede farklı yetişkin öğrenme teorilerine değinildikten sonra dönüştürücü öğrenme yaklaşımının din eğitimi ile ilgili bazı getirileri değerlendirilmiştir. Beginning with developing critical thinking skills among adults, the process of transformative learning included that the evaluations of adults surrounding events, facts and situations by using meaning abilities. Developed by Jack Mezirow in secular educational contexts, this perspective has been critiqued and appropriated by many religious educators as a helpful approach to understand adult learning. After stated different adult learning theories in the article, it has been evaluated some implications of the transformative learning approach in religious education. Özet: Çalışmanın amacı, farklı matematiksel modelleme süreci yaklaşımlarını ele alarak, çalışmalardaki modelleme süreçlerinin aralarındaki farklılıkları ve benzerlikleri ortaya koymaktır. Literatür taraması niteliğindeki çalışmada, ilgili literatür “matematiksel modelleme sürecini şekillendiren temel bileşenler ve basamaklar nelerdir?” ve “temel basamakları özel kılan bilişsel aktiviteler nasıl şekillenmektedir?” soruları çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Matematiksel ve gerçek yaşam arasındaki geçiş, matematiksel modeli kurma, çözme gibi basamaklar süreçteki önemli basamaklar olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. İlk çalışmalardaki farklı modelleme süreçlerinde genellikle temel basamaklar ön plandayken; son yıllardaki modelleme süreçlerinde basamakların yanı sıra bileşenlerin de dikkate alındığı görülmektedir. Modelleme sürecindeki bilişsel süreçlerin açıklanması, problem çözme sürecindeki zorlukları ortaya çıkardığı gibi, modelleme problemleriyle gerçek yaşam ve matematiğin ilişkilendirilmesini, bilişsel ve üst bilişsel becerilerin ortaya çıkarılmasını veya geliştirilmesini sağlayacak bilinçli tasarlanan öğretim ortamlarının yaratılmasında büyük önem taşımaktadır. Çalışma modelleme sürecine ve modelleme problemlerinin kullanımına dair kapsamlı bir bakış açısı getireceği düşünülmektedir. Abstract: The purpose of the study is to reveal the differences and similarities between modeling process by dealing with mathematical modeling process in literature. In this study, literature review, the literature in question was examined through the questions: “What are the basic components and steps in the mathematical modeling process?” and “How to be shaped mental activities in occurring basic steps?”. Transition between mathematical and real world and the steps such as making and solving the mathematical model are important part of modeling process. It was seen that the basic components of mathematical modeling were generally considered in initial studies but in last studies it was examined the components of mathematical modeling as well as basic steps. Explaining the mental activities in modeling cycle exposes blockages of problem solving process. Besides, they are great importance for creating learning environments providing relation between real world and mathematics, and occurrence and improvement of cognitive and meta-cognitive skills. It is thought that this study may bring a comprehensive perspective related to use of modeling problems and modeling process. Özet: Bu araştırma ile il eğitim denetmen ve yardımcılarının mesleki gelişimlerini sürdürmelerinde e-mentorluk modelinin sürece olan katkılarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Öncelikle tüm etkinliklerin gerçekleştirildiği uygulama sitesi (www.e-mentorum.com) hazırlanarak yayınlanmıştır. Literatür taraması ve uygulama başlangıcında uygulama sitesi kullanıcılarından gelen istekler doğrultusunda belirlenen sekiz öğrenme içeriği ile ilgili öğrenme materyalleri hazırlanarak uygulama sitesine yüklenmiştir. Uygulama sitesinde yönetici, e-mentor ve mente olarak üç farklı kullanıcı grubu tanımlanmıştır. 2011-2012 yılında, Elazığ, Malatya ve Bingöl illerinde görevli il eğitim denetmen ve yardımcılarından 59’unun katılımıyla gerçekleştirilen araştırmada akademisyen ve deneyimli il eğitim denetmenleri e-mentor, çalışma grubunda yer alan diğer il eğitim denetmen ve yardımcıları mente, araştırmacı ise yönetici olarak atanmıştır. Tek grup öntest sontest deneysel desende gerçekleştirilen araştırmada uygulama sitesi üzerinden yapılacak etkinliklerin neler olduğu ve nasıl yapılacağı hakkında oryantasyon eğitimleri verilmiştir. E-mentorluk uygulamasının, il eğitim denetmen ve yardımcılarının başarılarına etkisini belirlemek için başarı testi kullanılmıştır. Sonraki aşamada başarı testi öntesti yapılarak uygulamaya başlanmıştır. 10 hafta süren araştırma sonunda başarı testi sontestleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde verilerin analizi aşamasında ilişkili örneklemler t testi, Kruskal Wallis H testi ve Mann Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi ile e-mentorluk uygulamasının, il eğitim denetmen ve yardımcılarının başarılarına olumlu katkı sağladığı görülmüştür. First of all, we have designed and published a web-site (www.e-mentorum.com) to carry out all activities. Based on both literature review and the demands of prospective system users at the beginning phase of the implementation, we have determined eight learning content packages and designed appropriate instructional materials and then uploaded them to the web site. We defined three distinct user-groups called as admin, e-mentor, and mentee. This study was carried out in 2011-2012 years by the participation of 59 provincial education supervisors and assistant supervisors who were on duty in provinces of Elazig, Malatya, and Bingol. In this study, academicians and experienced provincial education supervisors i were assigned as e-mentor, other provincial education supervisors and assistant supervisors were assigned as mente while researcher was admin. Before the implementation of this study, which one group pretest-posttest design model was adopted, for this study and we run an orientation program on what kinds of activities would take place during the implementation and how they would be achieved. Achievement test was used to determine the effect of e-mentorship implementation on the success of provincial education supervisors and assistant supervisors as pretest at the beginning of the implementation and as posttest at the end of the implementation (after 10 weeks). For the analyses of the data, paired-sample t-test, Kruskal Wallis H-test, and Mann Whitney U test were used. Özet: Bu araştırmada temel amaç, Erciyes Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesi bazı öğretmen yetiştirme programları öğretmen adaylarının çevre sorunlarına yönelik tutumlarını farklı değişkenler açısından karşılaştırmalı analizini yapmaktır. Bu çalışma betimsel türde olup tarama modeli ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında ‘’Çevre Sorunlarına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği’’ kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada cinsiyet ve yerleşim yeri değişkenleri için t testi; lisans programı, anne ve baba eğitim durumu değişkenleri için ANOVA kullanılmıştır. ANOVA testi sonucunda ortaya çıkan farkın hangi gruplar lehine olduğunu belirlemek için TUKEY testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğretmen adaylarının çevre sorunlarına yönelik tutumları ile cinsiyetleri, öğrenim gördükleri lisans programı, üniversiteye gelmeden önce yaşadıkları yerleşim yeri arasında herhangi bir farklılık bulunmamıştır. Ancak öğretmen adaylarının çevre sorunlarına yönelik tutumları ile ebeveynlerinin eğitim düzeyi arasında eğitim düzeyi yüksek ebeveynler lehine bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmen adaylarının çevre sorunlarına yönelik tutumları orta düzeyde yüksek bulunmuştur. Anahtar Kelimeler: Çevre, çevre sorunları, öğretmen adayları, çevresel tutum, çevre eğitimi Abstract: The main purpose of this study is to make a comparative analysis of the attitudes of the pre-service teachers from some of the teacher trainee programs in Faculty of Education, Erciyes University towards environmental issues in terms of different variables. This is kind of a descriptive study was carried out with scanning model. “Questionnaire of Attitudes towards Environmental Issues” was used in the study to gather data. T-test for the variables of gender and place of study, degree program, the parents ANOVA for the variables used in education. ANOVA test of the difference resulting from the Tukey test was used to determine which groups are in favor. According to the evidence obtained through the study, there is no difference between the variables such as gender, the undergraduate program in which they study, the place they lived before attending to university and the attitudes of pre-service teachers towards environmental issues. But there is a meaningful difference between the attitudes and variables such as the education levels of their parents on behalf of the parents with higher education levels. The attitudes of pre-service teachers participated in the study towards environmental issues were found to be in the middle level. Özet: Bu çalışmanın amacı; çocuk edebiyatının estetikle olan ilişkisini ortaya koymaya çalışmaktır. Çalışma tarama modelinde desenlenmiştir. Çocuk kitaplarında verilen mesajın sunuluş şekli oldukça önemlidir. Bu anlamda çocuk edebiyatçılarının “Nasıl yazmalıyım?” kaygısı taşımaları, bu kaygıyı estetik ile ortadan kaldırıp okuyucuya sunabilmeleri gerekliliği vurgulanmaya çalışılmıştır. Estetik eğitim çerçevesinde estetik duygular kazanan birey, nitelikli çocuk edebiyatı ürünleri seçmekte zorlanmayacaktır. Estetik duyguların çocuk yaşta kazandırılmasının önemi yadsınamaz bir gerçekliktir. Güzele ve iyiye yönlenebilme estetik bir bakış açısına sahip olmakla mümkün hâle gelebilir. Bu yöneliş, çocuk edebiyatıyla çocuklara kazandırılmalıdır. Çocuk edebiyatının estetiki duygularla var olabilmesi, çocuk edebiyatı kavramının güzelle iyi olanla örtüşmesini sağlayacaktır. Estetik unsurları barındıran eserler okuyan, dolayısıyla güzele yönelen çocuk, edebi duyarlılık kazanacak, bu duyarlılıkla topluma değer katabilecektir. Okuyucunun estetik kaygısı güzele ulaşma ve iyi bulma çabası estetiki çocuk edebiyatı ürünlerinin sayısını arttıracak böylelikle çocuk edebiyatçıları da estetik kaygı çerçevesinde eserler vermeye başlayacaklardır. Bu eserler, estetik eğitim çerçevesinde yetişmiş bireyde, özü kavrayabilmeyi öğretecektir. Bu kavrayış da edebi eserden haz alma ve hoşlanma kavramlarıyla bireyde yer edinebilecektir. The study was conducted through survey technique. Submission of the message in children's books is very important. In this regard, it was sought to express that children's literature writers should be concerned as to "how they should write" and that they have to eliminate this concern due to employment of aesthetics and deliver same to the readers through this way. An individual acquiring aesthetic feelings within the framework of aesthetic education, will not encounter hardship in choosing quality products in children's literature. The importance of acquisition of aesthetic emotions in childhood is an undeniable reality. Being oriented to beautiful and better may become possible but with an aesthetic point of view. Internalization of this orientation through children must be ensured by virtue of children's literature. The existence of children's literature with aesthetic emotions will ensure the concept of children's literature merge with what is good and beautiful. A child reading books including aesthetic elements and thereby orienting him to beauty will acquire literary sensitivity and add value to the society thanks to this sensitivity. The readers’ concerns to access to beauty and pursuit to finding the best will increase the number of children's literature books thereby leading children's literature writers to produce works within the framework of aesthetic concern. These books will allow an individual grown up within the framework of aesthetic education, to be able to grasp the essence. Özet: Türk edebiyatının en orijinal simalarından biri olan Abdülhak Hâmid Tarhan, şairliği ile tanınmış ve "Şair-i Azam" olarak anılmıştır. Eski şiir geleneğinin yıkılmasında önemli bir rol oynamıştır. Her ne kadar şâirliği ile tanınsa da kırk kadar eserinin yirmi beşini tiyatro türünde vermiştir. Abdülhak Hâmid, şiirlerinde sergilediği yeni ve farklı olanı deneme tavrını, tiyatro eserlerinde de sürdürür. Gerek şekil gerekse muhteva bakımından farklı eserler kaleme alır. Birkaç nesli görecek kadar uzun bir ömür süren Abdülhak Hâmid, bu uzun ömründe yeni şekiller ve farklı teknikler dener, fakat nesilden nesile değişen dil anlayışlarına rağmen o, dil konusundaki tutumunu değiştirmez. Abdülhak Hâmid, pek çok konuda olduğu gibi dil ve üslûp konusunda da kural tanımaz bir tavır içerisindedir. "Benim üslûbum yok, esalibim vardır." ifadesi de bu çerçevede değerlendirilmelidir. İşte bu düşüncelerden hareketle bu yazıda Abdülhak Hâmid'in şairliğinin dışında bir tiyatro yazarı olarak dile karşı tutumu ele alınacak ve tiyatro eserlerindeki üslûbu ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır. Abstract: One of the most original figures of the Turkish literature, Abdülhak Hâmid Tarhan is known by his poesy and is remembered as “Şair-i Azam” (The Great Poet). He played.He played an important role in overthrowing the old traditional poetry. Although he is known by his poesy, twenty-five of his fourty works are playwrites.Abdülhak Hâmid, continued his attitude of trying the new and the different genre of his theatre works. He wrote different works not onlye in terms of form but also the content. Abdülhak Hâmid who lived long enough to see several generations, tried new forms and different techniques in his long life, but he didn’t change his language attitude in spite of the changing laguage understanding from genaration to generation. Abdulhak Hâmid, was in a noncompliant attitude tward language and style like in other subjects. His expression “I do not have the style, there are styles” shoul be interpreted in this context. In this respect, in addition to his poesy style, as a playwriter Abdülhak Hâmid’s attitude tward language and style in his plays will be dealt with in this paper. Özet: Ortaöğretim matematik öğretmenlerinin Model Oluşturma Etkinliklerine (MOElere) ve derslerde kullanımlarına ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilen çalışmada, on yedi öğretmen ile çalışılmıştır. Veriler MOElerin tanıtım ve tasarımının gerçekleştirildiği bir çalıştayın öncesinde ve sonrasında gerçekleştirilen odak grup görüşmeleri yoluyla toplanmıştır. İlk odak grup görüşmesinde MOEleri içerdiği kelimelerden hareketle tanımlamaya çalışan katılımcılar, problem çözme, öğretim süreci ve ürün oluşturmaya yönelik ifadeler kullanmışlardır. Son odak grup görüşmesinde ise MOEleri konunun başında ya da sonunda, dönem ödevi veya projeler kapsamında kullanabileceklerini belirten öğretmenler, konunun uygunluğu ve zamana bağlı olarak kullanım sıklığına karar vereceklerini ifade etmişlerdir. Katılımcılar öğrencilerinin ilgilerini çekmek, farklı matematik konularını ya da disiplinler arası konuları bütünleştirmek gibi sebeplerle derslerde MOEleri kullanabileceklerini ifade etmişlerdir. Öğretmenlerin derslerinde MOEleri uygulamalarının ardından, söz konusu görüşlerinde değişiklik olup olmadığının araştırılması önerilmektedir. Abstract: In this study carried out on the purpose of identifying secondary mathematics teachers’ views regarding use of Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs) in lessons, teachers were studied. Data were collected through focus group interviews conducted before and after a workshop where MEAs were introduced and designed. In the first focus group interview, the participants trying to define MEAs with reference to the words MEA included used the statements such as problem solving, teaching process and product generating. In the last focus group interview, the teachers expressing that they could benefit from MEAs at the beginning or at the end of the subject and in the scope of term papers or project works. The participants stated that they could use MEAs in the lessons due to reasons like catching students’ attention and integrating different mathematical or interdisciplinary subjects. It is suggested whether the views of teachers change or not can be studied after they implement MEAs in their lessons. Özet: Okuma, bir harf dizisini doğru çözmeye, doğru seslendirmeye dayanan anlık bir eylem değil fiziksel ve zihinsel etkileşime dayanan bir süreçtir. Okuma, öğrenilebilen ve geliştirilebilen bir beceridir. Okuma becerisinin ve alışkanlığının kazandırılacağı ilk kurum, okuldur. Bu nedenle okullarda, okuma becerisini geliştirmeye yönelik etkinlikler yapılmaktadır. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından uygulamaya konulan “100 Temel Eser” projesi de bu etkinliklerden biridir. Bu proje sonucunda öğrencilerin Türk ve dünya edebiyatından belli başlı eserleri okumuş olarak okuldan mezun olması hedeflenmektedir. Projenin bir devamı olarak çeşitli illerde ve okullarda 100 Temel Eser okuma yarışmaları düzenlenmektedir. Elinizde çalışma, bu 100 Temel Eser okuma yarışmalarını incelemektedir. Doküman incelemesi yöntemiyle, 100 Temel Eser okuma yarışmalarının nasıl yapıldığı ve yarışmalarda sorulan sorular incelenmiş; elde edilen bulgular Türkçe ve edebiyat eğitiminin ölçme-değerlendirme ilkeleri ve okuma eğitimi bakımından yorumlanmıştır. Kitap okuma yarışmalarının çoktan seçmeli testlerle değil de açık uçlu sorularla yapılmasının daha eğitici olacağı vurgulanmış; buna yönelik öneriler sıralanmıştır. It not a momentary action based on right solving the right to say a letter. Reading is a skill that can be learned and improved. School is the first institution to impart reading skills and habits. Therefore the activities carried out in schools to improve reading skills. "The 100 Essential Books" project is one of those activities implemented by the Ministry of Education. The aim of this project is that the students must read books of Turkish and world literature before they graduation from schools. As a continuation of the project in schools in various provinces and 100 Essential Books reading competitions are organized. In this study examines the 100 Essential Books reading competition. Examined that how is this contests and questions of competition with document analysis method and findings were interpreted according to the principles of measurement and evaluation in Turkish education and reading education. Emphasized that the test questions should not be reading contests, should be open-ended questions and and recommendations presented.
