Industrial Tourism and the Sustainability of the Development of Tourism Business

Sustainable tourism development meets the needs of present tourists and host regions while protecting and increasing the options for the future. It has led to management of all resources, so as to meet the economic, social and aesthetic needs while maintaining cultural integrity, the most important ecological processes, biological diversity and the processes that make life possible. (World Tourism Organization). Sustainable tourism products are products that work in accordance with the local environment, society and culture so as to have the environment, society and culture has benefited, and they became the victims of tourism development.
Currently we can to happiness; especially in industrialized countries observed in a wide range of tourist activities is also increasing concern about the so-called Industrial Tourism aimed at exploring technical monuments. This form of tourism was initially the domain of a narrow range of technically-based supporters, but gradually becomes increasingly attractive to a wider public.
In the paper we present selected examples of conversion options such as conservation and new utilization of rule the decaying industrial heritage, not only in Czech Republic but also in other European countries. Almost every city can be found industrial area or at least a few large objects that after the completion of the original production remained without adequate recovery. Although not strictly a registered cultural monuments, it is often interesting buildings completing the character of the place. The above example of the Czech Republic, the new use of the Vitkovice Ironworks and other similar sites can serve as inspiration for the cities concerned.
