One of the newer trends in tourism are constantly growing range of specific forms of tourism. These include industrial tourism, which in the Czech Republic and consequently in Europe there is experiencing a boom. It is a new phenomenon that occurs in connection with industrial heritage, which can be used for tourism purposes. The main purpose and idea of industrial tourism is to give the visitor a comprehensive view to the industrial development of regions. In the region for locals is common, the visitor becomes extraordinary and enticing. Industrial tourism is also one of the ways to maintain a link of the industrial era, which affected not only Europe but the entire world. The Czech Republic in the current geographic configuration located in the center of Europe. Mainly due to its location, the history of the country there is almost always conditioned by European development stages. One of the major milestones differing time periods within the technical progress was definitely the era of the industry, which started the industrial revolution in the 18th century. Period of industrialization in the territory of the present Czech Republic preserved a diverse range of industrial buildings, which are for example plants of all kinds, mines, metallurgical plants, and transport or storage buildings including preserved workers' colonies.

This research project is devoted to investigation of the process of territory branding. Firstly, it reviews existing resources presenting mainstream theoretical concepts on the topic. Then, the observation of the real cases, as well as conducted comparative case study analysis contributes in identifying the current problems in the field of place branding and assists in putting forward proposals for its elimination in the context of St. Petersburg. The main conclusion is that the application of the systematic approach to the branding policy is the first step towards successful implementation of branding strategy.

Tourism plays a principal role in the development of countries. It has an economic, social, cultural, environmental and political impacts. The article discusses the essence and the main impacts of tourism in the economy, presents the statistics of the sphere, evaluates tourism impact in Armenia by calculating tourism multiplier effect, the linear correlation coefficient R of Pearson between the number of incoming tourists and the GDP of the country. The balance of payments of travel account and its sub accounts, tourism competitiveness index are analized in the article and, as a result, several suggestions are made towards tourism enhancement in Armenia.
