Readability assessment is an important task in automatic text simplification that aims identify the text complexity by computing a set of metrics. In this paper, we present the development and assessment of an open source library called Pylinguistics to readability assessment of texts written in Portuguese. Additionally, to illustrate the possibilities of our tool, this work also presents an empirical analysis of readability of Brazilian scientific news dissemination.

Several initiatives have emerged in the search for improvement of software processes in recent years. These initiatives are usually guided by Standards, Models and Quality Standards, aiming to establish best practices to guide the definition of processes and support the assessment of the maturity and capacity of organizations in the development of software products and provision of IT services. Despite the emergence of several initiatives, when the topic refers to the processes of contracting information technology (IT) solutions by the Brazilian Federal Public Administration (APF), its application in the context of organizations has obstacles, such as the complexity of the processes and oversight of federal government agencies. In order to overcome these obstacles, the Court of Audit of the Union (TCU) recommended the preparation of the SLTI/MPOG 04/2014 Normative Instruction, containing guidelines for the process of contracting IT Solutions. This work defines a Mapping Method between IN/SLTI/MPOG 04/2014 and APF's IT Solutions Procurement Guide (GCSTI), with the objective of identifying the maturity and adherence of GCSTI to CMMI-ACQ, CMMI -DEV and CMMI-SVC. This work defines a Mapping Method between IN / SLTI / MPOG 04/2014 and its processes defined in the APF IT Solutions Procurement Guide (GCSTI), with the objective of identifying the maturity and adherence of the GCSTI to the Models CMMI-ACQ, CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVC and bringing as benefits a systematized and structured methodology to apply and map models, norms and standards of any nature. As a result of this research, the mapping method created allowed the mapping between the CMMI and GSTI models of IN / SLTI / PMO 04/2014, and the method could be applied in any other mapping, from which the processes were oriented to the same Structure and had similar objectives.

The Intrusion Detection System (IDS) needs to compare the contents of all packets arriving at the network interface with a set of signatures for indicating possible attacks, a task that consumes much CPU processing time. In order to alleviate this problem, some researchers have tried to parallelize the IDS's comparison engine, transferring execution from the CPU to GPU. This paper identifies and maps the parallelization features of the Aho-Corasick algorithm, which is used in Snort to compare patterns, in order to show this algorithm's implementation and execution issues, as well as optimization techniques for the Aho-Corasick machine. We have found 147 papers from important computer science publications databases, and have mapped them. We selected 22 and analyzed them in order to find our results. Our analysis of the papers showed, among other results, that parallelization of the AC algorithm is a new task and the authors have focused on the State Transition Table as the most common way to implement the algorithm on the GPU. Furthermore, we found that some techniques speed up the algorithm and reduce the required machine storage space are highly used, such as the algorithm running on the fastest memories and mechanisms for reducing the number of nodes and bit maping.

The museum is a place of preservation and elucidation in the history of a group of people; it exposes the past, contextualizes the present and takes us to a prospective vision. Studies show that even though they are in rise, virtual museums would tend to fail due to the lack of interest between the public and the collection. The objective of this research was to select Wiki tools that meet the criteria to provide more interactivity in an virtual museum.

The automation systems together with web and mobile control is a facilitator of the various processes in several areas, among them the agricultural sector. Specically in the irrigation management, the lowest cost technology is not able to satisfy the farmer's needs, which are the correct water supply to plants and remote monitoring of the irrigation. The objective of this paper is to present a system for controlling and monitoring irrigation with a multiplatform support for both desktop and web/mobile. The system is designed to realize automatic irrigation management in order to provide the exact amount of water needed for culture, avoiding water stress both the culture and the waste of resources such as water and electricity. Additionally, the system allows remote monitoring from anywhere by means of a computer and/or mobile device by internet. This work was developed during the undergraduate mentorship of the authors.
