Linked Open Data has been an initiative aimed at oering principles for the interconnection of data through machine-readable structures and knowledge representation schemes. At present, there are platforms that allow consuming LOD resources, being CKAN one of the most relevant on a large community made up of governmental organizations, NGOs, among others. However, the resources consumption lacks minimum criteria to determine their validity such as level of trust, quality, linkage and usability of the data; aspects that require a previous systematic analysis on the set of published data. To support this process of analysis and determination of the mentioned criteria, this paper has as purpose to present a method that allows analyzing the dataset current state obtained from the dierent instances published in CKAN, with the aim of evaluating the levels of trust that can oer from their sources. Finally, it presents results, conclusions and future work from the use of the tool for the dataset consumption belonging to certain instances ascribed to the CKAN platform.

We present the design of a magnetic encoder for angular position measurements. The proposed encoder includes two Hall sensors in quadrature in a xed platform. In addition, two permanent magnets are placed above the sensors in a shaft. The relative motion between the xed and movable components generates a voltage variation in the sensors, which enables an approximation of the angular position. We detail the acquisition process and the linearisation method applied for this encoder, which represent the most important contributions of this work. Finally, we demonstrate an application of the encoder for position control of a direct current motor to characterise the encoder performance in estimating rapid and slow changes in angular position.

This paper presents the optimization of a linear controller for a DC motor using the dynamic back-propagation algorithm. This algorithm is commonly employed for neural networks training; however, it can be used for optimization of a linear controller. The results show a satisfactory controller optimization.

Is investigated the top quark decay (t) two bodies using the spectator model. Is analyzed the decay (t!bW+) calculated theoretically the width of decay and decay fraction of the particle whose result is compared with the experimental data of the table Particle Data group. The model prediction on the decay process can be considered good as a rst approach to this class of decay. This type of analysis is particularly important because it allows one hand, familiarize students with the decays of particles and on the other, open a space to introduce topics of particle physics in the introductory courses at university level.

The objective of this project is based on the design and manufacture of a mechanism for a didactic product, awakening the interest of those who have afinity to horses and their skills. It is intended for people between 20 and 50 years old. Ergonomic, functional, use, aesthetic, structural and mechanical aspects were taken into account. In addition, the mechanisms were veried through the Working Model and SolidWorks software, with their corresponding static and kinematic calculations of the mechanism. The purpose of the project was to design a toy in the shape of a racecourse where there were two horses in competition, these displacements being generated by a crank movement exercised by the user, which was determined by kinematic calculations with the use of polar coordinates, nally we developed a prototype in scale 1-1 where we observed the speed of movement, the trajectory and the time it takes to carry out the activity. We conclude that for the development of competitiveness it is necessary to use a train of gears, which allowed the reduction of speed and the linear movement of the horse.

The Internet of Things has allowed the connection of a countless number of devices, which has facilitated control and even decision-making by them, but at the same time security vulnerabilities in operating systems, wireless security protocols, its applications, as well as the vulnerabilities in IoT, acronym in English of Internet of Things, devices, have allowed considerable sums of money to be paid to health institutions and patients for allowing the functionality of their equipment, according to security experts the world is facing a perfect storm which can allows attacks and system hijackings increasing in number, volume and gravity, since when adding more devices, they become access doors for intruders. However, it is important to be aware that everything that connects to the Internet is vulnerable; it has been demonstrated since birth, as well as the IoT.

In this article, are presented the results of a questionnaire designed to evaluate college students' understanding of the antiderivative. Specically, by civil engineering students when answering the questionnaire tasks, in order to identify and characterize the meanings on the antiderivative that are developed by them. In order to analyse the answers given, were used some theoretical and methodological notions provided by the theoretical model known as the Onto-Semiotic Approach (OSA) of mathematics cognition and instruction. The results show the knowledge of antiderivative by the Civil Engineering students. Furthermore, the comparison between the mathematical activity of students provides information that allows concluding that the meanings that they mobilized might be shared among their communities.

This paper attempts to clarify, through the implementation of a technological tool of self structured based on universal principles of quality management introduced in ISO 9000: 2000, the competitiveness of this type of sports institutions, modeled on those who have specialized in futsal facilities synthetic pitches, which are not only sports boom, but social cultural dynamics of the current Bogota society. Thus, with reference to the product futsal, the proposal to observe economic competitiveness in the areas of strategic planning, production and operations, accounting and nance, quality assurance, environmental management, marketing, human resource starts and systems information, synthetic sports facilities that exist in the city and what are the contributions that these likewise have are to improve productivity and be at the forefront of sports organizations sector.

The episodes of Freezing of Gait (FOG) are a recurring symptom in people suffering from advanced stages of Parkinson's disease (PD). These are severe occurrences because they may cause falls to the patients, generating further traumas and concussions. In order to solve this yet ineffectively treated issue, this article describes the research that developed a device capable of predicting freezing episodes. On this project a wearable device was developed, which was able to predict freezing episodes based on the calculation of a freezing index (FI) determined by the signals obtained from an inertial measurement unit (IMU). This device was tested in three Patients and signals corresponding to normal gait and simulated Parkinson gait were taken. The results showed that FI obtained from Parkinson gait were much higher than those from a normal gait, validating this parameter as a key aspect in FOG prediction.

The importance of implementing solar generation systems in rural areas in Colombia lies not only in providing access to the electric power population, but also in the use of current technologies to enhance their socioeconomic growth. The difficulties for its realization lie in technical limitations and access to the site, preventing mayors, heads of council and communities in general can correctly estimate the topology that suits their needs, falling into deceptions by companies that offer them oversized systems or those that do not meet your technical needs. In this document an analysis is made of the different possible topologies for rural areas, offering a methodology for its implementation with two cases of use as real examples.

This paper aims to describe the design and implementation of the height control system for the quadrotor AR. Drone 2.0 making use of a fuzzy logic in a previously established environment. This device has a height control system both in simulation and in the real platform. Three controllers are developed by fuzzy logic whose parameters are obtained from the drone’s sensors in such a way that it allows to control height and angles of orientation (Pitch, Roll and Yaw) as long as certain levels of battery charge are considered so that the system does not become unstable. For the visualization and interaction with the drone a Matlab® interface is designed and implemented, that allows communication between the user and all system functions in such a way that the mode of execution can be chosen, follow the reference parameters autonomously, store data for a later analysis, and visualize the displacements to observe the efficiency of system.

Linked Data, as a strategy of the Semantic Web, is based on application of some basic principles that contribute to the growth of the Web, thus allowing the transit of the Web of Documents to the Web of Data. Developed process by Linked Data is supported in different scenarios, which interact in order to carry out the linking of resources on the Web. Some of these scenarios present a solid technological background, while others propose challenges when they are implemented. This paper aims to identify and expose a generic abstraction of Linked Data, in order to identify problem situations that restrict Linked Data process.

This study presents a modelling for the carotid artery that allows to analyze the theoretical behavior of pressure, flow and arterial volume in it, from the variation of both physical and physiological characteristics, such as: the thickness and length of the vessel blood, the viscosity and density of blood; determinants in the study of the normal functionality of the artery. The model of the arterial vessel –an adaptation of the Windkessel model of three elements, reported by Westerhof and Stergiopulos–, consists of an electrical circuit composed of passive RLC elements. The arterial segment was analyzed by mathematical and computational tools, relating Poiseuille’s laws and electric laws. The pressure, flow and volume curves were obtained when changes occurred in the measurable characteristics of the carotid artery, in order to facilitate the medical interpretation of possible pathologies related to these changes.

This article shows the process of designing a system of workbenches for laboratory practices oriented to virtual environments by using remote instrumentation techniques. The process was linked to a Research process in an Instrumentation Research Seeder in the Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios, Colombian University. The document also presents the design process from the concept generation and Embodiment Design to the construction of a Basic Electronics Functional Prototype, including a remote access, and a trainer. One of the most important conclusion of the project points to the fact that the Remote Laboratories system is a very powerful didactic tool, not only in Virtual Education Processes, but also it will be used in a lot of academic environments.

The measurement of environmental variables turns out to be a wide field in which different techniques are used to capture the desired analog signals, all of the above in order to transform them and deliver them in such a way that their interpretation is clear. This article describes a research project, which was carried out for the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies IDEAM –Colombia–, where a reverse engineering methodology was implemented aimed at the application of proprietary technologies to generate a new device capable of measuring soil temperature and moisture, starting from the design of the electronic circuit and arriving at the simulation. All based on existing equipment for the identification of electronic components, performance curves, and input and output signals, this with the aim of conceptualizing and generating bases for the final design.

An optimization process is a kind of process that systematically comes up with solutions that are better than a previous solution used before. Optimization algorithms are used to find solutions which are optimal or near-optimal with respect to some goals, to evaluate design tradeoffs, to assess control systems, to find patterns in data, and to find the optimum values (local or global) of mathematical functions. A genetic algorithm is one of the optimization techniques. In this way, a heuristic search that is inspired by Charles Darwin’s theory of natural evolution. This algorithm reflects the process of natural selection where the fittest individuals are selected for reproduction in order to produce offspring of the next generation which are population algorithms that emulate behavior similar to Darwinian natural selection. Taking into account these issues, this article shows the performance of a genetic algorithm designed, which allows to find several minimums within a function from the control of population diversity. To perform the tests, the algorithm with four different functions was used, with the particularity of having several minima with the same value. Proposed strategy was compared with a conventional genetic algorithm, the result was the conventional one can only find some of the minimums of the function and sometimes only one, while the proposal finds most of the minimums.

Therefore, this article reviews the hacking tools for the forensic investigation of mobile terminals, proposing from the documentary research a forensic information acquisition model to determine tangible and significant evidences as a probative material.
