The researchers explored the conditioning effect of number of enterprises together with employment generation led by MSMEs towards Regional Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) of the Philippines through panel regression analysis from 2018 to 2021. Initially, it revealed that RGDP, number of MSMEs as well as its employment generated decreased from 2019 to 2020 and increased from 2020 to 2021. Metro Manila followed by Region IV-A and Region 3 where topping RGDP values, number of MSMEs and its employment generated. Moreover, corrected PLS revealed that the number of enterprises and the MSMEs’ employment generation conditions RGDP. Hence, the researchers recommend focusing on the least MSMEs growth in the region particularly in Mindanao Island to foster equitable MSME-induced growth in the country.

One of the key benchmark deposit money banks must monitor and take into account when making operational and financial decisions is how asset-liability structure will enhance bank financial survival proxied with capital adequacy ratio. Without sound capital adequacy ratio over time, commercial banks or deposit money banks (DMBs) cannot traditionally carried out the role of financial intermediaries which in turn threaten bank financial survival. The aim of the study is to establish effect of asset-liability structures on financial survival proxied with capital adequacy ratio of selected DMBs. Expost facto research design and panel regression technique were used within the period of 2010 and 2021. Finding revealed that asset-liability structures in terms of cash and cash equivalents, net loan portfolio, net fixed assets, total deposit, and total long-term funding affect financial survival of selected DMBs in Nigeria. Thus, the study suggested that bank top management should ensure that there should not be mis-match between assets-liabilities and both asset-liability should be prudently managed to grow year on year in the right mix and without contravening the statutory guidelines so that the DMBs can survive for long period.

Industrial Relations (IR) or Employment Relations (ER) isa marker of organized industry and organized labour that has evolved since the industrial revolution and mechanized production. Different country has seen the evolution of participatory management in manufacturing and production in different ways at different times where management allowed or was forced to allow democratic norms in labour or employee relations. Readymade Garment (RMG) is one of the most visible organized manufacturing sectors serving as back-office suppliers of global brands of developed countries. This research attempted to measure the effectiveness of IR practices of selected Readymade Garment (RMG) factories to explore the relationships, job security, and empowerment issues. Opinions of 346 workers were collected and analyzed using a one-sample "t-test". The study discovered the effectiveness of IR practices in the area of developing a positive relationship among all the stakeholders, and the sample RMGs were found to be weak in ensuring social security for the workers and establishing trade unions in the factory. This research work is one of the first attempts to measure the IR practice in the RMG sector of Bangladesh. However, its outcome may enrich the existing body of knowledge and facilities in the design of an effective IR program for the development of this sector.

The purpose of this study was to examine foreign direct investment (FDI) in the context of Sudan between the years 1990 and 2020 by using the bounds testing method of cointegration and the error-correction model. As per the results, it can be understood that the variables considered for the study are combined on a long-term basis if FDI remains a dependent variable. Further, a significant equilibrium correction was found, which supports the existence of a long-term relationship. A number of internal and external factors (especially gross domestic product (GDP), trade openness, inflation, exchange rate, and growth rate, as well as additional macroeconomic indicators such as investment/GDP) were found to impact the state of FDI in Sudan. The variables showed no causalities as per the outcomes of the Granger causality test. Moreover, as per the variance decomposition results, the forecast error variance of FDI, in addition to that of GDP, investment/GDP, and inflation, was found to be self-explanatory. Additionally, as per the impulse response functions, the results demonstrated a short-term negative association between GDP and FDI, suggesting that Sudan possesses inadequate absorptive capacity for promoting its economy using FDI. The results of this research emphasized how selective public policies can be utilized to promote FDI and consequently facilitate short- and long-term economic growth. Therefore, it is useful to recommend some policy implications to promote the application of FDI in Sudan.

The management of conflict has become extremely important for tertiary institutions in the modern educational sector since they continually deal with conflict and need to do so in order to enhance performance. The study examined the effect of macro level techniques for reducing conflict dysfunctions on organisational performance of public university in Edo State, Nigeria. The survey was main research design with an 846-person target population for the study, convenience sampling was used to obtain a sample size comprising 507 senior non-academic staff members. A systematic questionnaire with a likert scale was used to obtain primary data. Descriptive statistics and Correlation Analyses were employed to analyze the data with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 22. The findings revealed that executive compensation and achievement motivation are effective macro-level techniques for reducing conflict's dysfunctions and improving organisational performance. According to the study, organisations should put more effort into meeting employees' basic requirements in order to retain them for a long time, which would eventually assist in improving the output's quality.

This study investigates the impact of Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) in incentivizing the work performance of public-school teachers in the Philippine educational bureaucracy. Using a cross-sectional design, a survey was administered to public school teachers and personnel in 10 selected schools in the Cagayan Valley region, Philippines. The mechanism of incentivizing work performance is found efficient in increasing work productivity. The interplay of top-down and bottom-up management approaches is paramount in the planning and realization of the agency's PBB key result areas. However, there are perceived issues that the PBB scheme needs further clarification and improvement in its implementation. Regardless of how they may feel about the practical difficulties in the PBB implementation, it serves its purpose as a strong incentivizing scheme for employees to perform, which has a good effect on work productivity.

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have a great importance in various economic systems in global scale. In early 2000s, the promotion of MSMEs has been a main key player in promoting economic activity in the region. As purported and pillared by the ASEAN Economic Blueprint, the main economic integration strategy will focus on the merging of local economies in the region through the MSMEs. However, theoretically and economically speaking, in order for integration to exist, the local markets should be moving sensitively with respect to other markets inside the economic bloc market. Thus, this study attempted to study the conditioning effect of the number of MSMEs, number of employment generation to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The researchers used descriptive-causal design through panel regression model using secondary data to treat and analyze data sets. The findings revealed that there was scattered pattern of growth among numbers of MSMEs in the undistributed growth among employment generation of MSMEs. Considerably, the regression revealed through a random effect model that there are no integration or movement effects of MSME contributions to their respective GDP using Singapore as reference. The study concluded that there is no country-effect sensitivity within and among the compared countries. Hence, economic integration as a status quo is not a viable economic strategy. Thereby, the researchers recommend the internal policies within nations to intensify, promote, develop and provide safety nets to strengthen the MSMEs of their respective states.

The impact of Bangladesh's financial market development on the nation's economic growth from 1993 to 2020 is examined in this article. Unit root tests, cointegration tests, vector error correction models, and causality tests were performed to evaluate the results. As a result, the unit root test at first difference indicated that the variables were stationary. The Johansen cointegration test revealed that the variables were cointegrated, and the vector error correction model revealed that there was a long-term interaction. According to the results of the casualty test, some variables have a unidirectional causal relationship, but other variables do not. The study's findings suggest that promoting financial development frequently affects the economy and the policymakers of the financial market can move forward with potential initiatives by considering the results from this analytical review.
