Knowledge management is fundamental part of each innovative company that pays attention on overall knowledge that posse. Knowledge management is a complex process that allows one company to manage with all the knowledge that can be presented in different forms and shapes. Also this process contribute for better understanding of all the knowledge, and discover the need of creation of new knowledge in the companies. The process of knowledge management can be put in a service of marketing campaign because creation and implementation of successful marketing campaign depends from well structured information, people and actions and of course well planned goals that want to be reach with this campaign. In order to be reach this interaction between knowledge management process and marketing campaign, can be used a lot of software tools for knowledge management that can help marketers to support their marketing campaigns on the best possible way. In this paper will be theoretically explained why marketing campaigns need knowledge management software, and will be given some software tools that companies can use for this purpose. The goal of this paper is to present to companies that now exists a lot of innovative tools that can help them to organize their knowledge and to manage with that knowledge in order to reach new goals and to make their marketing campaigns successful and effective for the targeted audience

This paper introduces new theoretical arguments to explain how institutional pressures influence decisions to adopt IFRS voluntarily. Through recourse to an institutional theory context, we combine the analytical framework proposed by Oliver (1991) with the concept of institutional logics, and apply this framework to the financial accounting field for the first time. This combined model shows how multiple forms of rationality constrain company responses to pressures to adopt a new accounting regime. This study focuses on the methods and methodology for the measurement of formal accounting convergence. Single standards are clustered according to their convergence level, which may indicate further convergence emphasis. The results reveal that this new method can measure the convergence level of NAS with IFRS more clearly and informatively. Prevailing institutional logics are shown to provide important insights to the decisions of companies to adopt IFRS voluntarily. We draw on our results to contend that a company’s acquiescence to institutional pressures to adopt IFRS occurs notwithstanding that they can also contemplate more active strategies (through decoupling)

CREDIT RISK ASSESSMENT FOR MORTGAGE LENDING

Banking institutions involved in lending carefully assess credit risk. To assess credit risk, lenders gather information on the current and past financial conditions of the prospective borrower and the nature and value of the property serving as loan collateral. The precision in credit risk assessment is desirable because it ensures profitability and reduces the probability of opportunity lost when the application of profitable customer is rejected. Hence, lenders continually search for better methods to assess credit risk. This research paper examines the better way to assess credit risk in mortgage lending. Information on 250 past and prospective customers of bank was collected from the concerned authority of the bank. Discriminant analysis was applied on the collected data. Developed model classifies customers as high or low credit risk. Debt to income ratio (x100) is the best parameter to assess the credit risk followed by years with current employer, credit card debt, and years at current address. On the basis of analysis it is concluded that the model is correct about more than three out of four times. Future research can be conducted to incorporate more variables in the model where predictions might approach towards 100% accuracy

Banking Sector plays an important role in economic development of a country. The banking system of India is featured by a large network of bank branches, serving many kinds of financial services of the people. The State Bank of India, popularly known as SBI is one of the leading bank of public sector in India. SBI has 14 Local Head Offices and 57 Zonal Offices located at important cities throughout the country. ICICI Bank is second largest and leading bank of private sector in India. The Bank has 2,533 branches and 6,800 ATMs in India. The purpose of the study is to examine the financial performance of SBI and ICICI Bank, public sector and private sector respectively. The research is descriptive and analytical in nature. The data used for the study was entirely secondary in nature. The present study is conducted to compare the financial performance of SBI and ICICI Bank on the basis of ratios such as credit deposit, net profit margin etc. The period of study taken is from the year 2009-10 to 2013-14. The study found that SBI is performing well and financially sound than ICICI Bank but in context of deposits and expenditure ICICI bank has better managing efficiency than SBI.
