This study, evaluated some morphological traits and genotypes by multivariate statistical methods in some oak species (Q. castaneifolia C. A. Mey, Q. pedunculiflora C. Koch., Q. iberica Stev., Q. macranthera Fisch. & C. A. Mey ex Hohen, Q. ilex L.). 910 leaves were sampled from 91 trees, 8 population across Azerbaijan, and 6 morphological traits were assessed. The indicator traits were analyzed using multidimensional statistical analysis for each species. As a result of the component analysis, the three-pointer element (PRIN1, PRIN2, PRIN3) explained 86.97% of the variance among genotypes. These results provide identification of valuable species and patterns in the future selection and application of other genetic programs on the improvement of oaks in Caucuses.
