The southernmost range of the geographic distribution of Erosaria acicularis (Caenogastropoda, Cypraeidae) is extended from north coast of Rio de Janeiro state to the north coat of São Paulo state. This observation is based on living specimen found in Ilha Bela municipality.

This paper is developed based on descriptive studies published elsewhere. It aims to analyze the morphological data on a set of littorinoidans and rissooideans looking for the understanding their phylogeny and their relationships with remaining Caenogastropoda taxa. The examined set of species is relatively small, but considered sufficient for above mentioned analysis. The phylogenetic study revealed the monophyly of the Rissooidea, being the littorinoideans a paraphyletic arrangement of basal branches. A total of 44 morphological characters (59 states) is analyzed. Its analysis resulted in the following cladogram: (Littorina flava (Annularia sp. (Amphithalamus glabrus (Potamolithus ribeirensis (P. karsticus – P. troglobius))))). A set of 14 morphological synapomorphies supports this monophyly.

Lucapina elisae (Vetigastropoda, Fissurellidae) is a new species described for deep waters (from 260 m depth) in Canopus Bank, off Ceará, N.E. Brazilian coast. The shell is large, thin walled, with small orifice, and delicate reticulate sculpture. A preliminary gross anatomy of the species is also provided.

The genus Neopleurotomoides is represented by two species in the North Atlantic, N. callembryon (Dautzenberg & Fischer, 1896) and N. distincta Bouchet & Warén, 1980. Here, we register for the first time the former species to “Brazilian deep waters” extending southward the geographical distribution of this species based in material obtained from Rio de Janeiro state (21ºS).

Fasciolaria agatha a new species of Canopus Bank, northeast of Brazil, collected in 60m depth, is described based on shell and operculum. The species is characterized by shell relatively elongated, whorls rounded; sculpture relatively weak and uniform; and canal narrow and long.

Diptychophlia hubrechti, a new species is described base on shell, being the first record of this genus to Atlantic Ocean. It occurs in Fortaleza, Ceará, N.E. Brazil, in 260 m depth. The main diagnostic characters of the new species are: shell with acuminate, color cream to light-pink, siphonal canal moderately short, protoconch mammilated and strongly channeled suture.

Three new Buccinidae found in Central South Brazilian Coast are described. Two belongs to Genus Engina and are restricted to Southeast Coast, between Espirito Santo State and Rio de Janeiro State. The third species is a deep water Metula found between São Paulo State and Santa Catarina State.

Eight new species of Conus found along the Northeast Brazilian Coast are described (type localities parenthetic): C. bodarti sp. nov. (off Alcobaça, Bahia, Brazil); C. henckesi sp. nov.(Itaparica Island, Bahia, Brazil); C.delucai (off Alcobaça, Bahia, Brazil); C. schirrmeisteri (off Alcobaça, Bahia, Brazil); C. baiano (off Alcobaça, Bahia, Brazil); C. cargilei (off Alcobaça, Bahia, Brazil); C. mauricioi (off Rio do Fogo, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil); C. pseudocardinalis (off Alcobaça, Bahia, Brazil). Six species are found in the Abrolhos Bank area in Bahia State, the largest coral reef complex in Southern Atlantic; one is restricted to the Itaparica Island, also in Bahia; and the last one is found far north, along the coasts of Pernambuco to Rio Grande do Norte States. All new species are illustrated in color, as well as similar species found in the the same area of distribution.
