Joint particles model database for discrete element numerical simulation

Abstract: Particle flow calculation is an essential method for numerical simulation. Single spherical particles cannot meet the increasingly complex particle simulation requirements, and joint particles may simulate materials with different shapes. To ensure the consistency of simulation and actual materials, the gradation of the two materials needs to be the same. However, the premise is that the particle size of the joint particles is obtained by calculation. It is very cumbersome for researchers to form particles and calculate the particle size when calculating joint particles. This problem can be solved by building a particle database. This paper establishes this database, and parameters such as particle size and area of joint particles are calculated. It dramatically simplifies the workload of joint particle simulation personnel and can compare simulation results of different researchers, which is beneficial to the promotion of research results. © International Journal of Ground Sediment & Water, ©Sun Jichao. Impact of Keremt Rains in Water Resource of Ethiopia with Reference to Rift Valley

Abstract: In this paper, an important to review of studies on the impact of summer or keremit rains in water resource of Ethiopia with Special related to rift valley as well as the problems and future utilization of water resource in the rift valley lakes basin of Ethiopia was conducted. The overall land mass of the country is hydrologically divided into twelve basins, eight of these are River Basins, one Lake Basin and three Dry Basins. The rift valley lake basin is endowed with a number of rivers as well as lakes of varying size with high environmental significance. The Kiremt season is the major rain season over Ethiopia where it covers up to 90% of the total rain of a year over some regions of the country and the major driver of this rainfall is the ITCZ. Most of rivers, dams, lakes and different water bodies filled with water during this season resulted occurrence flood and drought as well as land degradation, sedimentation, drought and floods as the major challenges of water resources in the rift valley lakes basin of Ethiopia during the rainy season. The main water resources problem in Ethiopia is the uneven spatial and temporal occurrence and distribution with the groundwater potential of the country is not known with any certainty. So the future opportunity to develop and proper utilization is critical of water resources through sustainable and conserve water resource. © International Journal of Ground Sediment & Water, ©Sun Jichao. Review on the Current Status of Ethiopian Indigenous Goat Production

This review aims to generate basic information for beneficiaries and users about the indigenous breed of Ethiopian goats and their productive performance, social and economic significance of goat production, and major goat production programs in Ethiopia. Some of the constraints and opportunities for goat production are also discussed in this paper. Ethiopia has a large number of livestock; 65.35 million cattle, 39.89 million sheep, 50.50 million goats, 8.98 million donkeys, 2.11 million horses, 7.70 million camels, 0.38 million mules and 48, 96 million chickens. The country has the largest number of goats on the continent, which serves several functions for the communities. In Ethiopia, goat production represents 16.8% of the total meat and 16.7% of milk consumption. Indigenous Ethiopian goats are less productive than cold breeds. Goat production was largely affected by food shortages, diseases and parasites, market depressions, low genetic production and severe water shortages. There are ways to increase goat production, as various development partners are involved in higher education. Currently, research and development is underway on goat development. It is important to use modern production systems with advanced technology in urban and urban areas and to improve the traditional system in rural areas by adding food and better medical care. © International Journal of Ground Sediment & Water, ©Sun Jichao. Design theories and methods for running routes and slopes

Abstract: Mountain marathon has attracted much attention and love, and its development is changing with each passing day. There is an urgent need for new methods and theories of marathon route development and design. For the safety of participants, the marathon route design needs to meet the requirements of slope and distance. This paper proposes the theory and method of marathon route design, which is embodied as a 5-step design method (downhill trajectory slope of equidistant points, interactive point layout, close route, route check, route adjustment), and further designs the interactive route design program. And a specific example is provided in the text. The 5-step design method and the compiled program have good operability and can complete the design of the marathon route very well. It has an excellent guiding value for the development and design of future marathon routes and can also be used to check the completed marathon routes. © International Journal of Ground Sediment & Water, ©Sun Jichao.
