This research opens a uniqueness of M. Rudenko's play "At the bottom of the sea" in the history of the Ukrainian dramatic art, indicates communication of the tragedy with works of the period of a socialist realism. Connection to the tragedy on ideological, imaginative, story and emotional level with works of Vs. Vishnevsky, M. Kulish, M. Hvil’ovii, O. Solzhenitsyn is exposed. This enables to widen scientific understanding of literary and artistic processes in the totalitarian Soviet Union. It is established that the play is a bright art judgment of history of the Ukrainian people of the 30-60-s of the XX century and the literary document that diagnoses a number of conflict zones in communistic society. The emphasis is placed on the author's skill who managed to disguise the anti-Soviet play under socialist realism canons and to achieve its statement by the Kiev academic theater of I. Franko. It is proved that tragedy played not just notable, but prominent role in the history of Ukrainian dramaturgy. From its inception until today it is on the edge of ideological and aesthetic art search. The article analyzes B. Lepky’s poetic legacy of creativity’s first period (1890–1899 years) in aspects of stylistic devices. The term ,,trope” is not discussed as a generic term in the modern literary criticism, at the same time there is still no unified approaches to the study of its species diversity. For a comprehensive analysis of B. Lepky’s poems we used the classification proposed by A. Tkachenko, which we consider as the most consequent and detailing. Contradictory aspects supplemented with assertions of other scientists. The results of the statistical examonation of B. Lepky’s metalogical language show that it based on comparison and metaphors. Metaphors are mainly based on transferring trait from ,,live” to ,,inanimate”. Epithet couples are mainly represented by common (folklore) samples, but occasional examples are also fixed. At least productive in the work of the poet were metonymy and hyperbole. Ironic speech was tested by B. Lepky only once. In general it can be argued that the poet felt language good and used it’s semantic potential masterfully. Art publicistic, created by writers, is characterized by direct influence into the phenomenon of the society. It forms people thinking, has strong influence onto the nationally oriented persons. There is the researching of paradigmatic relations as one of the ways of connections between lexical and semantic field’s «patriot» units in the article, which was created on the basis of modern Ukrainian and art publicistic. It is considered the meaning of contextual synonymy and antonime by the author of scientific studio. Using the lexical-graphical resources, it is represented the evolution of the lexeme «patriot». The phenomenon of patriotism is colored with such key words as Motherland and Native country and has a great importance for the renaissance of the Ukrainian idea. Information resources manipulation of the European Union languages with the use of innovative linguistic technology can not only save money of European companies and institutions, but also continue to nurture and develop internal resources of national languages of the European Community member states. Modern machine translation systems are based on algorithmic and statistical methods, where the first are the result of interpreter’s knowledge formalization and are created as a result of mutual cooperation between linguists and programmers; the basis of the second - automatic extraction of similar language pairs after processing a large number of bilingual bodies of text material. The summarized article defines the eurysemy as the lexico-semantic category, examines the functional peculiarities of the eurysemantic word thing in English and emphasizes its capacity to form set expressions. This article is aimed to show the ability of the word thing to reserve high degree of referencial correlation as a basic of phraseological units as well as to demonstrate the referential types of the basic word. Correspondingly two semantic components of the words were singled out i.e. denotational and referential as well as relevant definitions were given. The article also establishes the main mechanisms of forming semantics of the idioms with euryseme thing as the basic one. The article reveals that most of set expressions having the eurysemantic lexeme thing as the basic can denominate either generic or categorical meaning (as this single eurysemantic lexeme itself expresses). But the meaning of phraseological units is less abstract than the meaning of this lexeme because semantics of phraseological units always includes additional denotational-significative and/or connotative semes which narrow somewhat the semantics of the phraseological units in the context. The article studies the stylistic mechanisms of semantization and aesthetization of the Ukrainian translation of the Bible by I. Ohiienko and I. Khomenko. The individually-author features of the Holy Writ translation of these translators are determined. The synonymous and antonymous pairs of lexemes (nouns and verbs) are analyzed and tropic system (assonance, epithet, metaphor, simile, oxymoron, etc.) of the Ukrainian biblical texts of the XXth century are characterized. It is found that translations of the Holy Writ by I. Ohiienko and I. Khomenko are marked with the exemplary Ukrainian literary language, selecting proper Ukrainian lexical means and tropes that optimizes primarily emotional and expressive impact on the consciousness of the reader or listener. It is proved that the translations of the Bible by I. Ohiienko and I. Khomenko are stylistically and linguistically self-sufficient and are marked with saturation of language means, and it plays a significant role in the creation of the world linguistic picture of the Ukrainian people and plays linguistic traditions of certain time. The article is devoted to the range of problems covering teaching CAT-tools to students of translation departments. The author analyzes different types of CAT-tools and lists their advantages for translators which include higher productivity and easiness in ensuring terminology consistency and in translating the repeating segments. The article also describes possible advantages and disadvantages of using CAT-tools as a component of vocational training and emphasizes the necessity of scientific research aimed at developing a methodology of teaching CAT-tools to students of translation departments. In particular, the availability of a large quantity of information connected with these new technologies, notably the history of creation of the programs, their types, peculiarities of use etc., indicates the necessity of developing a theoretical course that will be supplemented with the acquisition of practical skills of using CAT tools. The present paper gives a short review on native and foreign strategies and tactics studies of presidential discourse. Basic notions of speech strategies and tactics in terms of modern communicative discourse paradigm were considered. Main strategies and tactics of presidential discourse were considered using Barack Obama 2007 and 2012 public speeches. Agitational strategy together with tactics of promise and appeal was analyzed. Distinctive features of promise tactics were considered. The relation between main concept of Barack Obama discourse and appeal tactics was found. The article deals with the role of Internet communication in the process of globalization. The author investigates system forming features of advertising discourse, their realization on formal-semiotic and intentional-pragmatic levels in the English and Ukrainian languages. The ways of exteriorization of emotions in written speech and peculiarities of their translation are being investigated on the basis of English advertising-literary discourse. Emotions are considered to be the main motivational system of human existence, which regulates all aspects of his life. Particular attention is focused on the pragmatic intention of the author of the text-Review in terms of emotion, which lies in its emotional expression and impact on the recipient.
