This article deals with the document-information communication, which was formed as a result of the activities of Lviv City Magistrate in matters of development and defense adjustment of Lviv City during the first half XVII century. The main criterion of role clarifying of the document is serves the exactly specific content of the document, which is defined by the necessity of public demand realization. The regulative – communication and management functions included the functional essence of document, displaying processes of the city walls and the relationship between the Magistrate and the burgers. Attempts development and defense adjustment of Lviv City during the first half XVII century was studied according to the documents of the City Council. It is established that at the beginning of the XVII century Lviv fortifications since the last reconstruction in the middle of the XVI century has not undergoing the major modifications. Therefore, the Lviv fortifications proceeded to decline gradually due to growing financial problems of the city and relatively peaceful period in the history of the Polish-Lithuanian Common wealth. The most saturated of information are minutes of meetings of the Magistrate. The protocol is fixed the direct language of participants in the conflict. The protocol is reflected of the then samples public speech, which increases the value of the monument. Also, the lustrations and revisions of city fortifications state and their weapons providing and ammunition is an important source based on which is traced the evolution and situation of the defense city construction and combat readiness of its defenders.

In the article to elucidated of the peasants’ migration movement of Kiev province in second half XIX – early XX century. Attention is paid to the causes, results and consequences of population movements for peasants land. Todirect the data on the scope of the relocation in 1896- 1905 to the East of Russian Empire in the opposite direction. The made a conclusion that the peasant movement of migration was natural for resettlement and local, but its very appearance was quite new. Resettlement was both economic and political and religious reasons.

Thith article is devoted to one of the aspects of state-church relations during the first decade of the Soviet regime in Ukraine aimed at substantial reduction of the Orthodox clergy. This process intensification was motivated by government’s intention to substantially weaken the Orthodox Church by tconomic pressure, internal splits, and detection of clergy representatives, ready to compromise with the government. Bolshevists used the activation of campaign of holy orders denial in antireligious propaganda and tried to persuade society in objective appropriate character of religion and church dying away.

The article analyzes the educational process, which took place in the villages Romanian occupation zone «Transnistria» in 1941- 1944. In particular characterized the functioning and activities of Odessa State University, as a single institution of higher education in gubernotorstvi. Considered scientific divisions, functioned in it, the conditions of admission and training, the quantitative composition of the students and the like. Considerable attention is paid to the study of the functioning of vocational training in the form of professional training institutions of various specialists for agriculture. Also, the occupation authorities organized various courses to improve the skills of workers for different production sectors. Particular attention is paid to the establishment and organization of primary education in rural areas governorship «Transnistria». Since primary education for the Romanian program was mandatory for the entire population, and the parents do not send their children to school without a good reason to pay a fine. Specially created by the parents' committee responsible for fundraising, school repairs and ensure decent conditions for training. Defined training program which runs educational process, items that were required for the study, characterized by knowledge assessment system. The academic year is divided into trimesters, at the end of each exhibited final at the end of the last trimester rose overall assessment for the year. The occupation authorities drew children in a variety of works, in the form of practice as one of the components of the educational process, which is also a grade. The school also had their own farms where grown these or other plant species. Providing schools with fuel, collection of medicinal plants, it is all included in the responsibilities of students.

The features of the socio-economic life of Ukrainian in the Russian Federation to reveals in article. The level of knowledge of the subject indicated in the national historiography. The analysis of employment characteristics of Ukrainian depending on their social class. Author analyzed forms of attracting Ukrainian Diaspora to the labour market of the Russian Federation. Based on the accumulated material specified Ukrainian economic activity, which is compared with the level of economic involvement of the other two major ethnic groups in Russia – Russians and Tatars. Thesis there is determined the main source of income ethnic Ukrainian, whose share has only one source of income. Followed relations with the Ukrainian Diaspora homeland, including cooperation in the socio-economic sphere. It is shown that the Ukrainian government directed efforts at reviving the practice of patronage over Ukrainian cities Diaspora in Russia. It was established that the share of Ukrainian represented in specific types of socio-economic activities, including driving singled out households. Based on the research conclusions that Ukrainian group made a single original society of the country of residence, taking with decent niche in social and economic life of Russia in 1989- 2010.

The article analyses the colonial state of Polish lands as a constituent part of states-empires: Russian, German and Austria- Hungarian at the beginning of the XXth century. Polish people were in the condition of cultural, economic and political discrimination, pressed by the empire domination. Difficult condition was combined with religious suppression of Polish people, it caused mass opposition of population. It is determined that revolutionary events of 1905-1907 in the Russian Empire contributed to the political activity of wide layers of population of the Polish Kingdom, Velikopolshcha and other Polish lands. It is found out that life conditions of the Polish population depended on the condition in the states-empires which divided Polish lands between themselves. It is investigated that at the beginning of the XXth century objective preconditions for revival of the independent state were formed in the Polish society.

The article deals with the cultural cooperation of Serbia's Ukrainians with foreign countries during the 80-90-ies years of the twentieth century. Typically, Ukrainians of Serbia directed their international activities primarily on communication with arts and cultural and community organizations in Ukraine, which was caused by natural draft to the land of their origin and compatriots, with which was extremely difficult communicate in Soviet times. Contacts with representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora institutions in other countries abroad developed less frequently. By starting successfully establish the contacts from the mid-80s, in the early 90s of the twentieth century Ukrainians of Serbia had to adapt to the new social and political realities caused by the collapse of Yugoslavia, the Soviet Union and changes in the whole Central and Eastern Europe. On the one hand, the consolidation of democratic norms, as a result of geopolitical changes, contributed to the international dialogue, on the other - a series of crises that accompanied these changes complicated the process of establishing links with the Ukrainians of Serbia with international community. The cooperation primarily was distributed to the geographically closest countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. In contacts with Ukraine was observed a certain pattern - an attempt to combine communication in the cultural sphere with material support that could be given to the Ukrainians of Serbia during the military conflicts that continued there in 90 years of XX century. Ukrainian organization of Serbia in the 80-90-ies years of XX century did not have stable and regular international connections with foreign countries. However, each time at least one association represented Ukrainians of Serbia at some international event. Similar forums consolidated Ukrainians, as well as representatives of other nations who lived outside their country of origin.

In the article on the basis of study monographs and periodical literature were outlines certain directions of formation of the historiographical tradition of study the origin and formation of the princely power institute in Russia and its influence on the formation of statehood in the eastern Slavs. Imperial Russian historians as modern Russian historians hold the view that the history of Kievan Rus belongs to a united indivisible Russian nation and Ukrainian and Belarusian nations is its subgroups, their culture and language – is accordingly variants of Russian culture and dialects of the Russian language, rather than separate language and cultural phenomena. Russian westerners and slavophiles, according to their own ideas about the ways of Russian development talked about the beginnings of princely power and dynastic kinship of Moscow- Russian princes with the Rurik dynasty. Westerners were willing to identify legend about calling Vikings to Rus with contemporary European state creation tradition. They emphasized the similarity of legends about the origin of medieval European states. Slavophiles linked the emergence of Rus statehood with Orthodox Byzantine tradition. They emphasized the Slavic origin of Vikings and called princes. Soviet historians have written about the Kievan Rus as the cradle of three fraternal peoples. The historians always had a problem of finding sources which could fill their own thoughts and interpretations about the origin of princely power institute in the eastern Slavs. In Soviet medieval studies ruled the Marxist approach which put forward on the first place the evolution of socio-economic relations in the eastern Slavs. Ukrainian historiography, on the contrary, considers Kievan Rus as fundamental Ukrainian state and asserts that the differences between the Russians and Ukrainians were visible and quite substantial during medieval times. Despite the significant results of the scientific research that defined the ideological and political and historical views of scientists on the origin of the state and the princely dynasty in Rus, now is again rised the discussion related to membership rights to be called Slavic state between Ukrainian and Russian medievalists. Half-forgotten viewings and seemingly desires returned only a scientific issue into the mainstream of ideological confrontation. There are works, which prove Slavic origin of Vikings and Rurik, and also of the Kyiv princely dynasty. «Cursed questions» of Ruthenian history doesn't want to go into the past.

The article examines the history and development of scientific research in Computer Science and automation of production processes in the Odessa National Polytechnic University during the second half of the XX – XXI century. In the context of achieving the goal of research is defined the content of basic historical developments on the subject of the study, clarified the basic facts of scientific thought on the history of formation and development of science in Odessa National Polytechnic University during the mentioned period, determined the main factors and conditions that affect the subject and effectiveness of scientific research at the university. It is found that the scientific research in Computer Science and Cybernetics in the Odessa Polytechnic University was established back in 1954, when the Department of automation of production processes has been organized. This department started their search activity by scientific groups, which currently ensure the conducting of scientific research in the field of automation, programming, computer, information and intelligent systems. The basic results of research of scientists of the University during this historical period: the creation of specialized information of measuring systems of tensometry and the development of methods and means of automated synthesis and design of electronic controlling and monitoring devices, as well as informationmeasuring and computer facilities, the development of technology and image processing, pattern recognition, intelligent systems, computer networks. The main factors influence the effectiveness of scientific research at the university: the availability of trained and erudite scientific personnel; the role of heads of departments of universities in the deployment areas of scientific research, tailored to the basic of the branch; the extent of communication of the university researchers with the representatives of academic and industrial spheres.
