In this article cognitive, activity and personal components of the content of school biology education at the present stage of its development are substantiated on the basis of the theoretical analysis. There are also shown their features in the context of trends in the renovation of science education. Analysis of the biological component of «Natural Science» educational field in the State Standard, curriculum and biology's textbooks, based on the implementation of these components has allowed defining their contribution to achieving the objectives biology education of secondary schools students. The relevance and the prospect of the content of school biological education constructing, based on the combination of natural science and humanitarian aspects are also specified in the article.

The article deals with the urgent issue of the students’ speech development. The interconnection between the written and oral forms of speech is mentioned. Exercises and tasks on the culture of written speech formation are collected. The author offers different kinds of traditional and non-traditional dictations and provides the methodology of how to conduct them. The texts are taken from belles-lettres, history, arts, social and cultural contexts. They are professionally-orientedand are characterized on several levels: phonetics and phonemic, lexico-semantic, orthoepic, morphologic and syntactic. The attention is focused on the interconnection between the level of a person’s speech competence and the ability to feel confident in different communication situations.

In the article adult education development in Ireland and Ukraine is described, the comparative analysis of current trends of adult education development in Ireland and Ukraine is given, the characteristics of basic forms and content of adult education in both countries is examined. On the basis of the study authors make the effort to find out common and different in Irish adult education to Ukraine and form recommendations for the use of progressive ideas of the Irish experience in developing the system of adult education in Ukraine.

The article analyzes the content of the main program documents of international environmental forums in the period from the first International Conference on Environmental Education in 1977, Tbilisi to the eighth World Environmental Education Congress in 2015, Gothenburg. The strategic directions of development of environmental education according to the international community are indicated. Changing objectives from environmental education to education for sustainable development are offered. The article highlights poverty reductions, promotion of a green economy, the formation of national educational policy as the modern trends of environmental education.

The article discloses the substantial features of the preparation of future bachelor of philology to the use of ICT in the future professional activity. The study found that during a bachelor of philology to the use of ICT in their future professional activities focus on the formation: the system personally significant views that determine the need for receiving, processing and transmitting information data, the application of ICT in the learning stage and future professional activities; system of knowledge and skills from the technical system, the software component of ICT; Complex skills and abilities of students to work with the information data, the use of ICT in educational and professional activities; self-test the impact of its activities.

The article is devoted to the study of peculiarities formation of phonological knowledge at students with severe speech disorders (SSD) in special educational institutions in the process of mastering school knowledge. Theoretical analysis of linguistic, psychological, educational, speech therapy, psycholinguistic and methodical literature on the study showed that the problem of formation of language and speech competence of students with SSD is relevant, but understudied. Determined that the phonological structure includes sufficient knowledge generated phonemic perception, phonemic representation, auditory attention and control, sound analysis and synthesis. In intelligence indicated that a sufficient number of phonological knowledge on a practical level is manifested in the ability to perceive the actual speech and speech of others, select the required phonemes for their combination of words and their expression, the ability to isolate a sound of words, sentences of text, the ability to control their speech and correct errors, and so on. Indicated that on the basis of knowledge of students with severe speech disorders acquire lexical, grammatical and syntactical knowledge and skills, which are formed in the designated category with a kind of specificity and complexity.

The article presents the control system of future economists’ educational achievements in the process of studying mathematical disciplines, which aims at improving students’ quality of mathematical preparation and includes the following components: substantive, functional, managerial and technological. Peculiarities of the program application "OpenTEST" for testing students have been examined. It has also been presented the structure of the information packages on mathematical disciplines to ensure transparency of the educational process and maximum awareness of future specialists according to all aspects of the organization and control. Requirements for individual tasks development system and methodical materials of practice and oriented nature for students’ independent work have been described. Further researches prospects which are connected with system control introduction of future economists’ educational achievements during studying mathematical disciplines have been presented.

The article deals with thr history of the terms «polycultural» and «multicultural». It also gives a review of the views of modern scientists as for policultural education in foreign countires is concerned, namely the issue of the mentined above terms usage with the aim of revealing the semantic field of each of the terms and drawng the sphere of each of the terms’ usage, possible overlapping or ex-changing the terms in certain contexts. The article provides review of both American, European, and Russin scholars on the problem and states the difference between the terms «polycultural» and «multicultural». The author points out the possibility of the terms usage in Ukrainian scientific discourse and she also states differences and similarities of the terms usage in American and European scientific discourse. The author proposes the usage of only one term in Ukrainian scientific discourse.
