Having analyzed the concepts "herbarium" and "museum" authors have come to conclusion that it is necessary to consider the Herbarium as a research museum of a natural-scientific structure and botanical profiling which creates, stores and scientifically processes the collections of the plants dried out aflat. In order to safe the herbal collection it is necessary to arouse the question about the creation of the uniform ''Instructions on the account, storage and restoration of the herbal collection in the establishments of Ukraine'' to the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine.

The phenomenon of the determined chaos, nonlinear dynamics and instability are described by the nonlinear differential equations. It led to the formation of a new direction of researches and allowed to describe new classes of unstable dynamic systems which behaviour is chaotic. On this ground, the ideas that such fundamental characteristics of animate and inanimate nature as instability, unbalance and nonlinearity are being persisted. The principles and methods of polyalternative development researches, which are based on instability of biosystems of a different level of the organization, have been considered in the article. Instability arising in dynamic systems creates conditions for surgent transition of the system into a new condition.

The reproductive effort dynamics in different life-strategy plant populations are reviewed. Calamagrostis epigeios (L.) Roth, Adenostyles alliariae (Gouan) A.Kerner and Veronica baumgartenii Roemer & Schultes reproductive sphere functioning due to ecological and coenotic condition changes have been studied. Resource allocation into the sexual reproduction and cloning is analyzed. Possibility of the reproductive effort index application in cause of cloning has been revealed.

Шляхом експериментальних досліджень встановлено індикаційну здатність високоінвазійного виду рослин Impatiens glandulifera Royle реагувати на зміни природних умов за результатами вуглецево-ізотопного (13C %) аналізу. Нами виявлено взаємозв’язок між концентрацією ізотопу вуглецю в листях і стеблах цього виду та затіненням середовища, родючістю ґрунту, а також генеративними параметрами рослини. Між різними популяціями виду не встановлено достовірної різниці в накопиченні ізотопу вуглецю.

The results of systematic analysis of vascular plants flora of Nadsyansky Regional Landscape Park is presented. The estimation of the level of regional representativeness of the park flora's is given.

During the period from the end XIX century to beginning XXI century on the Ciscarpathia area were registered for a fact 91 species of the land molluscs. The absence of the certain species in the collections of the end XX – beginning XXI centuries is not without fail by the result of the intensification of the anthropogenic influence. During the XX century on the Ciscarpathia area were appeared the synanthropic species Monacha carthusiana, Cepaea hortensis, Boettgerilla pallens possibly the certain other species of the slugs. Fauna of the land molluscs of the northwest part of the Ciscarpathia area is strong differed from remaining territory by poorer species composition, almost full absence of the Carpathians endemic species, sharp reduction of the quota of the forest species.

A total of 125 species/subspecies of caddis flies was identified in 6,745 adults collected by different methods (mainly with light traps and hand net) by the authors in the Ukrainian Carpathians in years 1994-2007. As much as 18 species are recorded for the first time for Ukraine and two from the Ukrainian Carpathians. Verified identifications of adult caddis flies collected in the Ukrainian Carpathians and the Lviv region in the end of 19th and the beginning of 20th centuries deposited in the National Museum, Praha are presented.

During 2005-2007 years the fauna of springtails was investigated in flood plain oak and poplar natural, anthropogenic disturbed and artificial forests of the Transcarpathian Lowland. The list of Collembola in 10 biotopes investigated has been compiled basing on the original data. It includes 125 species belonging to 61 genera and 15 families. Taxonomical core of the springtail fauna in the flood plain forests is formed by such families as Isotomidae, Entomobryidae and Onychiuridae. The fauna of Collembola is characterized by predominance of forest and euritopic species and numerous group of hygrophilous species. As results of anthropogenic management, the changes of hydrological regime in flood plain forests give rise to appearance of xerophilous collembolan species preferring the open areas and to decrease in numbers of hygrophilous species.

The communities of soil Microarthropoda at 2003-2004 years on the territory, which is devastated by sulphur-minery industry within the area of technogenous landscape of Yavoriv S.M.C.E. "Sirka" (Lviv region) were investigated. The features of its forming by a process of demutative succession are ascertained. The characteristic of qualitative and quantitative indicators is given for soils and substrates of technical minery embankments with diverse composition and genesis (embankments of technical rocks, territories of underground sulphur smelting, hydro-embankment, tail-reservoirs).

New methods for definition of energetical characteristics of organic matter soils are offered. Calculation of calorific abilities humus is available on the basis of its group structure. In case of absence of the data of humus qualitative structure, soils energetical consumption can be determined by the formula on the basis of the humus contents in soil.
