The article discusses the transformation of sensual cognition into imagination models using simplification. They constitute levels of cognitive activities of a learner in the process of gaining knowledge. Stages in sensual perception are shown in the context of teaching-learning. The article also presents the functioning of senses such as sight, smell, hearing, taste, touch, kinaesthetic and balance and their role in creating imagination models.

Fachowa edukacja medyczna ma istotny wpływ na przebieg procesu leczenia pacjentów, zwłaszcza w przypadku chorób przewlekłych. Do tej grupy chorób należy cukrzy-ca. Ze względu na fakt, że co roku odnotowuje się stały wzrost zachorowań na tę jednostkę chorobową, uznawana jest ona za chorobę cywilizacyjną. Rzetelna wiedza o przyczynach cu-krzycy, objawach i sposobie leczenia służy poprawie funkcjonowania pacjentów i daje lepsze rokowania na pomyślny proces terapeutyczny. Pozyskiwanie informacji o tematyce zdrowot-nej, ich przetwarzanie i przekładanie na konkretne zachowania służące utrzymaniu zdrowia, zależne jest od poziomu kompetencji zdrowotnych prezentowanych przez pacjentów. Kompe-tencje zdrowotne są również niezwykle ważnym elementem w procesie podejmowania racjo-nalnych i świadomych decyzji w procesie leczenia.

The aim of the article is to show job search methods used by people with disabilities in the context of own research results. This study is a narrow part of the analyzes related to the issue of vocational activation of this group of people. The first part of the study contains a theoretical introduction, the second part presents respondents' answers to questions related to factors influencing the decision to search for employment, the preferred methods in this respect and the frequency of contact with the labour market. The results of the study showed that the factor influencing the decision to look for a job was primarily the desire to raise the material status, the need for greater independence and being among people, changing the current life-style and the need to improve skills and develop interests. It is worth noting that people with disabilities most often use less-effective job search methods and also have low activity in this area.

The idea of inclusive education in recent years has become more and more significant in educational theory and practice, both Polish and Lithuanian. Its first premises appeared in international politics with the adoption in 1994 of the Declaration of Salamanca (UNESCO, 1994), which called for the implementation of the idea of ‘education for all’, for reducing the phenomenon of social exclusion and marginalization of students particularly exposed to it. According to the declaration, every child, regardless of his ability, but taking into account his individual characteristics, interests, abilities and learning needs should be provided with the opportunity of receiving education in the setting of school integration. Special educational needs of students should be satisfied in the so called regular schools, which requires the design of a new school model, one prepared to work with students with diverse needs and abilities. These assumptions are close to the idea of inclusive education, even though the authors of the declaration signed back in the 90s used the term: integrative education.

We use the notion of axiology quite often because we live for values and it is values we constantly need. Discovery or attribution of values is based on the process of evaluation, which is an indispensable element of human life and the key aspect of being human. We may ask, then, what is values education? The most condensed yet the most profound definition was offered by Pope Saint John Paul II, who said that values education consisted in shaping one's own humanity: „Education onsists in fact in enabling man to become more man, to «be» more and not just to «have» more and consequently, through everything he «has», everything he «possesses», to «be» man more fully. For this purpose man must be able to «be more» not only «with others», but also «for others”1. The article presents reflections concerning a current and alarming phenomena, namely the crisis of values, decline of customs, alienation of the individual, the necessity of demonstrating the special role of the Polish language in the promotion of universal values and humanistic ideals among school students in the context of axiological Polish language education. Interest in the questions just indicated stems from the fact that values pertain to the fundamental principles of human existence. We treat them as a particularly important element of reality which imparts sense on human desires, hopes and expectations.

The subject of the presented work was the attempt to find a tool for verification of the candidates for voluntary workers in a hospice and decreasing the danger of a negative influence of an incompetent volunteer on a person in a terminal stage of disease and his or her relatives. Abilities of volunteers were checked by the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). The way of performing tasks was assessed both objectively (using the check list) and subjectively (as a general impression the examiner had). The subjective assessment and standardized assessment were correlated significantly positively with each other. The usefulness of the exam has been confirmed in practice. Carrying out this type of an exam allowed, therefore, to avoid unnecessary trauma by both potential candidates for volunteers and by the persons whom they would take care while working in the hospice.

The article presents a current diagnosis of the state of education and work in regulated medical professions1 – technician pharmacist and pharmacist based on the legal basis for performing professions, educational standards, curricula, occupational tasks and the work environment. The specifics of the phar-macists' workplace were presented, as well as statutory requirements regarding management positions, drug sales requirements, differences in entitlements, and professional responsibility were analyzed. It was shown that the pharmacist, due to the broader catalog of professional qualifications, fulfills all patients 'rights, the technician pharmacist does not implement all patients' rights because of the narrower scope of education. The technician pharmaists to obtain a master's degree in pharmacy should complete a universi-ty education.The applicable legislation does not provide for the technician's pharmaceutist qualifications to be supplemented to the level of a pharmacist in the form of qualifying professional courses.

The paper presents an analysis of scientific research and educational innovations that support the transformation of vocational education of doctor Krzysztof Symela carried out mainly in the Centre for the Research and Development of Vocational Education at the Insti-tute for Sustainable Technologies – National Research Institute in Radom. Using the method of biographical research, analysis of documentation (projects), participant observation, we present his professional and scientific development, research results on: work, competences, qualifica-tions and job descriptions, development and implementation of innovative programmes, tech-nologies of education in national and international cooperation networks.
