Te analysis outlined in this paper discusses the attitudes of the European borders in relation to the challenges posed by external migration fows. Special attention is given to the way Europe, through the Schengen Agreement, establishes a strategic combination between the free movement of certain categories of people and the blocking of many other “unwanted” mobilities. At the same time, the paper briefy considers the identity policies underlying the selectivity of the Schengen area and their impact on a post-national and cosmopolitan European project.

Tis essay has a qualitative research approach and a descriptive scope, therefore the methodology used for its construction corresponds to the documentary or bibliographical review that would allow analyzing the role of judges in the difuse control of constitutionality, in the context of Colombian neoconstitutionalism. Te main fnding is that the role of judges in a legal system should not be understood as the fulfllment of pre-establish, mechanical functions, but they must obey the social con- text in which they work and go hand in hand with the development of peoples signifcantly marked by the evolution of the law governing them. Tus, neoconstitutionalism as legal theory takes into account, among other things, the study of new forms, concepts, and procedures arising from modern constitutions and posing challenges to all institutions, including the judiciary. Te system of difuse control of constitutionality is one of the fgures that demand to be analyzed, structured and accepted as a challenge in the light of the Colombian experience and context.

Tis proposal seeks to highlight the importance and relevance of systematizing experiences of working with groups of adult males to recognize and inspect educational, pedagogical and didactic practices. Te purpose is to contribute to the creation of a theoretical corpus on education to consolidate these group works, in order to recognize the most signifcant pedagogical, didactic, and methodological aspects in this experience, consolidating them into a defned methodological proposal; while de- veloping and disseminating documents to support and guide the work of teachers and other agents connected to the topic. Freedom – its exercise and its ownership- has been a recurring theme throughout the history of thought. Nonetheless, each author who has approached it has interpreted it in a diferent way, even within the same school of thought. Tus, this study aims at comparing and contrasting the diferent visions of freedom of three of the most infuential intellectuals of the twentieth century: F. Hayek, Isaiah Berlin and J. Rawls. Tis comparison of doctrines will lead to the conclusion that liberal freedom shifs between self-determination and recognition. Trough the major texts of the three authors and others, and using an analytical-comparative methodology, the article manages to outline the diferent shapes of liberal freedom and its links with self-determination and recognition
