En el año 2004, la abogada Gina Chávez y el antropólogo Fernando García publicaron con el apoyo financiero de Petroecuador, el auspicio del Consejo de Desarrollo de las Nacionalidades y Pueblos del Ecuador (CODENPE) y la Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) el libro titulado: El derecho a ser: diversidad, identidad y cambio, Etnografía jurídica indígena y afroecuatoriana. En dicho libro los autores argumentan que “el derecho estatal es en sí mismo plural, porque está afectado por otros órdenes normativos, el derecho internacional, el transnacional y también por las legalidades no estatales (los sistemas de derecho indígena y afro- ecuatoriano en este caso)” De esta forma, a partir de estudios de caso en pueblos kichwa, achuar y shuar de la Amazonia y en el pueblo afroecuatoriano del norte de la provincia de Esmeraldas, los autores recopilan y analizan información sobre sistemas de derecho indígena y afroecuatoriano, e igualmente entregan pistas determinantes sobre la práctica del derecho ancestral.

This article arises from a counseling process to an investigation of socio-cultural practice that just took place in Bogota Spain with the support of the local mayor of Martyrs and ALEPH research group composed of Luis Ernesto Corredor Hatch; Katherine Alvarado Contreras; Luis Carlos Almeida and Angela Montenegro Sierra Maria Botero. A vision of broad and diverse public, through the participation and analysis when looking pedagogical solutions from cultural processes was obtained. The community of ragpickers in the Plaza Spain have a tradition in the history of the Colombian capital of more than 60 years, which is nourished not only of the landmarks, the events that unfolded here, or film records documentaries about these, but feeds on the experience and the experiences that are narrated by its own protagonists, who with their lives and from the daily build history, the main objective is to understand and demonstrate cultural practices performed by ropavejeros to keep time a commercial activity for the most vulnerable, such as the sale of used clothing in good quality.

The Embera Chamí of Cristiania is a community located in the jurisdiction of Jardín, south-eastern Antioquia. This study integrates community perceptions about their body and body image. This anthropological analysis evidenced the relation between body perception felt and lived, prevention and monitoring the preventing recommendations. The objective of this research was to study men and women self-perception of their corporal dimensions. The study was designed to implement ethnographic information and interviews, combining qualitative data with quantitative data and anthropometric size and body shape measurements. Body Mass Index perception is similar to the other nonindigenous societies, as men tend to underestimate their BMI and women to overestimate it. Weight increase is prevalent in relation to women’s age and dietary pattern.

Transitional Justice is touted from a normative perspective in Colombia since 2005. Laws such as 975 of 2005 “Justice and Peace”, 1424 2010 “on the historical contribution agreements for the truth,” 1448 2011 “of victims and land restitution” and Legislative Act 001 of 2012 “legal for Peace “framework have been uttered since then. These laws and norms have had differing perspectives and balances. This document proposes a strategy to find a balance regarding the implementation of these legislative instruments from international standards protecting the rights of victims. It also proposes to develop general proposals for a transitional justice paradigm that departs from the conflict scenario to one of peace and that unchecks itself from to conflict of pseudodemocracy real and effective democracy.

This paper argues that the film Rosario Tijeras is a film that can be seen as feminist, Rosario Tijeras is an empowered woman who tells her own story. This considering that the empowerment focused from the feminist movement and gender implies that women’s access equally to the material, intellectual and ideological assets out of which to make decisions about their bodies and their lives, it is understood that no in all cases empowerment occurs positively but can manifest as confrontation with the social structure. In this sense it plays a key role context. Rosario Tijeras lives in a context defined by men, but in the course of history is taking decisions about her body and her live at the cost of their own safety, becoming a transgressor. The analysis is based on: 1. the proposal for Scott, who breaks down the elements of gender identity in this work and function as categories; semiotic analysis based on Cirlot and Tresidder; and 2. The formal through the background description and use of film language analysis.

This work employs actor-network theory to reflect on the mediations that determined who made the proclamation of Law 975 of 2005 (Law of Justice and Peace). There were various human and non-human actors enrolled with the objective of issuing a law that led to a process of impunity and legitimation of paramilitary actions in Colombia. The legal sphere became an arena where the interests of the perpetrators confronted the interests of the victims in a political game that places the latter in new situations in which they are still the victims.

From discussing the implications of national identity and nationalism and presenting some of the trajectories around the concept of identity, this paper challenges these conceptions, through inquiry in a transnational experience: the migration. Through the narratives of Colombian migrants, it examines how national identity is recreated and define doutside the national territory.
