The analysis of cytogenetic anomalies frequency in peripheral blood cells and bone marrow cells at three groups carp was carry out. Groups carp belong to various intra-breed types (scale carp, few-scale carp, frame carp), which breeding in economy “Nivka” of the Institute of Fish- eries of the UAAS. Not observed intra-group and inter-group differences to frequencies of cells with micronuclei and binuclear cells. However there is wide individual variability to number of chromosomes in bone marrow cells. Thus, for fish the frequencies of cells with micronuclei and binuclear cells are objective character of cytogenetic stability.
Experimental materials are presented on the recreation of Russian sturgeon with the purpose to create collection mother herd and its replenishment at Azov Sea and Black Sea. Biological description is given of spawners fished-out in Azov Sea, as well as results of caviar incubation and growing of larvae to the viable stages.
The analysis of the development state and prospects of “Lviv oblribokombinat” fish-farming is conducted. It is shown, that rise of pond fish-productivity , improvement of fish gravimetric standards and its quality it is possible by during realization of industry intensification measures only. It is shown that commodity two-year carps weighing 0.8–1.0 kg can be got having of finger- lings weighing 59 grammes.
In article are brought given about test preparation “Izatizon” on contemporary of carp. As a result of studies is installed that beside fish, which took the preparation “Izatizon” exists increa- sing of the contents of the haemoglobin, the general squirrel, phagocytic activity neutrophils, bacteriostatic activity of blood serum, became stabilized the picture white shelters, increased the functional activity T- and B- lymphocyte. Preparation “Izatizon” can be recommended for increas- ing immune status contemporary of carp.
After treatment of carp, ill оn aeromonosis, ву bringing in water preparation “Vitane”, the significant higher level of total protein in blood serum and the higner activity of antioxidant en- zymes (SOD, glutathione peroxidase, katalase) in erythrocytes, than in ill control fishes without treatment, were revealed. After treatment of ill carp perorally ву preparation of vitane, the greater content of peroxidative oxidation products in blood plasma and the higher activity of antioxidant enzymes were discovered, in comparison with the fishes of control group.
There have been presented particularities of peled Coregonus peled (G) biology in mother wa- ter bodies, its requirements for habitat conditions as well as considered technological schemes of fish raising in various types of fish farming enterprises. There have been proposed ways of peled introduction into water bodies of Ukraine.
There have been analyzed biological parameters of pikeperch in commercial and control catches on the Kakhovka reservoir. We showed unrational distribution of commercial fishery load by age groups, which affects mortality parameters and significantly decreases expected commercial return from each generation. Measures of pikeperch harvest optimization were proposed.
There have been presented results of a retrospective analysis and assessment of current state of fishery in the Dnieper River reservoirs. Efficiency of measures on creation and exploitation of the reservoirs’ resource base were analyzed. Priority trends of scientific researches on the cascade of the Dnieper River reservoirs were defined.
There have been presented quantitative and qualitative parameters of phyto- and zooplankton of the Kremenchuk reservoir at current time. With the aid of regression analysis, we found statisti- cally significant dependencies between vegetation level of different size groups of phytoplankton and quantitative and qualitative composition of major systematic zooplankton groups as well as among its dominant organisms.
The study reveals results of researching the ecological state of the Bug estuary hydrosystem in the zone of bottom excavation operations conducted by the potassium terminal “NIKA-TERA”. Damages to the hydroecosystem are theoretically grounted and calculated; ways of paying the damages are proposed.

There are defined priority tasks of scientific support of Ukrainian fisheries according to the program “Fish Farming” — “scientific support of aquaculture development and increase of ef- ficiency of aquatic bioresources use in inland waters of Ukraine” in the framework of scientific and technical programs of the Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences. There are presented data on basic trends of research works of the Institute of Fisheries of the UAAS, which are aimed at fulfillment of a number of fundamental and applied tasks regarding maintenance of sustainable development and study of biological resources of aquatic ecosystems, selection and genetics in fisheries, diagnosis, prevention and control of fish diseases, development of new ecologically and economically appropriate approaches of aquaculture implementation taking into account last tendencies in the management process.
Comparisal analysis the frequency cytogenetic anomalies (erythrocytes with micronucleus, leukocytes with micronucleus, binuclear leukocytes) in the blood cells of carp (scaly carp, galician carp, frame carp) and posterity of hybridization scaly carp ? european carp) was carry out. The stable chromosomal apparatus had scaly carp, the unstable — hybridization population.
Meaningful influence of a different quality of nativ sperm of carp on the indexes of its safety at estimation of different stages of the chosen method of kryopreservation is set: temperature adaptation of 60?74%, selection of kryoprotector of 51?67%, freezing-thawing 54?65%. It is shown that by a basic limiting factor determining efficiency are 60±5% kryopreservation of carp sperm, there is the chosen mode of freezing, efficiency of realization of which makes 73±3%.
There have been present results of artificial reproduction of the Danube salmon in Ukraine from broodfish bred in captivity is described. It is noted that conditions of growing, which do not correspond to natural conditions, slow down growth and maturation of fish. There have been developed methods of extraction of sexual products, fertilization eggs incubation and growing of larvae.
Comparative estimation of rearing of two-years and three-years of carp hybrids by mass 820 grammes in polyculture and by fish-productivity of fattening ponds 14–14,4 tones from one hec- tare of pond is pointed.
It was found that biologically active substances of zooplankton extracts positively affect sur- vival of common, silver and bighead carps embryos and larvae at hatchery rearing. We proposed a simple schema to obtain and use zooplankton extracts, which allow increasing larval survival by 10–20% when rearing fish in hatcheries.
The article generally describes data as for the quantity of lipid content in fibers of fish; also the role of lipid peroxidation processes and antioxidant protection in forming of adaptive abilities of fish organism under the influence of ecological stress.
The experimental data on the study of level of standard exchange of the larvaes of channel catfish are resulted. It was determined on speed of consumption by them the oxygen in time unit. It is set, that a standard exchange of larvaes of channel catfish correlates with their mass and is expressed by equalization: Q=0,635W0,80 (mgO2/ekz/hour). Set to dependence can be used both for the decision of power expenses on exchange processes of larvaes of channel catfish, and for the determination of their food necessities.
The levels of pikes limphosarcomatozis disease in the Kiev and Kanev storage pools depending on time of year are studied. Possibility of application of polymerase chain reaction for diagnostics of pikes retrovirus is shown.
For the first time in a fish ponds on the south of Ukraine, there has been found hepaticolosis of common carp and silver carp juveniles. There have been presented results of studies of effected fish and nematoda Schulmanela petruschewskii (Hepaticola petruschewski), live specimens of which were found in fish liver.
The study analyses several empirical methods used for estimation of fish natural mortality. There has been examined a potential of utilization of these techniques for commercial fishes of the Kremenchuk reservoir and natural mortality coefficients of five major commercial fish species: bream, roach, silver bream, crucian carp, and pikeperch have been estimated on their basis.
Decline of fish and fish product production amounts in Ukraine within last few years con- siderably affected the level of consumption of population with these products. It was fourd that provision with domestic fish products is only 6 kg per capita. The deficiency is covered by import. Taking into account availability of potential of Ukraine in the problem of supplying population with high-quality fish products, the State policy should be directed on assistance to the increase of efficiency of functioning of fishery complex and on the creation of necessary conditions for increasing production amount of competitive domestic fish products.
