It is shown the state of world fisheries and aquaculture in selected regions and countries, the direction of future development, improve the consumption of fish and fishery products by world population and improve the aquatic ecosystem.
The article analyses length and weight of different age groups of silver and bighead carps and their hybrids. There is presented dynamics of their linear and weight gains. A culmination of length and ichthyomass gains for all studied fishes was determined. It was proposed to transfer the commercial harvest pressure to the time of the ichtyomass culmination beginning.
There has been studied the effect of water content on changes of pH and gas regime of spawn- ing areas of phytophilous fish by the example of the Kremenchuk reservoir. It was found that in floodplain zones of the reservoir, the highest effect on changes of water pH and temperature is caused by annual water content. In channel parts, the given dependencies are observed between water temperature and water content. It was shown for the first time a positive effect of specific concentration of free carbon dioxide on viability of eggs of phytophilous fish.
Using the Dneprodzerzhinsk reservoir as an example, there have been determined basic indices, which characterized linear and weight growth of bream. There has been analyzed the relationship between the weight growth rate and commercial catches. There has been assessed the role of indi- vidual weight indices in the bream population ichthyomass formation and its commercial stock.
Рresented results researches of productive indexes of stream trout of the Irshava river, exhibited possibility of it is artificial reproductions and determined optimum length and mass of marketable fish for exploitation self-reproducing populations in the mountain rivers of region of Carpathians.
The complete checklist of monogonont rotifers of the Order Ploima found in Ukraine is comple- ted on the base of literature and authors’ data and consists of 565 species-level taxa belonging to 69 genera and 18 families. Information on distribution of species within Ukraine and their ecology is given. The second part of the list includes 7 families (Proalidae, Epiphanidae, Trichotriidae, Myti- linidae, Lepadellidae, Euchlanidae, Brachionidae), 28 genera and 223 species and subspecies.
There are given researches results on biological status of Acipenseridae species populations in the Azov Sea. The distribution of sturgeon fishes on water area of the Azov Sea has studied. Recommendations on restoration of number of natural sturgeon populations are made.
It was explored the periods between the spawning seasons of the females of the Russian stur- geon. The exploration was carried out on the Kazan sturgeon fish-factory. (Region of Astrakhan, Russia). It was determined that the periods between the spawning seasons were shortened on the average to 3 years by the iteratively matured fishes in the factory setting. For pislyanerestovoyi rehabilitation for females, in which the term maturation in the factory is reduced to two years, recommended the use of vitamin injections.
Filed comparative analysis of fish-breeding and biological results of the spawning campaign in 2010 with domestication beluga spawners on Kizansk fish-farm (Astrakhan, Russia). We give suggestions for improving the exposure of beluga srawners.
The results of growing of marine finfishess are resulted in ponds and sadkakh. It is rotined that the controlled growing of grey mullet and flounder finfishess it is possible identically suc- cessfully to conduct in freshwater and saltwater reservoirs in mono- and polyculture. It provides the receipt of high products and output of commodity fish.
The possibilities of passive catch plastic traps “AST” using for the checking of effectiveness of grass carp larvae breeding up in spawning and feeding ponds were established. This method allows to check in the same time the growth intensity and survival of larvae and to control the stage of feeding base (zooplankton) in the ponds.
It has been investigated genetic structure of the Ukrainian carps from “Irkliivrybgosp” Cherkasy region according to distribution of alleles and genotypes of electrophoretic variants of particular locuses. It has been established breed-specific peculiarities of genetic structure according to in- vestigated locuses. The observable and expected levels of average heterozygosity on each locus were counted.
According to the results of two variants of wintering interbreed crosses obtained governmental at the mirror and scaly lines tremlyanskogo carp, the comparative characteristic of survival and loss of body weight of yearlings different origin. As a result, a comprehensive assessment established the most winter-hardy of the group and individual crosses.
With the purpose of maintainance of activity of enzyme systems in tissues of red Californian worms their organism was cooled and it was treated by acetone with the subsequent making of starter feed. Feeding this feed larvae of goldfish and carp for 20 days led to more intensive growth and survival of individuals compared with feeding by dry pellets from worms or zooplankton (rotifers).
There are presented study results on activity of superoxide mutase, catalase and glutathione peroxidase as well as the content of malone dialdehyde and dien conjugates in liver, blood, myo- cardium, muscles and gills of scaled and framed carps of Antoninsky-Zozulenets intrabreeding type. High activity of antioxidant enzymes of tissues of framed carp is caused by metabolism processes intensity.
Investigated the distribution of heavy metals levels in parts of hydro-eco-system (water, sedi- ments, phyto-and zooplankton, zoobenthos, organs and tissues of carp fish) of OAO “Sumyrybhosp” ponds in case of the intensive three-year fish breeding technology. A comparative analysis was conducted and determined the level of contamination of the hydro-eco-system parts with heavy metals by the mean of the coefficients and level of accumulation.
Presented a literature review of factors affecting the spread of the virus of pancreatic necrosis in salmon. Discusses the factors influencing the vertical and horizontal transmission, and measures to prevent the importations in specialized farms.
Study of the effect immunostimulating preparation “Laktovit” on the part of lipid peroxidation products and the immune system in the carp`s blood by the disease associated form of bacterial rubella is presented. The indicators measured in the blood of two-years carp by the clinic of rubella after the introduction vaccine preparation “Laktovit” in the water. Revealed a significant increase in the activity of antioxidant enzymes and blood lysozym activity.
