The internationalization of small and medium size businesses is regarded as one of the most leading general policies in many of the world’s countries. The reason is that it is often the small and medium size companies which have a vital role in industrial innovation and gain profit for their societies through economic development. This research has investigated and identified the effective factors (organizational factors and business etiquette in Islam) on entering into international markets by presenting local-Islamic model in the companies of incubator of Science and Technology Park. The statistical population of the research includes the existing companies of Incubator of Mashhad Science and Technology Park. The statistical sample was investigated through simple random sampling from managers of active companies in export in Science and Technology Park. AMOS and SPSS software were applied for data analysis to identify the effects among variables survey research methodology and questionnaire tools were used.

January 2014 was set to be the take-off period for Nigerian SMEs to adopt IFRS. As Nigeria enters the transition phase of IFRS adoption for SMEs, there is a need to assess the level of preparedness for adoption, which is the focus of this paper. The population of the study is the SME proprietors in Nigeria, but samples were selected from Lagos, because of constraints in covering the entire 36 states of the country. Data was collected through self-administered questionnaires, by requesting SME proprietors to provide ranking on a 1-4 scale, on issues stemming from IFRS adoption by SMEs. Cluster sampling technique was used to administer 200 copies of the research instrument in two cluster sites having a proliferation of SMEs in Lagos—Alaba International Market in Ojo local government and Computer Village in Ikeja.141 copies of the instrument were retrieved but 136 copies found usable for analysis. Percentage Analysis, Mean, Standard deviation and factor analysis (using the principal component analysis extraction method) were used for analysis. A model for preparedness for IFRS adoption was formulated by regressing the factors influencing adoption on the level of preparedness. Results show that there is the need for IFRS adoption by SMEs in Nigeria because of the expected benefits to accrue. The level of preparedness for IFRS adoption (M= 2.32, SD=1.032) was however found to be low.

This article analyses the influence of the strategic alternative on the value level increase of the term deposits attracted from the Romanian’s population households, during the period 2012 – Q1/2015, depending on the change of the standards related to deposits granting in RON, EURO and other currencies, but also depending on the aggregate volume of deposits demand at a national level. One-way ANOVA represents the ideal model to emphasize that the average of the term deposits attracted from the population’s households during the last four years is influenced by the strategic alternative used by the credit institutions. The results of this analysis underlined the fact that there is a strong link between the strategic alternative adopted by the banks and the change of the value level of the term deposits intended for the population. The strategies to attract RON deposits proved to be more efficient compared to the strategies adopted by the banks for other currencies.

Harmful tax competition is not just tax system, but can also undermine the interests of local communities and the environment. Tax havens are a huge drain of resources from other countries (basic non tax haven) to offshore areas. To operate, tax havens are supported economically, politically, and socially by high tax states. Also, by encouraging savings, it boosts investment and capital formation. Because they are low tax jurisdictions, they exert a higher tax on tax rates worldwide.
