The diffusion equation is widely used to estimate the reactor properties. In this work, this method is presented to evaluate the effective multiplication factor of neutrons in Oklo natural nuclear reactors. The results obtained by analysis of the geometric configurations as function of the reactor's dimensions, are compared with those obtained using the Monte Carlo simulation method for the same configurations of Oklo natural nuclear reactor.

Ce travail est une contribution à l'étude du refroidissement d'un moteur-fusée à propergol liquide. En effet pour protéger la paroi de la chambre propulsive, un système de refroidissement est nécessaire, car la température des gaz de combustion du propergol liquide dans la chambre de combustion, est très élevée. C'est pour montrer l'intérêt du refroidissement de la paroi de la chambre propulsive qu'une étude de simulation numérique, des phénomènes de combustion et de refroidissement dans la chambre propulsive, a été réalisée en régime permanent à l'aide du code de calcul Fluent. Les résultats de simulation, notamment ceux relatifs aux températures des parois le long de la chambre propulsive ont été confrontés à ceux trouvés dans la littérature.

In this paper, an artificial neural network based-model (ANNBM) is introduced for partial shading detection losses in photovoltaic (PV) panel. A Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) is used to estimate the electrical outputs (current and voltage) of the photovoltaic module using the external meteorological data: solar irradiation G (W/m2) and the module temperature T (°C). Firstly, a database of the BP150SX photovoltaic module operating without any defect has been used to train the considered MLP. Subsequently, in the first case of this study, the developed model is used to estimate the output current and voltage of the PV module considering the partial shading effect. Results confirm the good ability of the ANNBM to detect the partial shading effect in the photovoltaic module with logical accuracy. The proposed strategy could also be used for the online monitoring and supervision of PV modules.

This paper presents a type-2 fuzzy logic control (FLC) approach for mobile robot tracking a dynamic target in cluttered environments. Robot control actions are generated by different behaviors: attraction to a dynamic target, obstacle avoidance and fusion block. The proposed controller calculates both the mobile robot linear and angular velocities from the distance and angle that separate it to the moving target/obstacle. The controller was designed using fuzzy logics theory and then, type-2 fuzzy logic was applied to better accuracy and smoothness of the robot trajectory. Simulation results illustrate that the proposed controller leads to good performances in terms of computational time and tracking errors convergence.

Dans cet article nous présentons une étude détaillée sur une méthode d'identification paramétrique de modèle ARMA (Autorégressive à moyenne ajusté) dans le cas où la sortie est quantifiée, nous allons utiliser la méthode de maximum de vraisemblance récursive pour estimer les paramètres de ce modèle (ARMA). Cette méthode est décompose sur deux partie, l'algorithme d'expectation maximisation qui est connu d'essuyer d'un faible taux de convergence. A cette, l'estimation obtenue après quelques itérations EM peut être utilisé pour initialiser une méthode de quasi-Newton. La méthode de maximum de vraisemblance est basée sur la minimisation d'un critère quadratique. La simulation est faite sous le logiciel MATLAB.

The purpose of this work is to contribute to the improvement of the dynamic performance of Rotor Flux-MRAS estimator for a simultaneous estimation of speed and stator resistance of induction motor in sensorless rotor field oriented control, having as available information voltages and stator currents. The conventional adaptation mechanism of stator resistance MRAS estimator using a proportional integral controller (PI) in first scheme is changed by a variable gain proportional integral controller (VGPI) in second scheme, then by an intelligent controller (fuzzy-PI) in third scheme. The value of estimate stator resistance is introduced online into the speed estimator with the Pl adaptation mechanism is substituted in last scheme with a fuzzy-PI controller. Tests are performed and validated by numerical simulation by MATLAB SIMULINK, environment, acquired results illustrate the contribution of every controller in quality terms of estimation and robustness, in relation to the variations of the stator resistance of the induction motor.

Ce papier traite de l'optimisation de gestion de l'énergie électrique dans un véhicule hybride (pile à combustible/batterie), afin de minimiser autant que possible la consommation de l'hydrogène avec le maintien de l'état de charge de la batterie. Premièrement, on présente les sources d'énergies utilisées dans cette étude, la modélisation du système hybride, le choix de type des convertisseurs d'électronique de puissance utilisés et le dimensionnement de ces éléments.Deuxièmement on traite le problème d'optimisation sous contraintes basée sur le principe du minimum de Pontriaguine en introduisant la fonction Hamiltonienne de la commande optimale.Cette stratégie a été évaluée dans un environnement de simulation sous Matlab/Simulink utilisant quatre cycles de conduite standards.Une étude comparative en terme de consommation d'hydrogène a été faite avec deux autres stratégies la première dite thermostat qui est une stratégie très simple basée sur les contraintes imposées par les sources, la seconde approche consiste à utiliser un filtre passe-bas à la sortie de la puissance demandée afin de respecter les contraintes en dynamique sur la source principale. La stratégie traitée présente une bonne amélioration de la consommation d'hydrogène en adoptant une bonne stratégie de gestion de l'énergie électrique dans le système hybride.
