In addition to this, the mobile application plays a vital role and made everyone’s life easier. Large number of apps is being used by the millions of human beings for various reasons. Smartphone applications are increasing day-by-day in every industry and food industry is no exception. In the field of Food Science and Technology more mobile applications are accessible and available at free of cost at Google Play Store. This review attempts to identify and focus on the Smartphone applications which are useful in the field of Food Science and Technology and emphasis on the detailed description about the significance of these apps to the consumer. This paper also attempts to find out the strengths and weakness of these Smartphone applications. These Smartphone applications would be useful to the food technology students and professionals and to those who are interested to understand the full potential of the food they are taking.

The current paradigm in healthcare is the notion of continuous remote patient monitoring using a network of wireless sensors. These healthcare sensor network systems, consisting of human body area networks (HBAN) and infrastructure area networks avoid the need for a manual self-administered health system and may enable users to take control of their health disorders in future. HBAN technology envisions miniaturized sensors worn or implanted on the body, continuously monitoring health parameters and acting to prevent the onset of critical health events. For example, diabetics now have access to an automatic insulin pump which monitors glucose levels and administers insulin when glucose levels are high. Similar technologies will one day result in devices which can minimize incidences of heart attack or stroke. They could prevent frequent hospital visits and save costs for both the individual patient and a nation’s healthcare system. Radio frequency (RF) wireless technology has been successfully deployed in most HBAN implementations; they consume a lot of battery power, susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and have security issues. The key issue with RF propagation in portable devices is that it consumes battery life quickly. For example zigbee has the maximum data rate of 250 kb/s at 26.5mW resulting in 106nJ per received bit but IBC consumes an order of magnitude less energy at data rates up to 10Mb/s which makes it an attractive communication method for HBAN applications.

Novel Wheel Chair for Physically Challenged Using IoT

Great people like Stephen Hawking and Max Brito have been suffering from this crippling phenomenon. Our project is an attempt to make lives of the physically challenged people by our extravagant project. We mean self-reliant, which will thereby reinstate their confidence and their happiness. The idea is to create an Eye Monitored System which allows movement of the patient’s wheelchair depending on the eye movements. We know that a person suffering from quadriplegia can partially move his eyes and tilt his head, thus presenting an opportunity for detecting those movements. We have created a device where a patient sitting on the Wheel Chair assembly looking directly at the camera, is able to move in a direction just by looking in that direction. The camera signals are monitored by a MATLAB script, which will then guide the motors wired to the AtMega1284P Microcontroller over the Serial Interface to move in a particular direction. The system is cost effective and thus can be used by patients spread over a large economy range. We have implement a Smart mobile application to paramount our project and thereby we justify our project name “The Smart Mobility For Physically Challenged”

Time scaling and its modulation over saturated time shift strategies are one of the best suitable methods to develop time stretched topologies. In this paper analysis of shifted standards through which Time Scaled modulated signal can be applied in several communication strategies depending on the frequency and phase of the amplitude. It is necessary to tackle physical topology challenges and to adequately use a limited platform. We should take a simple scaled signal and generate quality and compare it with theoretical values to applaud the traditional values. The interpolation introduced in this particular topology is very helpful to demonstrate various communication standards. We have signal statistics that are unknown and varying in real-time implementations. The signal statistics associated with interpolated communication are essentially changing throughout time interval. For scaling purpose we used the available traditional communication topologies like amplitude, phase and frequency. Therefore if we try to time-stretch the signal by making it faster, we do not have the ability to grab the future frames which makes speeding up the signal impossible. However in order to slow down the signal we are simply, in some cases, repeating parts of the known signal, therefore time-stretching used to decrease the speed of signal. Also as per application point of view this analysis helps to understand interpolated shifting behavior towards communication topologies.
