Information technology-supported tourism services and platforms have made it easier for individual travellers to plan and manage their trips (Chul et al, 2016). But with smart tourism, technological limitations for tourist attraction is a research need. These includes decision support in the context of tourists' information processing. This study contributes a mobile technology suitable to improve smart tourism technology (STT) for travel decision support satisfaction. An Augmented Reality based mobile solution in the tourism industry is a project to suit this purpose. This application would enhance tourism in terms of exploring the visiting area before the actual visit. Sri Lanka is the case study for this research, which will be used to implement the application for possible capability evaluation. Images of certain tourist areas will be taken and processed by a third party. Rendering will be the contributing component of the augmented reality,which integrates with the images that might have been processed and saved in the database in this project. Hence, providing tourists with information about their intending place of visit. Due to the lack of up to date information and navigation support, tourists are not able to visit all the attractions during a visit in a particular case of Srilanka. This paper provides the architecture of the augmented reality that improves this situation. It shows how the image processing and the rendering integrate and interacts to provide tourists with relevant information about their intending place of visit.

Intelligent Adhoc Network using Neural Network

An ad-hoc network is a network that is comprised of individual devices communicating each other directly or indirectly. The networks often bypass the gate keeping hardware or central access point such as a router. An ad hoc mobile network is a collection of mobile nodes that are dynamically and arbitrarily located in such a manner that the interconnections between nodes are capable of changing on a continual basis. A Neural Network is a series of algorithms that attempts to identify underlying relationships in a set off data by using a process that mimics the way the human brain operates. The key element of the paradigm is the novel structure of the information processing system. It is composed of a large number of highly inter connected processing elements (neurons) working in unison to solve specific problems or the general problem. Instead of using the shortest distance path algorithm to find the distance between device and router, we are using neural networks for finding short distance through a trained approach. Using Pygame, implemented an intelligent ad-hoc system for Mobile Adhoc Network.

Simulation in Container to Reduce Wasted Space With First Fit Decreasing and Largest Area First Fit Methods

Delivery of goods using large containers requires a large cost. One way that can be done to reduce the cost is to fill the container as much as possible so the numbers of containers needed for a delivery can be reduced as well as the cost needed. This study will describe a way to optimize the use of space in a container with three different shapes of items such as a box, cylinder, and sphere, then build a 3D simulation in the arrangement of items in containers with two different sizes which are 20 feet and 40 feet container. The results of this study will be presented in the form of a 3D simulation built using the PHP language and use two methods of packaging goods such as first fit decreasing and largest area first-fit. FFD algorithm will be used in determining the order of items that will fit into a container with a sort by the largest size. LAFF algorithm will be used in arranging the item’s position in the container.
