АКЦЕНТУАЦІЇ ХАРАКТЕРУ ОСОБИСТОСТІ КЕРІВНИКА

Стаття присвячена проблемі дослідження акцентуацій характеру в структурі особистості керівника, оскільки успішність та результативність управлінської професійної діяльності кадрової ланки значною мірою обумовлена індивідуально-психологічними властивостями особистості управлінця, зокрема межовими проявами його характеру, а саме акцентуаціями.

результативность управленческой профессиональной деятельности
кадрового звена в значительной мере обусловлена индивидуальнопсихологическими свойствами личности управленца, в частности крайними проявлениями его характера, а именно акцентуациями.

The article is devoted to the study of accentuations of the character in the structure of manager’s personality. The success and effectiveness of the management and professional activity is stipulated by the individual-psychological characteristics of the manager, including extreme manifestations of his/her character, in particular, by accentuation. For manager the accentuation is an alarming phenomenon, because not every accented person can be nominated for a leading position. In particular, it is difficult to imagine the head of police department as an excessively optimistic, frivolous person who feels no boundaries of permissible, heavily tolerates criticism, rapidly experiences failure (hyperthymic type of accentuation); as a persistent, self-confident, suspicious, person, who is not able to switch from one problem to another (sticking type of accentuation); a person, which is too good, soft-hearted, socially dependent, deeply experiencing the slightest trouble and does not seek to occupy a leading position (emotional type of accentuation); dogmatic, boring, meticulous, scrupulous with exaggerated accuracy, irritable person, prone to doubt and excessively frequent inspection and impractical of the process of management solutions performance (pedantic type of accentuation); modest person with internal strain and constant expectation of trouble, unable to defend his/her interests, fearful, insecure in himself and his own abilities, thoughts, decisions (anxious-fearful type of accentuation); a person with frequent mood changes and swings (cyclothymic type of accentuation); a person, which strives for recognition, adventure, attracting attention, capable of deliberately fantasize, lie and manipulate (demonstrative type of accentuation); aggressive, rough, impulsive, stubborn, intolerant, conflict and unrestrained person (excitable type of accentuation); prone to capture about a minor issue and despair as a result of frustration, feelings of polarity, distraction, panic, excessive talkativeness (affective-exalted type of accentuation); overly serious, depressed, closed, frustrated person with the low self-esteem (dysthymic type of accentuation).
However, it is advisable to pay attention to the strengths of the leaders with different accentuation that will certainly have a positive impact on their direct management professional activity, in particular: activity, endurance, ability to build trust, communication, creative approach to the extreme situations, willingness to take responsibility (hyperthymic type of accentuation); persistence in achieving goals, punctuality and commitment, attention to details, commitment to excellence (sticking type of accentuation) ; capacity for empathy and support, gratitude and humane expression of feelings (emotional type of accentuation); caring, responsibility, ability to check all details (pedantic type of accentuation); the ability to calculate their own strength and power of subordinates (anxious-fearful type accentuation); activity, creativity and commitment to innovation (cyclothymic type of accentuation) ; developed intuition, desire for non-standard solutions, capability to infect others with ideas and views (demonstrative type of accentuation); to trust and be committed to the people (excitable type of accentuation); morality, ability to see the real truth (affective-exalted type of accentuation); to have a cold mind, be resistant to the emotional impact, the ability to work a long time (dysthymic type of accentuation).
