Psychology contributes to the understanding and analysis of criminal phenomena of basic and applied
research, which is carried out by measuring, evaluation and objectivity of the attributes that
characterize populations, individuals and context. Crime and, therefore, violence as a phenomenon
that impacts on a degenerative human development, prevent the welfare and quality of
life of people. Consequently, this issue can not be limited to the field of criminal justice. The
multiple causes and consequences of psychological, physical, social and emotional development
are essential scientific input to support the analysis of the nature of crime and social reaction
components, which are the subject of criminology, including this as a causal explanatory science,
which contributes the prevention, prediction, evaluation and pre-analysis of crime and criminal
prosecution. It’s all part of this work has been done with the support of the current theories
of personality measurement and evaluation.
