Öz Bu çalışmada, hız-algılayıcısız asenkron motor (ASM) kontrolü için uyarlamalı genişletilmiş Kalman filtresi (UGKF) tabanlı sabit anahtarlama frekanslı doğrudan moment kontrollü (SAF-DMK’lı) sürücü sisteminin tasarımı gerçekleştirilmektedir. Stator akısı tabanlı ASM modelini kullanan UGKF ile GKF’lerin kestirim başarımını doğrudan etkileyen ve geleneksel GKF’lerde sabit olarak kabul edilen sistem gürültüsü kovaryans matrisi çalışma koşullarına göre çevrimiçi olarak güncellenmektedir. UGKF’nin geleneksel DMK’lı sürücü yerine, SAF-DMK’lı sürücüye dahil edilmesinin nedeni geleneksel DMK kontrolündeki moment dalgalanmalarının ve değişken anahtarlama frekansından kaynaklanan anahtarlama kayıplarının azaltılmasıdır. SAF-DMK’lı sürücünün ihtiyaç duyduğu stator akısının stator duran eksen takımı bileşenlerine ve rotor mekanik açısal hızına ek olarak, stator akımının stator duran eksen takımı bileşenleri ve yük momenti önerilen UGKF tabanlı gözlemleyici ile kestirilmektedir. Yük momenti kestirimi ile önerilen hız-algılayıcısız sürücü sisteminin bozucu yük momenti değişimlerine karşı dayanıklı olması sağlanmaktadır. Son olarak, önerilen UGKF-tabanlı hız-algılayıcısız SAF-DMK’lı sürücü sistemi benzetim çalışmaları altında doğrulanmaktadır. Abstract In this study, the design of the adaptive extended Kalman filter (AEKF) based direct torque controlled drive system with constant switching frequency (DTCD-CSF) is performed for speed-sensorless control of induction motor (IM). The system noise covariance matrix, which directly affects the estimation performance of EKFs and is assumed as constant in conventional EKFs, is updated online according to the operating conditions by the AEKF, which uses stator flux-based IM model. The reason why the proposed algorithm is included on a DTCD-CSF, instead of a conventional DTCD, is to reduce the torque ripples in the traditional direct torque control and the switching losses caused by the variable switching frequency. The load torque and the stator stationary axis components of stator currents in addition to the stator stationary axis components of stator fluxes and the rotor mechanical speed required for the DTCD-CSF are estimated by the proposed AEKF-based observer. By the load torque estimation, it is ensured that the proposed speed-sensorless drive system is robust to changes in load torque. Finally, the proposed AEKF-based speed-sensorless DTCD-CSF is verified under simulation studies.

Abstract This study's main purpose is to manufacture a low-cost, highly functional, myoelectric signal-controlled prosthetic hand for amputees in developing countries below a certain economic level. In this study, a prosthetic hand with five fingers was modeled on 15-degree freedom, and an independent joint movement was achieved through the use of a separate motor actuator for each joint in the fingers. The hand of the prosthetic can therefore keep the objects in the best possible way. The prosthetic was produced by hand using PLA material on a 3D printer to reduce cost. Bioelectric signals provide the human-prosthetic hand interaction, i.e. identification of the form of hand gesture. With 97 percent progress, the classification of a human hand with the SVM algorithm has been achieved. The prosthetic hand's total cost is US$ 450. The hand was compared in terms of qualitative and quantitative performance metrics with other high-priced rivals and the findings were interpreted. Öz Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, belirli bir ekonomik düzeyin altındaki gelişmekte olan ülkelerdeki ampute'ler için düşük maliyetli, oldukça işlevsel, miyoelektrik sinyal kontrollü bir protez el üretmektir. Bu çalışmada, beş parmaklı protez el 15 serbestlik dereceli olarak modellenmiş ve parmaklardaki her bir eklem için ayrı bir motor aktüatörü kullanılarak bağımsız eklem hareketi sağlanmıştır. Protezin el bu nedenle nesneleri mümkün olan en iyi şekilde tutabilir. Protez, maliyeti azaltmak için bir 3D yazıcıda PLA malzemesi kullanılarak üretildi. Biyoelektrik sinyaller insan protezi el etkileşimini, yani el hareketi formunun tanımlanmasını sağlar. Yüzde 97 başarı ile bir insan elinin hareket türü tanımlaması SVM algoritması ile sağlandı. Protez elin toplam maliyeti 450 ABD dolarıdır. El, diğer yüksek fiyatlı rakiplerle kalitatif ve kantitatif performans metrikleri açısından karşılaştırılmış ve bulgular yorumlanmıştır. Öz Rüzgar Enerjisi Santrallarında (RES) gerçekleştirilen performans testleri, santral işletmecileri ve türbin üreticileri için oldukça önemlidir. Performans testlerinde enerji üretim hesabı için rüzgar hızı dağılımlarının modellenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada, performans testlerinde kullanılan rüzgar hız dağılım modellerinin Çekirdek Yoğunluk Kestirimi (ÇYK) yöntemi ile oluşturulması önerilmiştir. Önerilen yöntemin uygulaması Türkiye enterkonnekte elektrik şebekesine bağlı bir RES’e ait rüzgar türbini (RT) üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Uygulama sonucu elde edilen sonuçlar, literatürce kabul görmüş iki farklı yöntem ile kıyaslanarak değerlendirilmiştir. Kıyaslanan yöntemlerden ilki International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 61400-12-2 No.lu Standartta önerilen Rayleigh fonksiyonu ile dağılım modelleme yöntemidir. İkincisi RES fizibilite çalışmalarında tercih edilen Weibull fonksiyonu ile dağılım modelleme yöntemidir. Değerlendirme sonucunda ÇYK, Rayleigh ve Weibull fonksiyonları kullanan yöntemlerin sırasıyla %1.32, %4.36 ve %12.12 mutlak hata ile bir yıllık üretimi hesaplayabildiği görülmüştür. Bu durum önerilen yöntemin literatürce kabul görmüş ve çok yaygın olarak kullanılan iki yöntemden daha doğru sonuç verdiğini göstermektedir. Önerilen yöntemin bir diğer avantajı ise non-parametrik olması ve parametrik Weibull, Rayleigh fonksiyonu kullanan yöntemlerde olduğu gibi parametre hesabına ihtiyaç duymamasıdır. In this study, it is proposed to create wind speed distribution models that used in performance tests by using Kernel Density Estimation (KDE) method. The application of proposed method is carried on the wind turbine (WT) of WPP that tied to Turkish interconnected electricity system. The results of the application were evaluated by comparing the two different methods that accepted in the literature. The first one of these is modelling distribution by using Rayleigh function that recommended in International Electro technical Commission (IEC) 61400-12-2 numbered Standard. The second method is modelling distribution by Weibull function, which is preferred in the WPP feasibility studies. As a result of the evaluation, the methods that use KDE, Rayleigh and Weibull functions were able to calculate one-year generation with 1.32%, 4.36% and 12.12% absolute errors, respectively. This situation shows that the proposed method gives more accurate results than the two widely used methods that accepted in literature. Another advantage of the proposed method is that it is non-parametric and does not require a parameter calculation, as in methods that use the parametric Weibull, Rayleigh function. Öz Enerji çevrim verimliliği %10’lara kadar çıkabilen endüstriyel Termoelektrik Jeneratörler (TEJ) atık ısılardan elektrik enerjisi elde ediniminde kullanılarak enerji verimliliğine katkıda bulunurlar. TEJ iç direnci ile yük direncinin eşit olmaması verim değerini oldukça düşürür. İç direnç ile yük direnci arasındaki dengesizliğin ortadan kaldırılması veya en aza indirilmesi için Maksimum Güç Noktası İzleyici (MGNİ) algoritmaları kullanılır. Bu çalışmada, iç direnç ile yük direnci arasındaki eşitliği sağlamak için Karıştır ve Gözlemle (K&G) metodu temelinde MGNİ algoritması, alçaltan-yükselten çevirici kullanılarak MATLAB/Simulink ile modellenmiştir. İlk olarak, Seebeck sabitine ve sıcaklık farkına bağlı olarak bir TEJ modellemesi yapılmıştır. Bu modellemede, seri ve paralel bağlanacak TEJ’ler belirlendikten sonra, TEJ modelinin çıkışına doğrudan değişken yük direnci bağlanmıştır. Yük direnci ve sıcaklık farkı değişim değerleri için çıkış gücü hesaplanmıştır. Bu durumda, MGNİ’siz TEJ’in yük değişimlerinden oldukça etkilendiği tespit edilmiştir. Verim değeri de buna bağlı olarak sürekli salınımlar yapmıştır. Daha sonra, bu sıcaklık farkı değişimi ve değişken yük K&G MGNİ’li alçaltan-yükselten çevirici sistemine uygulanmıştır. Geliştirilen K&G MGNİ algoritmalı TEJ’in yük ve sıcaklık değişimlerine rağmen Maksimum Güç Noktasını (MGN) %98.72 bir doğrulukla izlediği görülmüş ve TEJ en yüksek verimlilikle her koşulda çalıştırılmıştır. Geliştirilen bu K&G MGNİ algoritması ile kontrol edilen, alçaltan-yükselten çeviricili bir TEJ sisteminin modeli sayesinde tasarımcılar için yalnızca Seebeck sabitinin ve seri-paralel bağlı TEJ sayılarının girilmesinin yeterli olacağı bir benzetim çalışması sunulmuştur. Abstract Industrial Thermoelectric Generators (TEGs) with up to 10% energy conversion efficiency contribute to energy efficiency by using electrical energy to obtain heat from waste heat. The TEG internal resistance and the unequal load resistance considerably reduce the efficiency. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms are used to eliminate or minimize the imbalance between internal resistance and load resistance. In this study, the MPPT algorithm was modeled with MATLAB/Simulink by using the buck-boost converter to ensure the matching between internal resistance and load resistance based on Perturb and Observe (P&O). First, a TEG modeling was performed based on the Seebeck constant and temperature difference. In this modeling, after determining the TEGs to be connected in series and parallel, the variable load resistance was directly connected to the output of the TEG model. The output power of the TEG is calculated for the load resistance and the temperature difference values. In this case, it was determined that TEG without MPPT was highly affected by the load changes. The efficiency value is therefore continuously oscillating. Subsequently, this temperature difference change and the variable load were applied to the TEG system buck-boost converter with P&O MPPT. The TEG system with P&O MPPT algorithm was observed to track the Maximum Power Point (MPP) with an accuracy of 98.72% despite load and temperature changes. Thanks to the developed TEG system modeling of the P&O MPPT buck-boost converter, a simulation study is provided for the designers who will design the TEG system only to enter the Seebeck constant, series- parallel connected TEG numbers.

Abstract Knowledge-based modeling has a critical role to embed existing knowledge to improve modeling performance. Since reconfigurable antenna can provide more operational frequencies than the classical antennas, a knowledge-based hybrid structure is used in this work to obtain efficient model and producing optimum new models for a reconfigurable microstrip antenna. The hybrid structure consists of two phases. The first phase generates initial knowledge which is used in knowledge-based modeling structure to obtain design parameters. Artificial neural network based multilayer perceptron can generate necessary knowledge for a knowledge-based model after the training process. Knowledge-based modeling improves the accuracy of the initial model to determine design parameters corresponding to the design target. Source difference, prior knowledge Input and prior knowledge input with difference can be applied to realize an efficient knowledge-based strategy. 3D-EM simulation generates the new model in terms of the design parameters of the proposed application. It has three switching states for operating, which are organized by two resistor circuits representing ON/OFF states. Switch positions and geometrical parameters can be used for satisfying design targets between 1 GHz and 6 GHz for the efficient antenna design. Öz Bilgi tabanlı modelleme, modelleme performansını geliştirmek için mevcut bilgiyi içine katmak için kritik bir role sahiptir. Yeniden yapılandırılabilir anten, klasik antenlerden daha fazla operasyonel frekans sağlayabildiğinden, bu çalışmada bilgi tabanlı bir hibrid yapı, verimli bir model elde etmek ve aynı zamanda yeniden yapılandırılabilir bir N-şekilli mikroşerit anten (RNSMA) için optimum yeni çözümler üretmek için kullanılmıştır. Hibrid yapı iki aşamadan oluşmaktadır. İlk aşama, tasarım parametrelerini elde etmek için bilgi tabanlı modelleme yapısında kullanılan başlangıç bilgisini üretmektedir. Yapay sinir ağı tabanlı çok katmanlı algılayıcı, eğitim sürecinden sonra bilgi tabanlı bir model için gerekli bilgiyi üretebilir. Bilgi tabanlı modelleme, tasarım hedefine karşılık gelen tasarım parametrelerini belirlemek için başlangıç modelinin doğruluğunu geliştirir. Verimli bilgi temelli bir stratejiyi gerçekleştirmek için Ön Bilgi Girişi (PKI), Kaynak Farkı (SD) ve Ön Bilgi Girişi ile Fark (PKID) uygulanabilir. 3B-EM simülasyonu, RNSMA'nın tasarım parametrelerine bağlı olarak yeni çözümü üretir. Önerilen anten, AÇIK/KAPALI durumlarını kullanarak iki direnç devresi tarafından kontrol edilen üç çalışma moduna sahiptir. Anahtar konumları ve geometrik parametreler verimli bir anten tasarımı için 1 GHz ve 6 GHz arasında tasarım hedeflerini karşılamak için kullanılabilir. Abstract There are an increasing number of lightweight devices such as smart cards, radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, wireless sensor nodes and devices associated with the Internet of Things (IoT) concept, all of which need effective and lightweight security structures. One of the basic elements used in authentication protocols is the nonce values that are generated by PRNGs. Also random numbers are used for encryption process in secure communication. Proposed PRNG has demonstrated great suitability for devices with limited resources in terms of performance, resource usage and randomness. This generator is tested with NIST statistical test suite (NIST STS), which is one of the most comprehensive randomness test tools. It is also implemented, tested on wireless identification and sensing platform (WISP) passive RFID tag and compared with well-known PRNGs. As a result of the comparisons, it has better results than its rivals. Öz Akıllı kartlar, radyo frekansı tanımlama (RFID) etiketleri, kablosuz sensör düğümleri ve Nesnelerin İnterneti (IoT) konsepti ile ilişkili düşük kaynaklı cihazların sayısında artış olmaktadır. Kimlik doğrulama protokollerinde kullanılan temel öğelerden biri SRSÜ'ler tarafından üretilen nonce değerleridir. Ayrıca güvenli iletişimde şifreleme işlemi için rasgele sayılar kullanılır. Önerilen SRSÜ, sınırlı kaynaklara sahip cihazlarda performans, kaynak kullanımı ve rastlantısallık açısından uygunluk göstermiştir. Bu üreteç en kapsamlı rastgele sayı test araçlarından biri olan NIST istatistiksel test takımı (NIST STS) ile test edilmiştir. Ayrıca, kablosuz tanıma ve algılama platformu (WISP) pasif RFID etiketi üzerinde test edilmiş ve uygulanmış ve iyi bilinen SRSÜ'lerle karşılaştırılmıştır. Karşılaştırmalar sonucunda rakiplerinden daha iyi sonuçlar vermiştir. Öz Mevcut iş akışı yönetim sistemleri belirli bir iş sürecini uygulayabilmek için önceden bütün adımların ve diğer gerekli tanımların yapılmasını gerektirir. İş akışlarını tasarlamak karmaşık ve zaman alıcı bir iştir. Çoğunlukla gerçekleşen iş süreçleri ile olması istenen süreçler birbirinden farklıdır. Bu nedenle, ideal süreçlerden ziyade gerçekleşen süreçlerin keşfi için çeşitli algoritmalar geliştirilmiştir. Bu algoritmalar için ilk adım, uygulamada olan süreç hakkında detayları içeren olay kayıtlarının elde edilmesidir. Bu çalışmada bilişim teknolojileri (IT) sistemlerinde kayıtlı olan olay kayıtlarını kullanan alfa algoritması tanıtılmıştır. İşe alım süreçlerinde gerçekleştirilen temel faaliyetler ile süreç modelleri oluşturulmuştur. Alfa algoritmasının bir iş akışını başarılı bir şekilde modelleyebildiği gösterilmiştir. Abstract Current process management systems require a fully defined workflow design to implement a specific business process. Designing a business process is a complex and time-consuming task. Mostly workflow processes are different from those that are desired. Therefore, various algorithms have been developed for the discovery of actual processes rather than ideal processes. The first step for the discovery algorithms is to extract event logs that contain details about the process. In this study, Alpha algorithm which is used to generate a process model in event logs recorded in information technology (IT) systems is introduced. Process models are discovered using the basic activities performed in the recruitment processes. It has been shown that the alpha algorithm can successfully model a business process.

Abstract Recently, the rapid development of video editing software has made video forgery applicable. Researchers have proposed methods to detect forged video frames. These methods utilize codec properties, motion artifacts, noise effect and frame similarity to detect forgery. Execution time and low detection accuracy are the two main drawbacks of forgery detection methods reported in the literature. In this study, a new frame duplication detection method using Local Difference Binary (LDB) is proposed to extract features from the frames. Distance between similar frames that have similar feature vectors are is used by the method to estimate Distance of Forgery and to determine the exact location of duplicated frames. PSNR between similar frames are is then used to group them into three classes, and rule-based mechanism reports forged frames according to the membership to classes. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method has lower execution time with higher accuracy than similar works. Öz Son yıllarda, video düzenleme yazılımının hızlı gelişimi video sahteciliğini uygulanabilir hale getirmiştir. Araştırmacılar sahte video karelerini tespit etmek için yöntemler önermiştir. Bu yöntemler sahteciliği tespit etmek için kodek özelliklerini, hareket artefaktlarını, gürültü etkisini ve çerçeve benzerliğini kullanmaktadır. Literatürde sahtecilik tespiti için önerilen yöntemlerin iki ana dezavantajı çalışma zamanı ve düşük tespit doğruluğudur. Bu çalışmada, çerçevelerden özellikler çıkarmak için Yerel Fark İkililerini (LDB) kullanan yeni bir çerçeve tekrarlama tespit yöntemi önerilmiştir. Benzer özellik vektörlerine sahip benzer çerçeveler arasındaki mesafe, Sahtecilik Mesafesini tahmin etmek ve kopyalanan çerçevelerin tam yerini belirlemek için kullanılmaktadır. Benzer çerçeveler arasındaki PSNR daha sonra bunları üç sınıfa gruplamak için kullanılır ve kural tabanlı mekanizma sahte çerçeveleri sınıf üyeliklerine göre raporlar. Deneysel sonuçlar, önerilen yöntemin, benzer çalışmalara kıyasla daha yüksek hassasiyetle daha düşük uygulama süresine sahip olduğunu göstermektedir.
