Yumurta kolisi (viyol) imalatının en önemli süreçlerinden biri kurutma işlemidir. Viyol hamuru kalıplara döküldükten sonra yapısında bulunan su moleküllerini yok etmek için kurutma işlemi gerçekleştirilmektedir. Endüstride viyol kurutma işlemi geleneksel kurutma sistemleri ile yapılmaktadır. Yapılan bu çalışmada ise; özel olarak tasarlanıp imal edilmiş prototip konveyörlü mikrodalga fırın sisteminde ıslak viyolün kurutma deneyleri yapılmıştır. Deneyler sonucunda, magnetron gücünün artmasıyla nem oranının düştüğü, dolayısıyla viyolün kurutma süresinin azaldığı görülmüştür. Anahtar Kelimeler: Mikrodalga, Viyol, Kurutma. ABSTRACT: One of the most important processes is the drying process in manufacturing of viol. Drying process is carried out to remove the water molecules in the viol structure of after viol pulp is poured into the molds. Viol drying process is made by traditional drying systems in the industry. In this study, drying experiments were conducted of wet viol in the specifically designed and manufactured the prototype conveyor microwave drying oven. As a result of experiments, it has been observed that decreased moisture gradient and drying time of viol due to the increasing power of the magnetron. Key words: Microwave, Viol, Drying.

ÖZET: Bu çalışmada, Di=30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 mm olan yedi farklı çapta iç silindir arkasında meydana gelen akış yapısı, etrafına yerleştirilen β=0.5 geçirgenlik oranına sahip silindirle kontrol edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Dış silindirin çapı Dd=100 mm olarak seçilmiştir. Silindir üzerine açılan deliklerin çapı d=10 mm’dir. Deneyler süresince su yüksekliği hw=400 mm’de sabit tutulmuştur. Suyun hızı U=100 mm/s ve buna karşılık dış çapa bağlı Reynolds sayısı ReD=10000’dir. Silindir arkasında meydana gelen akış yapısı PIV tekniği kullanılarak incelenmiştir. PIV deneyleri 200 mm’de orta düzlemde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Delikli silindirin, farklı çaplardaki silindir (Di=30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 mm) arkasında meydana gelen akış yapısında girdap kopmalarının azaldığı gözlenmiştir. Yüksek çap oranlarında (Di/Dd≥0.7) delikli dış silindir akış kontrolü üzerindeki etkinliğini kaybetmektedir. ABSTRACT: In this study, it is aimed to control flow structure downstream of inner cylinder with seven different diameters (Di= 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90mm) by a surrounding outer cylinder that have β=0.5 porosity. The diameter of outer cylinder was chosen as 100mm. The perforation hole diameters of the cylinder were 10mm. The water height was kept constant during experiments as hw=400mm.The depth-averaged free stream velocity was U=100m/s which corresponded to a Reynolds number ReD=10000 based on outer cylinder diameter. Flow characteristics downstream of cylinder was investigated by using particle image velocimetry (PIV) technique. PIV experiments were performed at the mid-section of water 200mm. It has been observed that the perforated outer cylinder decreased vortex shedding downstream of inner cylinder with different diameters (Di=30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90mm). For high diameter ratios Di/Do≥0.7 perforated outer cylinder lost its effect on the flow control. Key words: Passive control method, Vortex control, Porosity, Cylinder, PIV.

ÖZET: Bu çalışmada, termal enerji depolama için güneş havuzu tabakalarının kapsamlı termodinamik modellemesi sürdürülebilirlik yaklaşımını belirlemek için verilmiştir. Güneş havuzu tabakaları üst konvektif bölge (ÜKB), konvektif olmayan bölge (KOB) ve alt konvektif bölge (AKB) ve ya ısı depolama bölgesi (IDB) olmak üzere üç bölgeden oluşmaktadır. Güneş havuzunun üç tabakasının enerjisi, ekserjisi, enerji ve ekserji verimlilikleri global güneş radyasyonu ve çevre sıcaklığının değişmesi durumları altında incelenmiştir. Aynı zamanda, parametrik çalışma sonuçlarına göre global güneş radyasyonu ve çevre sıcaklığı termodinamik parametreleri önemli ölçüde etkilemektedir. Ekserji analizi sonuçlarına göre AKB tabakasında ısı enerjisi toplanması ve bu tabaka ile çevre ortam arasındaki ısı farkının yüksek olması nedeniyle güneş havuzu tabakalarının maksimum ekserjisine AKB’nin sahip olduğu görülmektedir. ÜKB, KOB ve AKB tabakları için maksimum ekserji verimlilikleri sırasıyla % 38,1, % 39,84 ve % 40,08 olarak elde edilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Güneş havuzu, Enerji ve ekserji analizi, Verimlilik. ABSTARCT: In this paper, a comprehensive thermodynamic modeling for determining the sustainability approach is given of the solar pond layers for thermal energy storage. The solar pond layers consist of three zones as an upper convective zone (UCZ), a non-convective zone (NCZ) and a lower convective zone (LCZ) or heat storage zone (HSZ). The energy, exergy, energy efficiency and exergy efficiency of the three layers of the solar pond are examined under the variation of the global solar radiation and ambient temperature. Also, the parametric studies show that the global solar radiation and ambient temperature significantly affect the thermodynamic parameters. The exergy results given that the LCZ has the maximum exergy of the solar pond layers, due to the heat energy store in this layer and high temperature difference between the LCZ and ambient temperature. The maximum exergy efficiency for the UCZ, NCZ and LCZ layers are obtained to be 38.1 %, 39.84 % and 40.08 %, respectively. Key words: Solar pond, Energy and exergy analysis, Efficiency.
